Hello! No she's very chilled and very much a house cat. She loves to have a sniff around and a walk up and down to check where she is but she's happy to stay near the boat 😺
So funny watching the small boat chase after the big one like a duckling after its mother! Alan cam shows a whole new perspective too :)
I really want to watch a weekly “Alan Cam” video!! Just Alan jumping around from place to place and random shots of her walking around. 15 minutes at least every week. Thanks! 😂😂😂😂

You guys have gotten so comfortable with doing this, and it feels so natural now, that it's almost like I'm a guest with you instead of just watching a video. It's so interesting seeing how it all looks from Alan's perspective, and seeing what she chooses to look at. Love the new music Benny! Your music is a large part of what makes your videos so special and different from other narrowboat videos. Does Emily ever sing or play anything on any of your songs? Maybe you can figure out a way to include Alan purring on a song or two lol. This was such a fun video!

I can't help wondering how much time and effort you two would save if you towed Rambler on a short, rigid tow bar behind Roisin. You would save on fuel and also, because you can turn it around easily, you could use it to backtrack to fetch the van.

when i was little we got coal in a lorry dumping it of and we had to store it with showels and musels. ther was only cold wather in the thub and a coal stove. my grandmas sister was op at 5 to put coal in the stove so it diddent go out. i loved fiering up in the stove so when i wissited i was a morning guy at 4 years old.

Ginger, lemon & honey...smashing drink and keeps you regular as clockwork! I have two in the morning every day without fail.
I went off grid with a large version of a narrow boat set at my house. I started off with 2 80 watt panels to power the lights with a car battery. I ended up with 2 kilowatts of panels on the sheds. A 80 amp charge controller. 6 85 amp batteries wired to 24 volts. A 3.5 kilowatt mains inverter. The Chinese charge controller kept going wrong and over charging the system so I gave up and connected the panel to the grid. I used to have a immersion heater when the batteries were full so the power was diverted. I sure you can do this with your set up. Need to connect it to the charge controller so when it`s full it switches over.

If you would have added ballast in the bottom of the little boat it would have been more stable on the water and easier to steer-especially in cross winds.

Is towing rambler an option or is it more hassle than it's worth? I'm a massive fan of Alan cam and a good time laps especially with Benny's music overlayed. This vlog really makes my Sunday morning especially when it's wet and windy like it is today much love from new zealand 🇳🇿
