The only thing I hate is that you can’t adjust the clutch bite-point on the wheel itself, on the Fanatec one with the display you can see what % it is at and you can use a thumb dial to increase the bite % up or down, with the moza one you have to enter the pithouse and manually set it depending on the car.
I hope they can add that feature later on but so far after 5+ months with my R9 and GS wheel I’m still amazed by the quality and detail.
Also pineapplegrips is currently making a thicker grips without alcantara and others with faux leather. Looking to get one so I don’t have to use gloves.
im not a fan of the fisher price color stickers either, but to be fair look at a lot of irl gt3 and formula steering wheels, they have these primary colours all over the place, audi r8, huracan, nsx, bentley, porsche etc etc

I am currently looking at various different wheels to decide which one I want to buy. Generally the Moza Gs V2 is looking really good for apart from the fact that I cant change what is written on the buttons and can only use the stickers to change the writings next to the buttons but apart from that I love it.
Now my question is whether you can set the band know mode seperate for each rotary switch. I would want two rotarys to act button mode and the others to be in knob mode. Would that be possible? Otherwise I could only run all 5 in knob mode and would lose the quality of the button mode or couldnt use three of the switched which both would be kind of sad.
Hey Danny this wheel review was a great video. Do moza make wheels for playstation or is it just the pc they make for. I definately love this wheel and the point you made about the Fisher price stickers was on point. The wheel would look so much better with stealthier stickers. Nice review as always thanks

@@ploppen3872 thanks thats a shame I can't afford a gaming pc but I would defo love to get a moza set up for it if I ever do get a pc. Ive got a fanatec csl elite for my ps and absoulohtly love the wheel. Its alot better than the thrustmaster t180 I owned. One day I'll get a gaming pc and have a nice set up.

Great vid as always. How are the clutch paddles in terms of input? I think it was Will Ford who said they were a bit "scratchy" if that makes sense, like it wasn't smooth analog input, which honestly put me off a wee bit. Have you noticed any problems with that?
Will did a premature test of a newborn hardware/software, It would be nice if the first reviewers came back to test some time later, I remember that the Fanatec DD2 started very badly, worse than most of the existing brands, and they are still with the same quick release...
Thanks man - regarding the clutch paddles, Will's not exactly wrong if he did say that - the paddles themselves are smooth to pull physically, but the clutch inputs in iRacing at least are not silky smooth, they're a little 'gravelly', certainly not as smooth as the hand clutch on the Fanatec Advanced Paddle Module or Mclaren GT3, but that's never made any impact on any dual clutch standing starts for me. The advantage of having the bite point programmed into the clutch paddle to make starts easier is likely more than enough to make up for it.
Was it difficult to unbolt the gear shifters to be able to install the damper pads? i read over on discord and on other peoples reviews that moza over tighten the gear shifters making it extremely difficult to loosen
They were a little bit stiff, yeah - I would recommend using the tightest tolerance allen keys or hex keys you can get just to avoid any chance of rounding them off, because the supplied tools are probably a little loose on tolerance.
I did it on both my rs and my gs. Yes they are à little bit stiff. But if you do take your time and really push properly the provided tools, it's quite easy

The handle screws needed a nip-up after initially settling
hmmm just got the GS gt v2 i notice the pins on the inside of the quick release differ. Yours is just a straight line of pins, where as mine is a T shape pattern of pins. Wonder why?
That'll be because the unit in this video is the GS V1 and you'll have gotten a GS V2 with added compatibility with newer bases, hence the extra pins. All good!
What's the extra features exactly?
Also I know to change the led colours you press the left and right joy sticks towards the centre of the wheel.. The rev lights flash yellow and you can change the led colours of the buttons. If you press in both joysticks, as if they're buttons, the revs flash purple, but doesn't appear to allow you to do anything, any idea?

How does it compare to the cs wheel with the turn racing rim?
I slightly prefer the ergonomics of the Turn Racing rim because of the thickness and higher hand positioning, but this is fancier overall!

Have you switched to Moza ?
I have switched to Moza, but not because the CSL DD was bad or worse than this, but for 'testing' the Moza thoroughly. I've sold my CSL DD as I feel confident enough in this to do so, and to recoup some costs! Hope that makes sense. CSL DD and R9 are basically twins in many ways.
@@dannyleeracing thanks for the response. I am currently thinking of switching from DD pro to R9 but hesitant. Interested in R9 for quick release, tired of waiting for qr2 and I expect it to be expensive. I think after selling DD pro and 2 wheels it will come out cheaper to go to. Also pithouse looks easier imo. Also been reading that ffb bettee with r9 for stuff like road textures etc. Hesitant because I play everything for ACC to Forza M7 (PC) to GTR2 and moza compatibility list is light atm with tweaks needed for some games they do support.
