I loved them too, and I wish they were together in the end. But I'm sure it would be a big disappointment to many people who read the books, they would be very upset. I'm at the beginning of Eloíse's book and I liked her pair of books too.

@@Danny-vg6wn the ones that read her book are split fairly 50/50 on this. Some found her book great and want the show to be like her book. Other's found it dissapointing and a disregard of her character and think this pairing would develop her character in a better way.

@@Hannah-vt7lc but the interesting thing is that is that is probably the book or storyline that is more dividing among the book readers, may of us didnt like that she ended up with that guy in the middle of nowhere with kids and all. Even if the book gives you a nice story and sir philip loves her and wtv, it feels a strange ending for Eloise
I really like Theo haven’t read the books for Bridgerton. Loved this Taylor Swift for them Eloise is, so cute around Theo and, clearly excited to have intellectual conversations!! Their witty banter was a pleasant surprise for her character, I really like these two

The reason I started watching this series is because of eloise. She is just perfect and i hope she finds her perfect love. That would be an amazing ending. ❤

I enjoyed this edit. It sums Eloise and Theo’s relationship nicely. I really hope he returns to season 3 which seems to be about Eloise! 🤞Sir Philip is too boring and stifling for her. Theo would do more for her character development and happiness, plus be more interesting.

Theo should be on Season 3 (even though Eloise with definitely be the second wife of Philip and stepmom of Marina's kids according to the books)
It would be okay if they don't end up together because not all love stories end with a happy ending.
Even Julia Quinn said it herself that it was more of an "intellectual awakening and less of a romance".
I like her character but sometimes Eloise's personality on the show is a bit self-absorbed when she's supposed to feel 'trapped' in her lifestyle. If the filmmakers add more scenes with Theo, then that will give her character development: She will realize that there are more people below her upper class status who are also suffering and she's actually privileged.
I haven't read the books yet... I think I'll wait until after the show is finished. I like being surprised
