The Great Attractor just sounds scary
Everything has to revolve around something, right?
It doesn't really sound _attractive,_ does it?
It is scary. There are about 3.5 billion of them on this very planet.

A CZcamsr that goes by "carykh" actually made this when he was younger. His videos are full of plenty of nerdy stuff and are worth checking out.
Thanks for the tip. I love this stuff.
cary knows hell
he animates bfdi to
BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB, and BFB(FDI)
i watch him all time

The minecraft world is the size of NEPTUNE!?!?
WHAT THE FREAKING HECK!?!?
Pie Lover9000 yes
the minecraft world used to be 2,147,483,648 meters, the maximum 32-bit graphical processor limit (because one minecraft block is equal to 1m^3). now it's around 30,000,000,000 meters or 30 gigameters, the size of neptune.
(edit: may have done the math wrong since i'm making neptune the density of earth and you can't stop me)
Little bigger like thousands or a million
Hundreds or even tens
@@Versuffe if the world border were gone, it would be 9.223 quintillion, so i'm not off. The world border is 15 million blocks in positive and negative x/z from 0,0.
I actually love your videos, so interesting and informative. Shared with my friends and they loved it.
It's not 2.5 light years to Andromeda Anton, it's 2.3 million light years.
*2 537 000 light years
It's around 2.5 billion I guess
Sai Vignesh 2.5 MILLION NOT BILLION...
2.5 million
My apologies all, I forgot the first digit after the decimal (2.537 million.) My mistake
If someone has a huge ego show them this and tell them that they aren't shit

Anton! Cary Huang also has a CZcams channel Carykh is the name.
He should really credit his channel in the description
Wait... HE MADE THIS? That is awesome
cary knows hell
He and Michael created bfdi
@@caloob_ he already mentioned cary huang in the video no need for channel link
"I guess Hourglass Nebula is actually pretty beautiful too"
No, beautiful does not even begin to describe the Hourglass Nebula
It's breathtaking
It’s astonishing!!
I love going to your older videos from time to time. Slightly different vibe, but from perspective of now, it still feels as “you”, you know :D
Thanks for giving me a boost since I'm doing Maths, physics, Chemistry and Further Maths at College!
Dude I love your videos
About the Minecraft World... yes it is true that it's approximately the size of Neptune. Its surface area is 3,6 quadrillion square metres, Neptune's is 7,6 quadrillion square metres. MInecraft is still smaller but it's still very big
60,000 km in lenght
Wonder why disney has not copyrighted the water molecule since it looks like a micky mouse head
IIGrayfoxII lol good one
If you click on the water molecule it even says that it looks like Mickey Mouse head
It should be the other way around

I used this when in a computing lesson a few years ago it was fun just going out to the universe then getting very small so nostalgic
I went on the site to look at this out of curiosity and it absolutely blew my fucking mind, I was just sitting at my desk at amazement reading everything, from just a small Proton to the absolutely massive Sloan Great Wall. I knew that we were small in the Universe but the presentation really helped me put things into perspective of how small we really are compared to just the observable universe, who knows what giants there are for us to discover later on.
Wow...That was actually quite mind blowing.
These videos make me feel good, Anton!
Great simulation! The second part made me feel so insignificant!
mike amber join the club
i visited the website and the music calmed me down and made everything satesfining
Thx for saving me $1.39
I mainly clicked on this video because Anton made the thumbnail say "giant earthworm universe", but also because it's a Anton video.

That's enough, Ive had it, I'm totally subscribing, your channel is too good
Happy new year wonderful

:o)
Fun Fact: "The Scale of the Universe" was made by the same guy that made BFDI.
L T HORNING what's that?
Split Shockwave Battle of Dream Island is an animated series on CZcams. It's pretty enjoyable.
i know
@@crackedemerald4930 Battle for Dream island is an object show in CZcams that was made by Cary and Michael Huang. It currently has a bunch of episodes from: Season 1 (20 contestants)
to Season 2 (26 contestants)
to Season 3 (24 or more contestants)
to Season 4 (64 contestants)
Black holes aren't the singularity, they are the whole region of space where the acceleration is >= the speed of light, and even the singularity can theoretically be big in the case of ring singularities (at least for the size of the circle, not the width of the line).
*my brain*
I've been really into the solar system, black holes, etc. etc. and the more I learn the more my brain gets scrambled. Of course the sheer size of the ever expanding universe is awe inspiring, its incredible but seeing these tiny, fucking tiny little things is just as incredible when put into perspective. You hear someone say "oh this thing is small" and you think "small" but this really shows you that these things are *SMALL*.. And also *BIG*
Man... we think we're small but imagine how small microscopic life would feel if they could understand all this.
Congrats on 150,000
i just love how a nebula was named after me and my favorite thing here on earth.
12:12 For a second I thought you were going to say eyes lmao
Cary and Michael Huang are the creaters of BFDI
In Its okay to be smart's vid, they discussed how big the MCW is and it's about the size of the sun to the Astroid belt or to jupiter

Oh this thing! I first saw it linked from a Vsauce video. I love this kind of stuff. :) There's even a game on Kongregate based off of it in which you start off as quantum foam and eventually upgrade to the whole universe. This thing is what caused me to look up exotically huge/small units of measurement for the first time, too, such as "yoctometers".
Also AAAAAAA WTF IS THAT SPIDER CRAB IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF A B-MOVIE FROM THE '50S ONLY REAL AAAAAAAAA
(Seriously though I can't stop freaking out about that thing. Holy CRAP!)
Robin Chesterfield you mean holy CRAB right?
kill me
brilliant video
I search “scale of the universe” and yes, you did one. And made 5 years ago, rad.
getting a headache!!! Glad you brought us back 😵🤔👍💓🙏🏻🆗
The size of the singularity is not just the Planck length, it's even smaller. Even smaller. Infinitely smaller.
Don't You Love It When You Find Out About Something Called The Great Attractor Is Pulling Galaxies Towards It?
Not That It Matters That It Exists, The Universe Will Die Of Heat Death Before It Can Eat Our Galaxy
Michael?! Cary?! That sounds like BFDI. Also the Bacteriophage asset. Yeah, that's them. Also the last name.
Wolf 916 is like a video game user name
my nickname i usually use is ,,littlethieffox,,
Can you do a video on the Oort Cloud? I've never heard of it and it sounds really cool.
Cary was 12 years old when he made that game
After watching this video you can’t argue that there are not other lifeforms in the universe.
I mean like Jesus Christ its so fucking big and it keeps expanding
mind blown. best video ever.
Cary BFDI!!!!!!!!! I love it
Cary and Michael Huang? BFDI?!
Da Redi Man yes
Da Redi Man BFDI FAN DETECTED. LIKING COMMENT PROCESS ACTIVATED
Da Redi Man lol
*YES FREE FOOD*
BFDI YAYYYY
By Michael and Cary Huang who made BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB, and BFB.
ah finally someone who knows
Good job!
In my infinite ignorance, I wonder if black hole singularities are matter converted to pure energy, so that they can be so small. It seems impossible to squeeze something as massive as a star into a Planck length unless it's in an equivalent energy form. As far as I know, energy doesn't have a gravitational pull, so I wouldn't have any idea how to reconcile that.
Guys the Minecraft world isn’t flat
Lolneed it is game theory lied to you
Except that it is flat
“The largest objects in the universe, starting of course with the Japanese spider.”. *Imagines galactic spider floating through the universe consuming galaxies.*
texas be like: bigger than ceres, charon and quaoar
Thank you Anton
Cary Huang... another one of my favourite youtubers... what is this? A crossover Episode?
Cary and Michael are the ones that voice and make BFDI! :o
Anton can you do a 100K Q&A vid?
when u reach 100K
Since we can’t travel faster than light, and the universe expands faster than light, were never going to see the edge of the universe.
That moment when you watch both Anton and Carykh.
I saw "Can We Make a Water Star? Black Hole? Gas Giant? - Universe Sandbox²" In my recommended and read it as Jas Giant
Does that mean that Planck length can't be actually measured(even though it's called "length", implying two points with distance between) since it can't be divided into further measurable parts? Or Planck length is not actually "length", but a state of space itself no longer able to accommodate for its own volume?
And the coolest thing is that I am the exact center of the visible universe, and so are you.
You should put the star Achernar in Universe Sandbox² and see if it is oval shaped! :D
Cary huang is the creator of bfdi
My biggest shock in this is that the largest galaxy is comparable in size to our entire local group of galaxies..... One single galaxy that can almost span across our entire galactic cluster family..... That just blows my mind.
can you share the link of the document here please
12:30 ... keeps on expanding and expanding in all of the directions it can whiz. As fast as it can go, at the speed of light you know, twelve million miles a minute and that's the fastest speed there is. So, remember when you're feeling very small and insecure how amazingly unlikely is your birth, and pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space, 'cause there's buggar-all down here on Earth.
I once played a dnd campaign that took place on a planet the size of the sun, using scaling I figured out that the star in that system was probably Antares
isnt that scary? Even minecraft, the biggest game ever made excluding space engine, Can't even withstand reality?
It's just crazy to me that that something bigger than Neptune "fits" inside of a little tiny computer or phone.
@@unreal1019 what? That's ones and zeroes
@@Jordan_Dossou No shit Sherlock
The universe we cannot see is calculated to be 13 decillion lightyears in diameter, based off the rate of expansion of the universe, its growth acceleration, and its age. There may or may not even be an end... The universe we live in is enormous, and truly fascinating...
The creators of Battle For Dream Island (BFDI) Made this
Credit the channel Carykh
It is run by Cary and Michael Huang, who made Scale of the Universe 2
In the old versions of minecraft, the world generated from -12,500,000 X to 12,500,000X by -12,500,000 z to 12,500,000 z, new iterations go from -30,000,000 to 30,000,000 X znd z. Those are 1 meter blocks.
Where is UV Scuti
Ok thanks 😀
Also it's UY Scuti Not UV Scuti Probably just a typo :D
UY !!! Y!!! UY scuti! (when this came out, UY scuti wasn't discovered)
Before we even knew it
@@caloz.3656 we knew it existed in the 1800's but we found out that it's the biggest recently
lol theres a star named Altair? Awesome!
64000 KM MINCRAFT
It's 64 000 000 x 64 000 000 x 256 blocks (meters), not included the Nether and the End. And it's called MineCraft, kid.
oh sorry i forgot
mince raft
"kid" is not a swear word? no offence? just means young people? look at the dictionary, please, kid.
Please stop arguing over it, it's very childish.
Hey guys, want to cause yourself an existential crisis, then think that the universe expands, but the universe is everything so what is it expanding into, is it just it? that causes the simple human mind to think it has a border so that means its expanding, but what is it expanding into?
A _Universe_
1:14 OMG!! I saw that worm like bacteria once in biology/chemistry class.
We collected some dirty water from a lake nearby to then look at it in a microscope. When it was my turn to look, that thing just slithered by and scared the heck out of me.
Dragon Lady oof
Sirius b..... Sirius b.......... SIRIUS!!!!!! Oh sorry I just have to let my inner Harry Potter sometimes
Yes, he's named after the "dog star". :)
Now you have to do this with Kurzgesagt's version.
Science teacher: As you see here, we have the white dwarf *10 minutes later*
Science teacher: as you see here, we have the Minecraft world, which is as big as venus...
At around @11:00, you mentioned the distance that Andromeda is to the Milky way. I believe what you meant was 2.5 million light years, not just 2.5 light years.
Great videos though man!
This htwins net is by jacknjelify the creator of BFDI
Mindblowing
Cool beans! Thanks for the turn on Anton
The Planck length is the size of the singularities of some black holes
What app do you use for this
I was hoping you mentioned Uluru
Where do you get this app and what is it called? Is it just "The Scale of the Universe 2"?
Yep
weeeee , that was fun
thats wron centouri is 4,2 light zears away from us and here it shows it being less then a light zear
At 9:54 the rosette nebula should have been called the "skull nebula" because it looks like a skull
I used this in science class last year.
When he zooms back in he must need a big mousepad
Crazy how quickly we disappeared from that picture.
Since we are part of the Universe wouldn't that mean that the Universe is trying to learn about and observe itself...
sounds like a teenage boy
Altair... ugh getting Assansins Creed flashbacks XD
