".... that's racing."
Long live Montoya.
JHM HTH T
You closed the door like a torpedo
@Les Voitures Ont La Parole torpedo? From outside? Just trash talking
He said " it's " you can't even quote
Honestly, what are we doing? Racing or PING PONG? 😂
“Oh no he didn’t see me there!”
*Bwoah, No chance*
Just imagine Hamilton these days if he was in Montoya's place. He would be crying over the radio.
I'm amazed I actually got infront of him a little bit when we were braking -
*BWOAH*
When Montoya crashed into a Ferrari he didn't say anything

Montoya is way underrated! his battles with Michael were amazing
Yeah he's probably in my top 5 driver list to not win world title
Everyone's underrated, get over it.
Interlagos, outside of turn 1. Class.
Montoya is overrated, i would say Mika is underrated
@@runninginthe90s75 mika is a two time F1 world champion, everybody talks about his battles with Michael,he clearly isn't underrated, great driver nonetheless

They make sure to include the press conference everytime this incident comes up.
because it's absolute gold
And why wouldn't they? It's a great F1 incident, especially when the driving an their reactions are considered together.
@@procatprocat9647 because he is a ferrari fan so most likely a schumacher fan
@@folkert2938Montoya got the respect he gave, he was the victim of his own bad attitude. Schumacher had already proven against Hakkinen and would again later against Alonso that respect could be given by Schumacher as long as it was mutual.
@@-BuddyGuy I know, I was just giving an possible explanation for why he reacted that way.

Montoya didn't care if you were Marc Gené or Michael Schumacher. He was coming for you soul.
Absolute beast he was! A absolute pleasure to watch him in any series he raced!!
This is why Montoya was my favourite driver when I was little, he was exciting and aggressive on the track and off the track he didn't play the "Schumacher can do no wrong" game. His brutally honest answers were fantastic haha. I love that this video has all of those elements within it.
No one played such a game you mentioned, there wasn't such an idea that Michael can't do nothing wrong.
Back then Schumacher was the most hated F1 driver among the fans and media.
@@sam-nariman6236 first of all, he's always been F1s starboy way before Hamilton was.
Second of all, Michael deserved all the hate he got and then some, he was one of the most careless drivers ever. He would not care if he caused crashes to not let you get ahead cause he didn't care about anyone's safety
JUAN PABLO MONTOYA WAS MY FAVOURITE DRIVER ..ALLWAYS AT AGE, NO FEAR, FIGHT,FIGHT,FIGHT...MONTOYA KING DRIVER!!!
1 week from now,
Lewis : "I thought he wasn't there anymore"
Max : "He forgot to look I guess"
I read those lines in their respective voices😂😂😂
And Max gets a penalty.
after Austria 19, feels like something max would do rather than Lewis. heck, he'll bang wheels. thats racing
Hamilton is a significantly cleaner and fairer seven time world champion than Schumacher.
max is the new montoya lol
Smart from Jenson to not get himself involved here :D

he was 24 years old at that time
The media would be all over him later on in that season thanks to his contract dispute

It's the timing
Montoya is one of my all time favourite Williams drivers. He was unbelievable on his day
That post race press conference was sick 🤣😂 all three of them
We need more Montoya's in F1. Not only for driving, the behaviour and the "sharp tongue" too.
Montoya a unique pilot, inside the circuit and in the press round
Montoya was the most aggressive driver back then, similiar to Max few years back. He can pull stunning mavunoever in Spa that most drivers never able to do that. But at the end , it's backfire when he hit his team mate Ralf few times.
Childhood memories goes VROOM VROOM... 🏎

Foi roubado em 2003; a ferrari deu um jeito... Proibiu os pneus da michellin
"But you know, it's racing." Such a chill guy
That's the difference between Montoya and most current drivers. Montoya was mad about it and made his point, but he didn't go "wah it's not fair, give him penalty, I'm telling the stewards", he spoke his mind but took it on the chin with grace.
Having this long break has made me even more hyped for the race!
MGHM
I am disappointed, that they decided to take such a long break. After the last race, they should have had a race after 1 week. I'm worried Merc, has figured out their issues by now. 🙁
@@nitink.a567 this is my biggest nightmare. What if that Merc is just as fast as last season but unstable and they have rectified it

@@Warlock2212 Its mostly the PoV. With the safety halo the camera sits higher than in the past years. The higher you are from the ground, less speed is perceived. Emphasis on 'perceived' because in reality both cars would be going really really fast.

An amazing battle between two amazing drivers
How so.. it was only amazing on the part of Montoya,,, if he didnt move out of track , Michael would have crashed into him
@@johnhonai258 I really like to laugh with some of Montoya's fans, and there were a lot of those among my friends. So, they all rejoiced when Montoya fought very hard with Schumacher but whenever Schumacher answered Montoya with the same trick, complaints and tears of Juan Pablo's fans began. Nothing changed:))
How is that an amazing battle? It's one person performing a clean overtake on the outside and the other trying to cause an accident by going into him
If it wasn’t for Montoya , I would have not gotten up so early on a Sunday
Montoya spectacularly did some risky stuff!
Montoya was in a Multiplayer lobby...beautiful mad man!!❤ He didn't give AF!
The real rivalty.... Kings !
Finally see full interview, thanks a lot!
Montoya wasn't in awe but in 2004 he was an incredible Ferrari. Michael dominated from start to finish with 13 out of 17 grand prix wins and a record one-year success rate.
Seb matched that record in 2013 right?
@@ar-2284 Yes, but Seb with 19 races and the percentage is lower even if he has achieved the record of 9 victories in a row
But one year prior, Kimi almost beat him in a year old donkey of a car, whilst Schumacher began the year in the all conquering F2002 and then got an EVEN FASTER version of that later on in the year. I geniunely think if you put Montoya, Raikkonen, Alonso or Hamilton in that car they would match his records. Michael is definetly a world class driver, but he isn't some mythical driver who can break the laws of physics.
Mood: Waiting for Montoya’s son to get in F1
He's aggressive too
Meeeee toooooo nowwwe pleaseee, hopefully
That will be soon, now he’s in F2
@@BrianBustos182 Well , he is currently in FRE. He debuted in the dutch go last week doing a hulkenberg character... But it's supposed that next year will be in F3
I love that Montoya was correcting everything a massive slide out of the previous corner was still able to try his luck around the outside. A slide like that these days means at least another lap behind or even end of any hope of overtaking.

Montoya is underrated af
Anyone who watched him knows he's the best driver not to win a title this 21st century. He just came up against absolute Prime Raikkonen, which made him look way slower than he was. Similar to Albon/Gasly vs Max.
I mean Montoya was pretty brave to yeet it outside and hope for the best

Montoya: Complains about Schumacher running him off the track.
Also Montoya: Runs Schumacher off the track 3 seconds later.
Well times were better and racing way more harder back then.
@Yuri DeKhed wow. You are opening two very different cans here. First of all we are talking about a situation with Schumacher Montoya that is way more comparable to Verstappen/Hamilton at the start. And where Hamilton should have yield as Montoya should have. They both paid for not doing so. You know, its called racing.
And Bottas Russell is totally on Russell. How should Bottas be the one to blame when he leaves plenty of space and doesnt lose control of his car. Your cross comparison between Schumacher/Montoya and Bottas/Russell make no sense at all. When you want to discuss then do it with actual knowledge and not half knowledge that feels clever.
Michael assumed that Montoya had yielded and gave up the move, lol. Don't sleep on Montoya.
more like Montoya assumed Michael would just let him by. Don't assume you own a corner when dueling with Michael

2004 and 2006 best San Marino Imola GP
1:54 the look on schumacher's face... "what an idiot, trying to go around the outside me. Where did you think you'll end up" 😅
Idk why Michael felt the need to lie. It was Juan’s job to back out. If the driver on the inside is ahead at corner exit, it is the duty of the driver on the outside to back out or take evasive action to avoid a collision.
Lie? He didn’t expect Montoya on the outside anymore and didn’t look. U can see it on the onboard that he got surprised when they hit each other on the exit
@@Clocala Michael definitely saw him lol

Such a powerful bmw, it was pretty a head of the ferraris and McLaren and a little bit more ppwerful than bar honda
This rivality ended in Brazil Montoya won the race and Schumacher the championship,Montoya went to McLaren and Renault got powerful so Schumacher started a battle vs Alonso that was won by Alonso 2 times
What a driver was Pablo Montoya!!!
That was so crazy, going around the outside.
It sums up Montoya perfectly : trying unusual overtakes on track and smashing Schumacher verbally off track 😅
But who smashed him on the track?

I really miss JPM. The firs driver i ever rooting for. Mostly cause my first seasin watch f1 full is 2003
WoW Nice vidéo
I'm a Montoya fan, but there was nothing wrong with Schumacher's driving there. Driver on the racing line has the right to stay on the racing line, even if it means running the other driver off the road. Perhaps not very gentlemanly, but this was racing, not tiddlywinks in the school playground and back in those days racing was racing, unlike today's shambles where the slightest bit of aggression results in a penalty.
I'm still conflicted. As a Kimi fan, I couldn't really care who comes out on top, but where is the line between hard and fair? In my eyes, if the 'incident' at Indianapolis the previous year was a penalty, this one is as well.
You can't run someone off a track. Particularly when this could cause an accident or injury.
Had Montoya not given way they would of clashed all together. Yet for that he got sent into the green.
Schumacher was very polite in that press conference. How to keep the calm when someone cries out
