The video was spot on. No pg who can handle pressure and manage the distribution of shots, lack of a bench now. It will be very difficult to beat teams like SC, even at home with playing only 6 players due to their fast pace and now they have to guard them and run they off the 3 pt line. I could see them have 2-3 more losses and maybe miss being a top 16 team with that weak schedule.😮 They play MSU, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, TN all on the road and SC next week at home. Those teams pressure and have size . Great show! ❤
First, we miss Alexis, KP, LaDazhia and Carson like crazy and been saying that but they not coming back bro so we gotta move on. We are def hurting from Sa'Myah injury. But we do have a lil bit of relief in ADR. I’m not mad at Angel ISO. She showed up all game so why not give it a try? What I am mad at is Kim constantly “saying” we don’t have a PG. That is actually disrespectful to MK. She is a PG which is where she should be. She’ll make freshman mistakes but in all honesty, she’s a 6ft PG who can play with the best of them. Have the confidence to use her like you recruited her. HVL is not a PG and that’s ok. Put her back where she belongs…(coming off the bench) at the 2 or 3 We are a defensive team. This is why HVL should be coming off the bench imo because everybody can blow right past her. We saw this at UL. There’s something still off with Big 4. She doesn’t pass Angel the ball nowhere near as much as she did last year. Their chemistry on and off the court is noticeably missing and it’s affecting her play and our team. This is one thing I’ve always hated about wbb. Unlike the men, we will take our issues with each other on the court. At the end of the day, AU coach out coached one of the best coaches ever in wbb. No different than Bluder out coaching Dawn Staley in the Final Four last year. It happens. We still have a chance to make this what it was supposed to be last year…An All SEC Championship. That’s why the game against SC is what everyone in wbb is waiting on. Put MK at point and trust her with POA and Velez as backups and Kent playing more even if HVL starts at 2 or 3. We need more Morrow to Reese and Reese to Morrow like we did with Reese and Williams last season. As with Kim Mulkey (and Leon Barmore at Louisiana Tech), I been rocking with LSU since Dale Brown and Sue Gunter and yes Pokie Chatman as well who deserves more but I digress on that for now. I was there when we went to 5 Final Fours in a row and I had never gotten over the last second put back by Hornbuckle (Tennessee) until we finally got the natty last yr which I was there for that too. I’m so freaking proud of us still and trust, if we happen to not win it all this year, the only other team I’m fine with winning is SC because I grew up a hardcore Dawn fan, And right now, Idk a team that can beat them but us when we get it together. So with adjustments, we good!
Maybe exposed because teams watching this game will notice a formula, like guarding HVL tight and playing overly physical with LSU, and use it to beat LSU. Maybe attacking HVL is the key to beating LSU as she may be the weak link, and it is a link teams will exploit going forward. Most teams do just lose. But some teams do lose and exposed.
Expose yea right. You casuals gotta stop. SEC Wbb is underrated alot of there good unranked teams can beat most of the ranked teams. Bt exposed no , off night and better communication on defensive breakdowns yes. It won't be a lot of those with coach mulkey as the head coach.
Yeah I'm still trying to figure out what was so hidden that it got suddenly exposed. They are the most analyzed team in the game I like to know what Auburn exposed 😮
The curious case of Hailey Van Lith. She was holding Louisville back by not sharing the ball consistently with other talented players. On LSU, she should be a spot up shooter off the bench. Her 3pt shooting massively improved... However, the free-throw shooting has suffered with added pressure of being on the Female version of The Heatles. Conclusion: LSU has to ride this out, since they don't trust the And 1 point guard they recruited out of New York.
Great analysis, I agree with everything trying you said. The saying “you’re only strong as your weakest link” couldn’t be any more true right now. If HVL improves they are a final 4 level team. But at the level she’s playing at there’s a risk getting upset in early rounds.
Not necessarily HVL’s fault though 😂 more so the coach not adjusting. Injuries and losing players hurt LSU as well. Samiyah picked up defensively where HVL would get beat off the dribble
Mulkey error of her ways has finally biting her in her azz.Trying to make Van Lith a point guard when she is a 2 guard is ridiculous.Getting rid of Poole was insane.Poa should be the starting point guard and Van Lith 6 man and 2 guard. She also doesn’t play and trust her bench going only 7-8 deep. You need to go 10-11 deep to compete with the top 5 teams
@@maxpower247 Remember, Kansas State lost their rematch against Iowa but won all the other games on their schedule and is currently ranked 7th in the country.
LSU's true capabilities were brought to light; it seems they have been overestimated. The same can be said for Hailey Van Lit. While she was highly regarded during her time at Louisville, I concur with your opinion that she should have chosen to attend Stanford and obtain a master's degree from one of the top five schools in the United States, rather than pursuing a degree from LSU, which is ranked last among Power 5 schools. It appears that Kim consistently criticizes Caitlyn Clark, but in my honest assessment, Iowa's performance this year surpasses that of the previous year. There is much more to come. In conclusion, it seems that a career in the WNBA may not be in the cards for HVL.
Is LSUs education program really at the bottom? That’s tuff. I have to admit I underestimated Iowa. They looked better than I thought they would this year. I think Kim needs to worry about her own team instead of taking jabs at a team in a completely different conference
I don’t want MW to play PG but I know she can. Heck maybe they should take a page from Texas’ book like they’re utilizing Madison Booker as pg in the absence of Harmon. HVL at pg is hurting LSU right now because the learning curve is steeper than I thought it would be for her in addition to her being a liability defensively.
Exposed? In order to be exposed something would have to be hidden. I said at the beginning of the season before the first exhibition game that LSU was going to be a team that either blows you out the gym or run you out the gym and that's still true. LSU is not a three level defensive team and unfortunately they have little chance of becoming that now that they lost Symia and KP. Here are the glaring problems that have never been hidden therefore they don't require exposure. LSU doesn't😢 have a PG that can apply ball pressure, they lost KP who was a strong perimeter defender, their rotation defense is suspect because their coach doesn't want them switching one on one assignments and they have minimal block shot ability at the basket with the loss of Symia. If the coach would institute a full and half court 1-3-1 they could manage on the defensive end because you could place HLV at positions that won't hurt your defense. HVL is a liability on both ends of the floor but she keeps getting the minutes Kim must be trying to prove a point. To win a championship you have to have 3 level defense capabilities so repeating is a non factor for LSU. They have a potent offense with 3 people who should average 20 plus points a game but it's not enough man movement nor ball movement consistently to achieve that scoring potential. If LSU had a different coach who had a different philosophy they'd be championship contenders easily. Mulkey doesn't have the personnel to run her system and she won't change the system to fit her personnel. They have, speed quickness and scoring ability to run with any team but they lack a system to support the offensive or defensive talent. As far as Clark. You can't lose to a champion then claim you doing anything to humble them. So what they lost to Auburn that could happen any given night it doesn't take much to beat LSU. Responding to a true comment and winning a game isn't humbling anybody beat them in a championship game then we can address humbling someone. I have a question do you have any other content other than something that involves LSU people bout sick of hearing about an inferior product. Since they so raggedy to hear you tell it can you maybe 🤔 talk about the virtues of the more spectacular teams out there think the audience would appreciate it I know I would.
HVL just needs to accept herself she´s not a natural PG and that´s ok, even in the U19 from 2019 she looked lost, dribbled way too much and missed windows to pass the ball. She even tried to bring the ball in the Iowa game in one play, Marshall and Clark doubled her and she lost the ball, she´s hesitant to read and react to what the defense gives her
LSU lost due to poor ball movement and a lack of 3pt shooting. Assists in a game comes from ball movement. 3pt shooting creates space. LSU did neither in the Auburn game and became 1 dimensional. Look at teams like South Carolina, Iowa and Colorado they all have high assists and 3pt shooting numbers. LSU isn't playing as a team right now.
Never let a NIL MOGUL TAKE UR LAST SHOT BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHO INFLUENCING THEIR PERFORMANCE IJS NOT SAYING ANY LSU P L AYERS OR COACHES R ENGAGING N PS
Is not chemistry 🤡 its hvl not adjusing to kim mulkey system ..she is not shooting good ... Williams hot and cold .. we are about see who is the weakest link ...ots not reese morrow or Johnson's on a bad day they do double digits
Not a LSU fan and think Mulkey is a despicable human being but winning games on the road in college basketball is the toughest games to win in any sport. Of course I’m sure LSU isn’t playing in front of sold out crowds every night like Iowa because LSU doesn’t have a player like Clark to sell out opposing teams stadiums.

No, we knew beforehand that Reese had a limited number of options on offense. Mulkey looked for an outside-the-box solution and it didn't work out, that's all
I have to disagree. I'm not the biggest Angel fan, but she showed up pretty big for this game, even though she had the turnover. I actually don't blame her for that play call. There was no spacing and it looked like they never practiced that scenario (i.e. Angel ISO at the top). Perhaps if they would have experimented w/ it earlier in the season against the weaker opponents then it would have made more sense and the other players would have known better how they need to play off of that action.
And Stanford would've definitely been a great fit for HVL
And she would have been back on the west coast.

We just didn’t need her but we respected her game. She was not the #1 scout in the portal. Morrow was imo
