  • We've dropped 279 episodes of Finnegan's Garage and this one picks up where we left off last week, which is finishing the trip home from Indiana to Georgia. Once back at my warehouse, we repacked the new ATC Trailer ROM550 car hauler with tools and Blasphemi and immediately headed east to Alabama to see how my '55 Chevy Bel Air runs. The goal for this track test was to see if we could soften the launch of my car by using a new product called The Bangshift Billy to control the release of the clutch throwout bearing. It took awhile to get it set up correctly but by the end of the day we were seeing the potential of this cool product. If you'd like more information, click here:

@everyone Thank you all for the support and thanks Mike for having faith in me and giving me such a rad opportunity to work with you. I absolutely love it! Merry Christmas everyone, see you next year!

Top doorseal tip to stop wind noise - stick a piece of 3/8 polyrope behind the seal pushes out the seal far enough to make contact whilst still being deformable enough to work well

  • @mopar_man74

I swear blasphemi is cursed this thing never fails to fail😂

"I met my wife on the banks of the Colorado River, she was sitting in the sand..." sounds like the opening lines of a country song, lol.

  • @marklarson9436

I don't know if I could have been as patient. Nothing he does is cheap. Respect.

  • @Thatboostednanner

Once the bang shift gets adjusted correctly it’ll be time to replace the roached clutch disc and start all over again 😂

Mike I don’t know if you will see this comment or not but I grew up as a kid watching you on the early roadkill episodes and loved watching you and David work on cars. Sure enough it got me into cars and now I am a mechanic with a project car thanks to you. Merry Christmas!!!

Dude!!! The early days!!! Was the best days!!! Too many gizmos!!!✌️

  • @stephenhesen1481

Mike, how is it possible you don't "loose your cool"??? Your attitude is so composed. Love your "stuff".

  • @garylankford9306

If I saw the Roadkill ramp truck rolling past me I'd be more excited than a 6 year old seeing Santa, I tell you what.

  • @hawaiian_judge5113

On this episode of Click Bait: Finnegan monologues alone in the car for 45 minutes, Bang Shift Billy goes home sad and Blasphemy never burns down.

  • @fredschoettle288

6 figure Blaspheme… always broken or about to be. That new trailer is really nice. It will provide you years and years of shade to watch the cars that run.

I like the stories how you met your wife and how you and Joe met at the boat races. Good stuff Mike. It was interesting to hear about your parents boat, i think you said a 1971 Rogers with an Olds 455, and it would only go 69mph no matter what. I now know why you hate Olds engines, although they are and always be my go to favorite for nostalgia reasons. If by chance, some day, you give another go at an olds 455 ill tell you the secret to making them live...its the moroso 10qt flat bottom trap door oil pan. Not only myself, but also witnessed a few others with olds powered jet boats wave bye bye to engine oiling problems with this pan. My next goal is to figure out how to run that same pan in a car without having to cut up my 442 fromt crossmember too severely.

That trucks got history. It hauled Terry Sherrill’s Corvette all over. I remember that truck when I was riding bicycle going by fueling young minds to build hot cars. Klamath Falls had a lot of them. I couldn’t believe it when it showed up on Roadkill and then you keeping it alive. That trucks been involved with race cars almost as long as I’ve been alive.

  • @SamIam420

The ramp truck puts in the work! You take care of it! Ramp truck is taking care of you!❤ my favorite vehicle you own, is the Ramp truck!!

  • @jonnewton5929

Awesome year watching you Finn. Merry Christmas to you and your family mate. And to the crew. Bring on 2024. Cheers

  • @codyhouston1327

Could definitely feel the frustration through the tv, you’ll get it sorted out and run a number soon enough!

  • @jkl_916

The roadkill ramp truck and the C10 truck are my most favourite projects that have been shown

  • @goatflieg

Many years ago when all you had was a dream of owning a badass Chevy Gasser with a blown hemi in it, you probably thought it would be just nothing but basking in coolness. You had no idea of what an incredible amount of work it would require, which now somewhat clouds the experience. I went through that when building my airplane. Hopefully it will be eventually dialed in to a level of reliability that will allow you to soak in the coolness that you've earned with all the hard work.
