  • eloise bridgerton might be my most favorite character from the show. her outspoken nature and individuality made her to be one of the most relatable personalities. it’s not a surprise if people find themselves wanting her to be in a relationship with someone who understands her wholebeing, as she frequently express her distaste for unprogressive minds. her relationship with theo sharpe is every bookworm’s dream, to find a like minded individual, whom she can share thoughts and ideas with.

When I saw them sharing the screen for the first time I knew they should be the endgame. I was obsessed with this ship and still I am. It infuriates me that people want to follow the books. I'm manifesting theo and eloise end up together.
Philip and Eloise should not be the endgame like come on eloise wouldn't like to be a step mom and her life would be come more boring. Plus in the series I don't think eloise and Maria are enough close to each other for eloise to send condolences.

Maybe they follow the books but switch Benedict’s & Eloise’s storyline… Benedict falling for a widow helping her with the children (in the series he was painted multiple times being attracted to independent women & being close with the youngest siblings) whilst Eloise started a storyline with a person whose status is low

Kanthony wasn't etl, they were idiots to lovers, lol. But anyway, not only was Theo created for the show specifically for Eloise, he was tailor-made to be a perfect match for her in every possible way. "Except" social class, which makes them an example of the classic (but not often used) forbidden romance trope, "princess & pauper" (or as you said, "rich and poor"), in the vein of Jasmine/Aladdin, Rose/Jack, Anastasia/Dimitri, etc.
The closest to this in the Bridgerverse is [**possible spoilers for upcoming seasons**] Benedict's (book) romance--a take on "Cinderella". But not only are "Cinderella" iterations about a dime a dozen (love them, but they're common as hell), 1) his wife, while illegitimate, is still connected by blood to nobility, and 2) it wasn't AS big a deal for a man to marry a much lower status woman, as the reverse. So endgame Theloise would REALLY be a radical way to go, and a completely different type of match from all her siblings.

This would be a great idea for a storyline! Theo and Louise really could change the minds of the ton by getting married as Eloise has already established a relationship with the Queen and she is the key really.

Eloise and Theo have so much potential for an amazing love story and season! Hopefully the writers would realize that, especially when Eloise’s book is the worst out of all the siblings. 🤞🏼

I hope they will kind of swap Benedict’s & Eloise’s story line… Benedict is very close with the smaller siblings, playful, won’t miss a card game… and he feels attracted to independent strong women (widow)… so I can see him end up with a king of cold hearted widow helping her with the children … whilst Eloise might be searching Theo (a low social status partner)… I would love it

@@Mieze0503 I'm not going to lie to you, I also thought that exchanging storylines between Eloise and Benedict would make sense because of their personalities. I wouldn't mind if they did it but I also think it would be interesting to see the difference between Sophie (a woman ending up with someone from high society) and Eloise (a woman ending up with someone from the working class). Both scenarios would be controversial for the ton but I think we know which would be more criticized.

The secret letters she is writing to someone from the book could be changed from Sir Philip to Theo. It would make more sense. She’s very secretive about her letter writing, with this plotline she’d have a reason to be.

      @furanvalley Před 17 dny +1

I was thinking, they could connect this to the letter Theo sent her in s2. Perhaps she doesn't recognize his calligraphy at first, so she is convinced she's talking with someone else (sir Philips?) but, in reality, it was Theo all along (I hate being this delusional but I love them together so much)

@@furanvalley Sir Philip just doesn’t make sense at all for Eloise in the show. He barely made sense for her in the novels. Sir Philip really seems like he’s just looking for a woman who will have sex with him regularly and take care of his children so he doesn’t have to. How could that possibly make show Eloise happy? It’s supposed to be a show about love stories.

Don’t know if you noticed but during the assembly scene there’s a banner between Eloise and Theo that says ‘united as one against the oppression of all’ so if I don’t get more scenes of them fighting for equality in the future I’m going to sue Netflix 😂

I loved Eloise and Phillips story the most.
He was such a good match for her.
She is intelligent and would not be happy with someone from a lower class who would naturally not be university educated.
Phillip with his scientific brain would be much more interesting to Eloise.
She might befriend the working class chap, even have a little fling, but not dream of making him her partner.
Where would she move in society with him?
They would have to move to Canada or Australia and leave all per privileged life behind.
With Phillip and his title she can go to the ton easily and be a part of her family societal activities. Or be aloof from it which is her wont.
She values brain above the useless activities of the elite, but I do believe she would be too bound to the family to go against her place in society.
She is close to Benedict who is more of a thinker and doer than Colin who travels and eats.
We see that Benedict is an artist , Colin will be an author Phillip is a botanist this is where she fits.

@@aussiemiss1442 Did you watch the show? Theo is very educated for someone of a lower class which is why Eloise continued risking her reputation to see him, Eloise isn’t just interested in educated people. We see multiple times throughout the show she doesn’t care about Colin’s travels, they “bore” her, Lord Morrison is another intellectual she doesn’t care about.
Eloise cares about women’s rights, not plants, and needs some to keep up with her quick wit (which Theo does), not make terrible plant puns. They wouldn’t have to move to Canada or Australia- it’s a fictional show that solved racism with one marriage, they’ll make it work

@@aussiemiss1442 "She is intelligent and would not be happy with someone from a lower class who would naturally not be university educated." This is kind of a snobby comment. It's clear Theo is educated, even if he had to get that education by other means (as is the case with Eloise, who also doesn't have access to a university education), is a writer, and is able to debate Eloise on her own level.
Eloise has never cared much for society, and I'm sure she'd still see her family. Her mother in the books said that she would be happy if her children married paupers if they were hard-working paupers (I know this is the show, but it would be great for Violet to say that).
I would also love for Eloise and Lady Mary to discuss this, as it's something she has done, and, although there were some hard aspects (mostly after his death) because of her parents' disowning her and her not receiving any settlement from them. I think all of the Bridgerton children had some kind of settlement and I can't see the family disowning Eloise for marrying someone poor. We also know that Eloise said in season one she was working on a novel.
I also hate how Phillip treats her in the book, even towards the end when he has supposedly gotten it together, he is still terrible.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love them! They have been reigning over my heart since I watched season two for the first time. If Shona Rhimes and the creators of Bridgerton introduced Theo only to be taken away, then I think they made a huge mistake. They could have introduced a more flawed character instead of Theo because he's brilliant in every way and a perfect match for Eloise. Theo and Eloise's relationship can be passionate, compatible and healthy. They can be each other's biggest support systems. If Eloise chooses to be with Theo, it'll a perfect embodiment of her revolutionary spirit and independent nature.
