I did one of my college papers on standardized testing and how it's made it so much harder for teachers to teach the real lessons we need versus teaching the test (not teachers fault at all before anyone jumps at me lol)... My main point circled around my 5 the grade teacher and how amazing he was. He taught outside the "box." He would bring his guitar to class and make the lessons a song. I don't remember a SINGLE teacher from elementary school aside from him. Still to this day I remember his songs. (Latitude is very nice, but it's no good alone. A sailor must have longitude to find his way back homeeeee. ). His wife would make every one of his graduating 5th grade class Mississippi mud pie to celebrate). He retired after 40 years of teaching.
I didn't just tear up I was actually sobbing and I didn't even know this woman. She must have been an amazing teacher!
Same here!!! Just wonderful to see something so heartfelt in this world.
Me too. Bless her
Many teachers are great!
What a sweet moment. Her class evidently really liked her.
See!!!!! 👀👀 To all you ppl out there who don't appreciate and respect our teachers... they make a big difference in the lives of our children!! They are angels in the flesh!!! Thank you for your service! 😁😁👍✌️💫🎉🎉
This literally made me cry!! That feeling when your students still remember you.
Not students, that’s her “kids”, she was there during the initial stage of their academic career. She’s essentially their “Academic Parent” and for her to see her “babies” all grown up and doing well had to be a hard pull at the heart strings for her.
And for her to remember you. Sounds like name and all.
More like the other way around you usually only have 1 kindergarden teacher and even if you have many teachers you will remember them but teachers have so many many students to remember
I'm crying also
This made me cry too
Now this is just beautiful. Just onions everywhere.
Same! Damn onions! ❤
Now She's A Teacher That Had An Awesome IMPACT On Her Students!!!
Thank you, Ms. Mama teacher, for a job well done. God bless the teachers. Amen
I love teacher's tirelessly teaching with passion and vocation; I think that they are underpaid for the work they do.
Beautiful surprise. Love her reaction to her last class graduation. What a special honor to surprise her. Memories forever.

This one is a great story! Teachers don’t get paid enough! They really are the ones shapes our kids along with the parents. I raised my children and grandchildren. The older ones still see their elem teachers! ❤
