Hey ya'll! Today on my channel we are reacting to . Enjoy
Hey guys, it's Charlotte Dobre here, and in today's video, we're going to talk about people who are in lost in delulu land. It's human nature to avoid facing difficult truths, but sometimes people take denial to a whole new level.
In this video, we'll explore some of the most shocking and entertaining examples of people who are in denial. From the person who insists they're not addicted to drugs, despite all evidence to the contrary, to the individual who refuses to accept that their partner is cheating on them, we'll see how people can create their own alternate realities to avoid facing the truth.
We'll also take a look at the psychology of denial, why people do it, and how it can negatively impact their lives and the lives of those around them. It's a fascinating and complex topic, and we'll explore it from all angles.
So, get ready to dive into the world of denial and prepare to be amazed. And as always, don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more videos like this one. Thanks for watching!

I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. That's really frightening that it seems like those two people feel even more entitled to keep harassing a woman who is deaf than a hearing woman. Like they feel they have even more right to exploit her.

Pro tip: if a guy is harassing you, don’t pretend to be deaf or like you can’t speak whatever language they’re speaking to you in. They’ll see it as a green flag and that you won’t be able to do much against them. Instead, pretend to be absolutely batshit crazy. They’ll leave you alone if they think you’re looney toons. Learned from experience. Acting like a basket case has never failed to get them to leave me alone.

I think the problem with the 90's Cosmo magazine girl is that she's trying to lump 50% of the population under the same umbrella. I'm sure the men that SHE has dated loved her pink nails and accessories (and that makes sense, given it would appear that she enjoys them too, and those men were dating her specifically), but you're pretty much guaranteed to be wrong any time that you say "100% of X group likes/dislikes Y thing". 🤷🏼‍♀ My boyfriend can't stand lip gloss or perfume, doesn't give a flying fuck about purses or painted nails, and has expressed to me that he actually finds me more attractive in, like... athletic wear and cargo pants than anything that would classify as traditionally "girly".

FR a Cosmo 90s vibe. I lived that era and prior. There's an old sitcom "Just Shoot Me" profiling the doings of a women's "fashion mag" of that period. It starred David Spade among others. As a HoH woman it doesn't surprise me at all that those men became more interested when they thought she was deaf- that's actually a dangerous tactic to use on harassers and I wouldn't recommend trying it. • @Freya778
      @Freya778 Před 11 měsíci +12

It is not just an abusive thing though. Men (and other genders as well) can subconsciously be attracted to a people with disabilities because it triggers the "saving the damsel in distress" thing inside of them.
A lot of people like to be strong or perceived as strong, want to be the hero and want to be (seen as) the provider for someone else.
A person with a disability can provide more opportunity for helping so they can attract people that either like to help out of the kindness of their hearts or people that like to help because that makes them feel stronger and more able in comparison.
Also, it could be less scary to approach someone with a disability. A lot of people can feel insecure about themselves and seeing that another person is just as imperfect as them, can take of the pressure a bit.

They’d probably send that photo to another ‘colleague’ around the corner with the order to follow her. You don’t know what major bullet she may have dodged.
I was abroad in Istanbul for 3 months for my job as fashion model. One day, there were 2 very creepy men watching me. I just felt their eyes piercing through me from a distance. Not worried at all to get caught, bold attitude, vile look in their eyes - my gut was telling me to get the HELL away from there. They ended up following me for about half an hour. I had to try really hard to shake them off. The faster I went, the faster they went. I eventually managed to lose them and I entered a metro station. I hid in the crowd and took the first train I saw. Boy was I paranoid! I held my breath until the doors were closed and I was sure they didn’t jump aboard.

Someone could literally download your profile pic and do the same thing. People doing nasty shit with your photos is just a risk you take when you exist on the internet, or when you cosplay, or work as a street performer. Most people are not that awful though. I've cosplayed for years and have some dudes probably done something nasty with a picture they nicely asked me for? Sure. But a lot of people who asked for my picture were women or children. Am I to assume they also did awful things, or are you just stereotyping an entire gender based on your perspective that is VERY skewed by the work you do? People can literally look at you and imagine disgusting things. It's weird to ask a random stranger who's not in costume for a picture and that should set off red flags, but I'm not going to stop enjoying my costume based hobbies because gross people exist. There are lots of WONDERFUL people who ask for pictures. Don't expose your children to such things, sure. But as an adult? I will always let people take pictures of me in cosplay. I'm proud of the costumes I create, and I wont let fear of a few creeps stop me from living.

    As a tomboy rant incoming:
For the girl talking about being more girly and how guys love girly girls. I have a feeling she was just going for a tomboy girl she knows and trying to tell her to be more girly. Either jealous the girl is surrounded by guys (tips to know about most tomboys and not the pickme ones, we genuinely do not want those boys in our group to like us like that. We're JUST chilling bro and can't connect to the girly shit, so shockingly, our group usually consists of guys because we all share the same hobbies and likes. Which is okay, it doesn't make anyone lesser or higher, it just how things turn out. I'm not gonna be friends with someone who's requirement of me being in her group is to wear lip gloss. If you view people specifically by their looks and think 'they bring our image down' you're the issue because friends aren't aesthetic accessories.) OR she's wanting to "fix her".
Some guys probably do like way more feminine girls but...people tend to prefer a lot of different things, so focusing on it too hard FOR someone else is weird. Idk about any of you but I'm not changing who I am for no one else. I'll change for ME, or because I'm curious about something, not to get some random blokes attention (which I'll say, a lot of my guy friends DID have a crush on me but they got over it quick when they realised I wasn't interested or another girl caught their interest and they went onto be happy with them, which GOOD. Once they got over me being a girl it was gucci. I wasn't there to be the girl of the group I just wanted to exist in a space where I could talk about my interests.) I've had girly friends who wanted to give me makeovers but it was never to get me to fit some social criteria they concocted up. It was just fun "please let me just see what you'd look like!" and I went along with it. It WAS fun, obviously. We had giggles and we had fun with it, but it didn't feel like me in the end or something I'd be willing to do every day and y'know what? That girly friend didn't care. She still hung out with me. We stayed besties up until I left school for personal reasons and life just separated us. But I did have fun and I appreciated some girly things more, it was just never a focus for me. (I've always admired the effort she went through tbh, girl I see you)
Pushing people to fit your image of what you think a girl or woman should be is utterly stupid. There are PLENTY of guys who like tomboyish girls, there's plenty of women who support those other women too and can look beyond what bag she's holding. It isn't a kindness to make that tiktok. Chances are that girl she's no doubt targeting doesn't give a shit or has her own little moments with more feminine things, she just doesn't blast it constantly or for the world to see.
"You should do it for you." I have when I've felt like it. And I can tell you a lot of tomboys probs have done the same. It's just not a priority for sweet perfume and lip gloss.(Which if it is yours, cool, more power to you.) But we CAN dress up if the mood takes us/we wanna try it. We just aren't into it for daily constants. And people have got to get the fuck over that.

I had a friend years ago whose ex girlfriend gave me a book on how to get a husband because she was jealous of me and him (we were not romantic at all). It included things like to never cut your hair short, even if it looks better on you because men like long hair and to not focus attention on him at dinner, he needs to work to capture your attention ... never approach a man first ... I had such a laugh over that book. Especially if you think I stole your man then why would *I* need help?

I don't think men care THAT much about hair length & if they do (demand) it then I think it's just controlling behavior cuz it's that individual's hair & they can do what they want with it. Hi Queen Charlotte, that hammer that he used to break the car window at 11:11 is called a "glass breaker". As you are learning to drive I thought I should tell you that when you get a car please make sure you have one. Sometimes it comes with the car, sometimes you need to buy it yourself. It is a very useful, life saving, tool to keep on you in case of emergency. They work not only on your car window but also bus and train windows too. They usually have a sealbelt ripper on it as well, which is really useful in an emergency situation too. There are fancier ones that even have a torch on it too, which will help you find the window to smash/seat belt to rip if you're in low light. Stay safe out there Queen! Lots of love from Manchester UK xXx

Then I butt into the conversation and say well I'm the only one married and I dress terrible and rarely care about my looks. My husband saw me at school with oversize hoodies, jeans, converse, baggy eyes and the smallest will to live and said yep, she is the one. Like really??? Hahaha, yes it is nice to dress up and do it if you want. Feels nice and no shame in it. Though giving that advice doesn't seem the healthiest mindset. Cause not every guy is the same. Just feel comfortable with yourself and do things that make you happy. You don't gotta be extra for anyone other than yourself.

as for the delulu "what men love" one, I did the opposite. I did the "I look like a cave troll 24/7" thing because if I'm gonna attract a man, he's gotta know up front that most of the time 0 effort goes into my looks. He can deal with that? Then we're golden. And not once, in our TWENTY YEARS OF MARRIAGE has he ever, ever looked at my feet in a naughty way. I got way more going on for him to even make it to my FEET. Even a foot rub, nice little pain relieving foot rub, only gets him in the mood cos them thick thighs are in his lap so he can do it. Remember, people trying to attract men, what he *should* love, most of all, is YOU. Not the meat suit you're walking around in.
