I think I want to share this wonderful feeling that I found in Fallout 4. Tbh, I played this game for the first time in survival mode, in order to enjoy the fallout's brutal world. I used the multiple follower mod and my journey started from Sanctuary with Piper, Dogmeat and Nick (I didn't use Sentry Codsworth and Ada because I didn't want a game became to easy). I went to the vault 88 to investigate, went to combat zone to see Cait, clear both trinity church and tower and saw Strong. Clear 2 gunner outposts and 1 institute outpost, and finally went to the vault 81 to have a big battle against strong group of raiders. You already know how much damage you are taken in survival mode and I didn't go back to anyway of my settlement to resupply. Started from Sanctuary to Vault 81 in the row and cleared many strong outpost on my way, so I was short on everything supplies. I didn't use my laser rifle cuz I ran out of fusion cell, I was thirsty so I drank every water source available, I was sick multiple times and I didn't have enough medicine to cure. So the last final fight with a group of Raiders in vault 81 was tough as hell, but after I entered vault 81 and realised I could stay there forever. I felt like I found the end of my long tough journey, after the long journey I felt like I found my home, that was really satisfying. so I stayed in vault 81 for ridiculously long amount of time for no reason even though I was damn short in supplies. At the end, I planned a trip to Diamond City to resupply and from there I went back to Sanctuary Hill. Long Journey and home sweet home, never happier to see Sanctuary hill again in my life.

When I gunned down the bos airship the mission froze and the vertiberds weren't spawning

I killed the courser on sight and failed the mission xd

The Bos never sent vertibirds to the castle after I did it

Why are most of the companions so mild about this? Nobody here really likes the institute aside from x6.

Why do I keep getting form ranks after spoils of war, does this interfere with anything?

Let’s say I want to do all endings when do I save? Like where does the game put you when you do the final mission. Can you just load from there and choose to take out the different factions?

I have done this but since 2015 I've decided the BoS and Railroad have to go. It's been years since I let them live. Being Director of the Institute and General of the Minutemen is better for the Commonwealth IMO. Sure it means spending all your time wrangling scientists and settlers but rebuilding civilization with the Railroad and BoS? Not gonna happen. Good video.

loading saves quicksaves doesnt work. waiting, sleeping, fast traveling, nothing works for rinse and repeat method. they must have patched it out. i get 1 like and 1 loved mod, thats it... LAME!

Do we have to do the BOS quest line until liberty reprimed? Can I just not talk to Ingram?

AMELIA IS A SYNTH!! If you side with the doctor and let her kill Amelia, you can loot her body which has synth components . Downside is you have to kill honest Dan 😢

My favorite part was how he thinks turning off the speaker in the Castle has anything to do with the advancement of Settlement quests. *Shocker -> It doesn’t. That switch does nothing but turn off the annoying music in the Castle courtyard. It has no bearing on anything quest related. You’re welcome.

Myself i just downloaded the game since it was in sale in steam for 2 bucks at least with the season pack at 2 dollars so in total 4 bucs , i reunited a team of three level up , gear up and push in to the DZ with them

Um, when I arrive at bunker hill the front gate is locked and there’s a battle between the Courser, BOS, RR, Synths, and Caravaners… I can’t tell who’s shooting who or who’s side I’m on. It’s a mess and I can’t figure out the objectives.

So to this day, the only fix is a mod? Come on Bethesda!

I don’t really understand the point of the synths unless they’re just servants. So for me it’s either BOS or Institute.

my story with this moment was a bigger hit then it normally would be. i first went to the railroad base after doing a bit of the nuka world quests. i went after i did a quest for Nisha, where i had to kill a few railroad guys somewhere. i didn't fire my weapon, so i didn't technically kill them.....but anyway. when i went to the railroad and Des said "a word" like that, i thought to myself "aw shoot, she knows. I'm screwed, she's going to hate me".....then the note.....i think doing this after helping the disciples out with that quest made it hurt more for me......also was the reason i did the open season questline for the nuka world....

I used to think the brotherhood was for the good of everyone, but they are super racist

I build a settlement walk Preston Garvey on to the roof of the building, put him in a stockade and remove access to the roof. Never get hassled again.

This advice, while useful, is limited. Refusing to "Turn in" results from settlement quests to Preston does not not "stop" them, it only delays them. -- a useful respite if you have other things you want to do.

This mission made me realise that war never changes. I felt sad having to kill either faction.

They should’ve given it an option for Hancock to take over diamond city and allow ghouls in again

My final thoughts: The Institute had potential. It was just overrun with corrupt conditioning to believe they were more important & superior to those at the surface. I can see how they could have become extremely beneficial to advancement, but there are flaws in their morals. Everyone thinks they’re the good guys. Even the villains. That’s what I love about this game. It shows you so many parallels to life & human nature. Elites playing God with too much power, An army of bullies overcome by racist hatred, A “radical” underground group freeing slaves that others don’t consider to be human & a group that wants to help the people to live in peace, one that doesn’t tolerate attacks on civilians. Really genius plot here. Incredible work of creating controversial decisions & new ways of thinking.

I'm probably late to the party but another beneficial way to stop raids is to properly arm your settlers and properly have defenses set up and then they win on their own

I would have done this a little different...there are only a few ways inside the walls. Have laser turrets pointing at those entrances not outwards

Followed your guide for the minutemen ending. Got form ranks. So I just skipped to compound before going to settlement and Dan and sided with the doctor and got the settlement. The main actors causing harm are sent off to die with pipe pistols anyway at defend the castle. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Dan never appears.
