    I’ve been a lifelong Christian who visited Israel earlier in 2020. That visit and my long distance friendship with an Orthodox Jewish woman led me to spend my ‘Covid’ time in the study of history and early Christianity. Several Rabbis have brought this history to life. Dr Abramson is one of my favorite sources of rational history. Thank you so much!

    Thanks for the video. Love these. Slowly but surely making my way through your wealth of teachings. So appreciate you and your historical expertise. I'm aware this is a historical teaching...I found it interesting to notice very light shades of a repeat of Daniel 11:19 (believed to be Antiochus "the Great" 200 BC) as Cestius Gallus enters Jerusalem from the north and then had to turn his tail to flee! hah! Again, thank you, enjoy your teachings so much!

I am a bit concerned about the figure of 20,000 you mention for the XII Legion though: everything I have ever read puts a Roman legion at ~6,000 soldiers or a bit less.

    This extravagant, empire-wide program of public and private works was funded by a rise in taxation-a move that was much resented by the upper class. In contrast, his populist-style of rule remained well-admired among the lower classes (of both Rome and the Roman provinces) until his death and beyond.

    9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
    (Ze.12:9)
    10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.
    (Ze.12:10)
    11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

      @@turquoise770 bro, guess what came after the 69th week! Correct, the 70th week. It's called counting.

    • @turquoise770
      @turquoise770 Před 2 lety

      @@williambrewer you know that the 70 weeks are divided into 3 sections:
      a seven week period - 49 years
      a sixty-week period - 434 years
      and a final period of one week - 7 years
      Either you're ignorant that these period of weeks are NOT in chronological succession, or you're being disingenuous in order to maintain your false dogma and mock the truth.
      The final week, according to Daniel, requires the temple to exist in Jerusalem in order for "the man of perdition" to enter and declare himself to be God.
      This "man of perdition" will be seen at first by the Jews to be the messiah, and probably by Islam to be the mahdi, but in all actuality, it will be antiChrist - probably at first being leader of the "revived Roman Empire", a.k.a. the European Union - also interpreted by Daniel as the feet and toes of iron and clay seen in the dream of Nebuchadnezzar of that last world system empire where the two legs of iron, Rome, have come back together in feet and toes of an alliance that is not altogether coherent (symbolized by the clay, or as one can see the actions of Brexit, and the recalcitrance of the Poles and Hungarians against this new order of things - by the way, a one world government run by the globalist mafia elite aided by their perverse and lying media, social media, entertainment world they own and control - all being ushered in using the viruses they have concocted in lab and are now releasing in order to have a pretext for establishing the new lock down society run by them - necessarily implemented now because everybody has a supercomputer in their pocket, and by all models they have determined such a system is necessary in order for their 1% to remain atop the pinnacle of the wealth and power pyramid in this world and continue to rule the billions in anonymity as more people with every increasing technology find out about them, who they are and the criminal activity generating trillions that traditionally kept them in power over the many, many decades - playing both sides of wars, conflicts, etc., weapons/drug/child trafficking, etc.).
      It doesn't matter if you agree with it or not, it is happening. The third temple will be rebuilt. The rise of this "man of perdition" will come about, and the sacrifices resumed in the temple will be halted by this person in the middle of that week (after 3 and one half years) as prophesied by Daniel, the Jews' eyes will be opened to all of this, and 144,000 of them (an exact number I know not, but perhaps) will evangelize the true gospel around the world for that latter 3 and one half years until the final battle of Armageddon in which the evil world system is finally swept away and the Millenial Age in which Jerusalem is the capital of the world in a just theocratic system under God administered by His chosen people, the Jews, will be in place - an age, if you know scripture, is attested to by all the prophets of the Old Testament. After that, a final brief rebellion where all the unbelievers ever are put away forever, and believer are ushered into eternity with God.
