I've got a 2020 850XT and I'm doing a very similar set-up! I just downloaded my motorsports addicts 91octane tune to my pv3 so it's ready to be flashed into the machine. I am still waiting on the exhaust to show up. I went with the blacked out slip-on HMF Titan QS system. I wanted the performance out of an aftermarket exhaust but still wanted it as quiet as it can be. I am excited for the end product. I also to them that i wanted the throttle to be aggressive but smoother (less glitchy/finicky) than it is from thee factory!

Sounds great! I actually just dropped off my 2021 outlander xmr 1000 at the dealership to have my hmf blacked out full exhaust installed. I can't wait to get it back. I also got a file tune from rvs performance for the exhaust already downloaded onto my dynojet pv3.
Cool! Yeah you will really like it with the tune and exhaust. I put on a tune from Motorsports Addicts on mine right after putting on the HMF exhaust. Its so fun to drive now, Kind of like a giant dirtbike Lol

@@ryanseekins5029 No mine doesn't backfire at all. Im just running the slip on hmf exhaust and tune. Im not running a full exhaust. You should message MSA and see if they can help you out.

The one that comes with the PV3 for the 2021 850XMR is for stock exhaust, Dynojet doesn't have a tune for it with a slip on exhaust yet that im aware of. Adding the slip on exhaust is the main reason I went with a tune from Motorsports Addicts and they did a Awesome job with the tune and even helped fine tune it to my personal tastes as well! Highly recommended.

Does it void the warranty or anything I’m wanting a hmf performance series and it said I need a tune and my dad said it would probably void the warranty
Most likely, but the standard warranty is only 6 months anyway. I have the Dynojet Power Vision 3 and a custom MSA tune on mine and it runs great.

Louder than the stock exhaust you mean? Yeah for sure, i can hear it about 1/2 mile away for sure. Its a nice sound and almost too loud for constant trail riding but not quite.

Hi, no i haven't had any problems with that at all.
@@Temptation_Offroad thank you for getting back to me.. someone told me when you change the standard exhaust to a sports exhaust the 02 oxygen sensor on the exhaust comes up because you took the back pressure away but if you say yours has been ok I have to do this mod one more question did you feel any power difference as the standard exhaust is so restricted was there any difference in rpm limiter or speed. Thank you
@@georgemadness3233 I did the Dynojet PowerVision 3 with a Motorsports Addicts tune at the same time as my exhaust so the tune increased rpm limiter as well as removed the top speed limiter. So before my top stock speed was 65 now its 82mph.
Very nice dose it get there alot faster now as well. On that tuner is there any wires that go to the exhaust sensor

Wildlife loves my loud pipes too because then they dont run in front of me flying down the trails🤣😂.... My neighbors though......... probably not so much, pretty sure they hate loud exhausts. 🤟🏻🤷🏼♂️ Oh well

@@carlosgonzalez-kh8gm If you buy an aftermarket exhaust it is reccommended to buy the Dynojet PowerVision 3 programmer as well so the bike will not run as lean. From there you can use a tune from the Dynojet website or get a custom tune emailed to you from Motorsports Addicts which really wakes this bike up. If you get a tune from Motorsports Addicts ask for the "Agressive Tune" and then thank me later😉😎.
How much louder compared to a can-am yoshimura exhaust?
Not sure, I've never heard a Yoshi in person... No one else has CanAm's where im at.

@@MrTylerg506 Yeah, if im going on long rides i usualy put in some good noise cancelling earbuds or actual earplugs because its just a little too loud for listening to all day long. It does sound awesome though. Let me know how the difference is with quiet cores vs without.
