@@camilulaolguin well Marina didn't commit suicide like in the bks so maybe she'll stay alive at least for her child. Theo & Eloise is the first couple I am actually interested in ahead of schedule. I didn't see that one coming at all. I have to wonder how that would work if they continue that relationship. Can he marry up? Or is he too commoner and society would label Eloise as marrying down? Her dowry alone (if Anthony can be convinced to approve this union) could end up making them land solidly middle class financially at the least and as in everything the Queen has the final say. I hardly think Eloise would care what society wants of her but society will certainly make things difficult for a union like this.
Nth new, they did it with anthony and the opera singer, this will be the same. They also made philip in season 2 again looking not happy. Even if how the couples got together being change here and there, they wont change the MAIN couples, if they change it why bother to adapt the book? Julia Quinn obviously already agreed to have some changes but definitely not her MAIN couples. She created them, why would she agreed her main characters to be with other ppl.
It's shocking and unexpected that Theloise overshadows some other couples in the show. Theo only appears less than 10 minutes in total and him and Eloise barely touch each other. I'm sure Netflix is also in shock of how massive Theloise shippers are. Haha. Eat that.
Yeah, it’s amazing that even with a limited screentime and zero promotion they managed to captivate so many people and are huge now! Also Theo’s actor was never promoted by Netflix and yet he is gaining so many followers rn

@@enjie3061 yes omg I agree with you, this isn't a Sienna and Anthony type of situation at all in my opinion because I feel like those two had more of a sexual/ physical connection while Theo and Eloise have a much deeper emotional connection, and so much chemistry, its like they are soulmates literally! Also to add to my point, Anthony never really wanted to marry someone in season 1 and just sleep with the lady, they were never serious while Eloise and Theo have a connection that actually means something and they have potential. I feel like the writers brought him in, however they didn't realize literally how perfect this match is for her, like I would hate for them to use him just so she can end up with Phillip 😖

I haven't read the books, but I think delving eloise into a relationship with someone who is a class beneath her, would fit her character ig. But also Eloise and Theo, just seem to be made for one another. Their chemistry was really good throughout this season, and I hope we get to see this blossom throughout the next ones.
Theo doesn't exist in the books unfortunately, but I hope the show writers continue their storyline for sure!

Introducting Theo into Eloise's story makes sense. Her character throughout seems to buck society and its traditions but, when faced with her own feelings and his, Eloise finds herself still bound by them. She was too scared of losing her place in high society to act on her feelings and kiss Theo lest she be "ruined" and bring scandal on her family. She's a rebel in words, but not actions - at least not yet.

Phillip Crane’s storyline actually goes deeper than what is currently shown in the show adaptation. Hopefully by Eloise’s season, they delve more into Phillip’s backstory.

it would be a horrible mistake to not make them endgame in the series. i know that it isnt that way in the books but come on ! eloise is the perfect representation of what it meant to be a woman in those times and how she still fights for her own life. she said it herself that she is capable of something more even when she's not allowed anything else. i cant imagine bringing down her strong persona by following the threads of the books series. I would want to see something different for her. something a little more inspiring which is what is see from theo and eloise.

Their chemistry is so incredible, I honestly was looking way more forward to their scenes and their moments, than the main couple of the season. I really think Theo will be perfect for Eloise, they’ll live a life fighting for injustices together and she won’t just be another housewife or mother. I imagine them being the kind of couple who won’t even marry because they don’t think it’s necessary to submit to those kind of societal rules.

Eloise and Theo is perfect. I didn’t read the book but as a viewer of the series, I just don’t get Sir Phillp in the series and how will he be good for our Eloise. Eloise’s character is quite different from the book and it is only fair to find a more suitable character for her in the series. Eloise is very opinionated to the higher class, I just don’t see her marrying a higher class man when there is a man, Theo who matches her thoughts and attitude so perfectly. Plus, the vibe and looks of Sir Phillp in the series doesn’t scream “male lead” to me.

I liked the change from the books for Eloise's character and storyline. Eloise is one of the main reasons I started watching Bridgerton, I love how brutally honest she is, how eloquent she is and how caring of her family & friends. I also love her sense of humour and sharp wit.
Then they introduced Theo Sharpe in season 2 , I instantly loved his character and loved his directness and humour too. 💯👌🏻
I loved Eloise and Theo's interactions so much, he is not afraid to be honest with her and challenge her to broaden her perspective. I know that Theo omitted at first about Lady W but he did it with the intention of protecting her because he knew she was "watching" and indeed she was.

From a very beginning Eloise doesn't want to fell in love with a gentleman, so I think Theo character is much more make sense to be someone that Eloise fell in love with.
I heard that Theo was never in the book. Could it be possible that the production team is testing this couple in replacing the ever so controversial relationship in the book?
It will be interesting to see how they would tell the story of Eliose, a strong, independent, intelligent woman who lived in the 18th century.
I hope they give this character an endgame that she truly deserves.

Okay... I need Eloise and Theo to be endgame, they have amazing potential for a love story, so much more than her book love interest. I really hope Netflix brings Theo back, I like him more than Simon and Anthony
I really want them to be together (doesn’t mean must be marriage), but if it must be an end game I wish Eloise can get what she want (no matter love or ideal) when the show ends.
In my opinion I have read the book about 3 times and I have to say that Sir Philips is a very loyal and kind character but he does not compare to Theo, Theo and Eloise have an amazing chemistry that is inexplicable, it is something that I did not find with Sir Philips and Eloise, it is as if they were destined to be just friends, it would be incredible to see how they establish a relationship and Eloise agrees to marry but at the moment of saying I accept she remembers Theo and her whole story and runs from the altar to where she is theo, it would be as the song describes it; hopeless romantics.
I dont like that sir philip, who happens to be marina's husband, will be eloise's love match! I just dont imagined her story to be something like a replacement to a dead wife. I believe she deserve a love that she can say her own! A man who has never loved and lost or grieved of another woman but her! I mean, isnt that the love the eloise's tried to find? The love that she preserved herself to one day find? A soul that has no burden of other love or obligation or whateva but just madly and deeply inlove with only her and her alone? Theo, who do not live in a high society could be more deserving for her love than sir philip ever be. No matter how, juicy or catchy they try to make it look or feel like, I know at the back of my head and in the depths of my soul, I know Eloise deserve more than just a wife replacement. She deserve a story that does not compare her to another. That when the love is told, one wouldnt think of any woman involve but her.
Well this is just my sentiments and I 'll leave it here to know if we both feel the same.
Netflix you need to make these two endgame bc Eloise deserves to be with someone who listens to her and enjoys her company unlike Philip in the book... Change Her Story !
