I had the same happen with Ada the robot...o_O. Then I realized one of my other companions were close by in the settlement.

how to finish "with our powers combined" with ease send all your companions to the castle so you'll have a small army of unkillable npc's
Random ness the settlers can’t die anyway from enemies and u can give them better weapons whereas companion npcs switch to their default one
And with automatron, add a bunch of murderbots to the castle. You need to individually have them as a companion than dismiss them to make them essential though

I shot down the the vertibirds before they got to the base all the knight and paladins in power fell in the sea I thought well that was easy then they came running out of the sea in there power armor and I was like shit

Just pure awesome, for once you actually feel like a general. And the radio being announced on the castles loud speaker, awesome. Just put a few sirens and you've got yourself a full on military base
That's what I did, I made fort independence an actual veritable bunker; security bots, regular patrols, high grade turret defenses
I always thought it kinda funny that the Brotherhood lords their Air superiority over every faction in the game, but then how every single vertibird you see can be taken down by 1 or 2 well placed shots from a single rail gun makes them nearly useless in any assault. Seriously brotherhood, lean from modern military doctrines maybe... dont dive head long at a fortified instillation with lightly armored personnel transports. If the institute couldn't take it from me with teleporters, what makes you think your crappier versions of ospreys will help.
The annoying thing about Vertibirds is that they seemingly have only one tactic - circle around a target while the single door gunner fires on it. On the other hand I did manage to loot a sweet bomber jacket/BOS uniform outfit and BOS flight helmet from a dead Vertibird pilot, so they do have their uses.

Im not sure what you mean with your comment. I would think the game with literal radiation monsters and robotic gorillas obviously doesn't scream "realistic". Im not sure why you are being defensive at all actually.

I never use a fatman simply because I KNOW ill blow myself to bits, but damn that Gauss rifle.
I use a two shot six crank laser musket with some rifleman perk which is op for taking down a vertibird in two if u crank it 6 times which each fire

Imagine that the Minutemen raided Boston Airport, and took over the Prydwen. If so, then no settlement will be in need of help, as the Minutemen in Power Armor could just go to raiders' bases in helicopters, holding Gatling lasers.
Unless the maintenance personal was taken captive and force to teach the minuteman how to maintain the Prydwen flying is was very unlikely for the minuteman to take over it.
@@AaronreacherPretty sure Sole Survivor can easily explain how to operate and maintain power armor on their own,get to teach some specialists and then they can teach everyone else without problems
The brother hood would destroy the prydwen if someone was taking it over like in the lost patrol they destroy their power armor so it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands

The inhabitants of the airship also acknowledge that the Prydwen isn't meant for use in combat, which is quite a fine little detail.
@@curtiswong7280 furthermore they idiotically used hydrogen instead of helium. to put the icing on the cake they kept live nuclear bombs in it. it's like they were asking for an accident to happen.
I was able to get BoS as Enemy, and took down the airship, but the Vertibirds never came.

Vertibirds should've been more durable from the get go. I can take a vertibird out with a damn pistol. Also where in hell are they getting the fuel for those fuckers?

sadly yeah. the brotherhood hasn't been known to keep alliances based off of Goodwill, eventually their interest will see them trying to push the Minutemen around using their air superiority and power armor. they will cross a bridge they shouldn't have, with hundreds of Minutemen willing to fight them it'll be a disaster for the brotherhood. not to mention they rely upon you the general of the Minutemen for reactor coolant.

While I love getting different endings in fallout games for role play purposes and out of likes and dislikes, I will most likely go for the "peaceful ending". Where the BOS, Railroad, and Minute men are at peace while the institute is destroyed.
+Dj-Chan i tried that ending but i didnt give the brotherhood that holotape and that scientist didnt want to build the robot, so they started ignoring me (exept danse) so i killed em all in this mision after raiding the pryden!

its possible to destroy both institute and brotherhood, go to prydwen, kill important npc besides maxson or danse, start banished from the institute, defend the castle, blow up the institute, talk to preston after the ending cutscene is finished or you skip, he will say its time to deal with the brotherhood.

I made a save, and did the quest. It was really fun! Good thing I made a save to keep my food supply and get caps from Ingram, Neriah, and Quinlan.
Same here. I did the brotherhood ending and thought why not kill these fuckers. After I finished the battle (lots of fun,gave all the people in the castle better armor/weapons before the fight) I decided to go explore the wreckage, BIG mistake, Liberty prime was still alive and hostile towards me. I bet you can tell how that ended.

What did you use to repair the walls?
I whould like to base my castle on a similar repair design.
I can't remember exactly, but I think I used concrete foundations to patch up the walls. They should snap together nicely. Might take a couple tries to get them lined up properly with the rest of the wall.

Who else completed skyrim and fallout 4 at a really low level
Bob Nappa you can't 'complete' f4 and skyrim at low levels. U can finish the main stories at low levels but you can't complete them at low levels

So if I have maximum relationship with Danse and become an enemy of the Brotherhood of Steel it will have no negative effect on our relationship?
Only taking out generic Brotherhood of Steel members in that specific location didn't have an effect.
That explains why I could only ask Danse to exit his power armor. Well atleast I have a baller coat.
After defeating the Institute with Minutemen, I had to kill the people at Cambridge PD to make the Brotherhood my enemy. Even no-clipping onto the Prydwen and killing Maxson did nothing.
I wish there was a dialogue option or some small quest like Brotherhood raiding one of my settlements for them to become my enemy.

I know it's been a long time since you uploaded this video, but I am going to ask you a question, maybe you have time to answer or perhaps one of your viewers will do so. Here goes...
I am trying to find out how long into the main story line I can play without the Institute becoming hostile and 'banishing' me (because all the factions have a lot of interesting quests within the Institute which can only be done if I am on friendly terms and have free access there).
- Can I do this quest and still be friendly with the Institute? ... Thanks in advance to anybody who replies.
Ik its been five years but if a mission effects a faction it will usually say this will make you enemy’s with the institute
I haven't beaten the main storyline yet so if I turn on the Brotherhood during the middle of their storyline like at Blind Betrayal for example, will I get this quest and then be able to do the Nuclear Option with the Minutemen? ( I have been playing with both factions for now)

When I read the video's title, I was expecting to see a group five teenagers with five special rings to summon a Captain to combat the Nuclear environmental hazards of the Commonwealth.
For many years i didn't know this was a thing.
Using the "we are the minutemen" mod makes this all better

I thought it was kind of funny watching the brotherhood knights fall out of the vehicle. I’m never going to do this mission unless I create an entirely new character because my original character is based off the brotherhood and minutemen as a whole so I have literally no reason to destroy them. Also Preston has glitched himself into the museum of freedom. So that kind of destroys him as a option. Does anyone have a fix for that? After I did the defend the castle from the institute mission after I destroyed the Institute I did not consider that Preston would glitch himself into the museum of freedom.
This is probably the best quest of fallout 4

kelly Whitehead I'm playing a punisher build and I'm sticking with the brotherhood til the ending. And when they ask me to kill danse I can see the punisher being fed up with the BOS and eventually killing them and joining the minutemen. Rarely interacting with the railroad. Destroy institute. And I can really see him siding with the minutemen long term and only with BOS for short term.

Is there a way to do this after killing paladin danse at the Cambridge police station? I can't get past the Brotherhood militia under the airship. I don't even know if there is a way to get to the airship now.

Building one in every settlement is actually pretty great. Artillery bombardment to start off clearing up some raiders or super mutants is fun

Ok so I’ve killed elder maxson and captain Kells but I’m not permanent enemies with the brotherhood, I went with the minutemen ending and destroyed the institute and I’ve even used cheat terminal to be enemies with the brotherhood but still can’t get this quest

The BoS Knights were wearing power armor which allowed them to fall from great heights and still move and brethe while being submerged underwater.

Ever time I team up with danse after the synth quest I become enemies of the brotherhood
I had max charisma when I did that quest, so I kept Danse as a companion and was on friendly terms with the BoS

If you waited and got behind their backs you could have gotten the Minutemen large quantities of power armor by sniping their fusion batteries (Fusion Cores for those who are more specific.
