@@janemoar5168 I like book 3 because of how cheesy romantic it got. No major spoilers if you don't want, but the initial premise is that Benedict's story is a Cinderella story. I also enjoyed the female romantic interest in the book, I found her to be kind of crafty and bold. Bold for the time period that is. So, if they keep that character as his love interest I would be interested to see if they make her bolder and more strong headed.

This actor is absolutely perfect for the character, the way he plays it, is exactly how I imagined Benedict in Julia Quinn’s books. Really looking forward to his season since it’s one of my favorite books in the series. Hopefully Sophie’s character will be played as perfect as Luke Thompson is for Benedict!! And let’s be for real.. Anthony didn’t catch my eye in season one but boy oh boy in season two… I’m in love with a gay man. Image how smitten we’ll all be over Benny boy!!

I have a feeling that Sophie would be a stephen, they said the show would not following the books 100% and since there is no gay caracter in season 1 and 2 there has to be in the next seasons he is the best candidate for that in every new show is at least one even when the book is completely different. I also agree that most of us didn't fall for Anthony until Season 2, when he blew Simon out of the water. As much as I enjoyed Simon in Season 1, I never missed him in Season 2.

I always thought he was the most handsome and charming brother since season 1. His character's jovial disposition in the series is how they describe Colin's personality in the books. But I'm not complaining. Cannot wait for Benedict's season. I'm hoping they continue in order of the books.

It’s cause they imparted all of book Colin’s charm and humor into Benedict’s character in the show. I agree with you. I loved Colin in the books, but Benedict in the show is fantastic, which is saying something since I find show Colin a bore and book Benedict a brute.
