We did love miyes for the last two seasons but he hasn't hardly won in the last year, he's out of ideas and uses the same players. He said we was going to bring a young squad through yet 12months on we have the oldest squad in the league and have bought a load of squad players not starters. Paqueta is a luxury, moyes got rid of the luxury players when he come in and we done well, and now we're back to square one

Martin Keown just rapidly shouts out questions to any football fan who he happens to disagree with. As a consequence of not allowing them their right to reply, he somehow deludes himself that he has won the argument.
I was listening to this live, and it annoyed the hell out of me. Firstly, because Martin smugly always does this and secondly, as a Wolves fan who was at Molineux, i wanted to hear the West Ham fan.
When the fan finally got to speak, he was intelligent, balanced and fair (quite representative of hammers fans in general, in my opinion), quite the opposite of Mr Keown.
Yes, not all of us are an 'Arsenal invincible', but to dismiss people and their opinions who have invested in many cases thousands, if not tens of thousands of hours into their clubs including travel, is very arrogant.
Ultimately, a football fan/pundit can have an opinion on any football club. However, a truly educated opinion would most likely come from the balanced supporter of said club, due to the time invested, and intimate knowledge of that clubs workings.
Mr Keown would be wise to shout less, and listen more.

West Ham donât play 4-3-3, like Keown stated, they have played 4-2-3-1 for the past three seasons and itâs clearly, currently not working. I saw Paqueta play twice last season, both times for Lyon and he was quite invisible in both matches, especially in the 3-0 win at their place. I admit that Iâd never heard of Scamacca before we were linked with him. Scamacca, like Haller before him, receives negligible service and has been starved of goal chances. Iâve never been in the âMoyes Outâ camp at West Ham, but the same tired formation and tactics, match after match, are clearly not working and have been worked out by the opposition. Even Blackburn had the better of us in the league cup match before Christmas.

Typical Martin, not answering the question, changing topics to an emotional stance which equates to, players need unwavering support. Those fans are paying likely hundreds of pounds to cross the country to watch a game, they have a right to criticise the performance they see. Blind praise is ridiculous. But Keown seems to want players insulated from criticism, well Iâm sorry, itâs their job, they donât deserve abuse, but everyone in every walk of life is subject to review and critics in their job, players and coaches who get all the benefits of superstardom are not exempt. West Ham don't play 4 3 3, they play 5 2 3 so that's wrong Martin. We've won 5 in 12 months, worst run in decades, so our manager must be doing something wrong surely? We have 15 points fom 19 and are at the bottom of the league. Apart from last year's Europa Cup run, we have been stagnaingt since last Jan and so have most of our players.
