- Today's Back Sculpting Upper Body Workout uses dumbbells and controlled movement to build upper body strength and lean muscle. Each circuit consists of a series of back exercises to target and sculpt the muscles that make up the upper, mid and lower back. No jumping in this one today making it a solid low impact, apartment friendly workout! Grab those weights and let's get to work!

Things I love about certain workouts: 1) a warm up and cool down that aren't totally lame; 2) no "motivational coach talk"; 3) no throwing weights around and sprinting to catch the next exercise (thereby having poor form and missing part of the set); 4) thorough and tough, but not joint destroying. So accurate! Heatherâs very much in tune with more realistic concepts of exercise, making it easier to make adjustments to different movements and transitions. Just goes to show how much she cares about helping those who follow her workouts!

Heather, I just want to say Thank you for helping me build my strength and confidence back up. I was primarily âfit and strongâ before and during my pregnancy, but as a 1st time mom, I struggled a lot with all of the new changes that my body went through physically, mentally and emotionally . I lost my mom last year to cancer and and my grandma passed away less than 3 months prior to her. I didnât know who I was anymore. I accepted my âmom bodâ in the beginning but I really let myself go and ate junk food and did not make my health a priority . Iâm 5â0 and within 2 years after having my daughter, I not only lost a lot of strength and muscle, but I also gained 20lbs. I found your channel through finding home workouts on CZcams at the beginning of quarantine due to gym shutdown . I did some of your workouts here and there but was never consistent . I really appreciate you for providing exceptional content and also setting up monthly plans for us to work on. Iâm on day 3 of your Nov workout and have been enjoying waking up every morning to have something to look forward to. Iâve been doing extra workouts from other videos in between to extend my workout a little bit longer . You have no idea how much you have impacted my life already. Thank you thank you thank you â€ïž
Heather!!! Love the fact that you 1. Preview the next move ahead of time, and 2. Allow us a few seconds to breathe/get into position for the next set before immediately moving on. This is sooo unbelievably helpful and is something I see lacking in other channels. I can't tell you how annoying it is to have to pause a video over and over again throughout a workout just to get the 5 seconds required to adjust and position for the next set. Really appreciate your format!! xo

I've been doing some of your workouts for a while and I LOVE the fact that you upload workouts with different lengths because sometimes I only feel like doing 10 minutes strength training, sometimes I like around 30 mins, sometimes 40 and sometimes 60. And I also love that you include a warmup and a cooldown in the longer ones. Keep up the amazing work you're doing! đ

I just discovered you this week and I've done this back workout twice now. I'm 43 and I've had 2 back surgeries and have been advised to strengthen my back muscles so my journey has begun. I thoroughly enjoyed this workout. Also, I love how it's formatted with music instead of talking.

I've added this Back Sculpting to my morning workout during the 5 days week and it has helped with my pushups SCORE I can now do 5, also has helped with strengthening my injured shoulder which which is healed, I no longer have pain WHOOT WHOOT, arm is getting stronger.
For August 2024s:
Circuit 1: 40 seconds each then 15 seconds rest x2
Narrow and wide bent row
Super V squeeze
One arm row L
One arm row R
Rear fly combo (both arms at same time then both arms individually)
Circuit 2 40 seconds each then 15 seconds rest x2

I added this one with January Calendar, to help strengthen all muscles attached to the shoulder. On the mend for sure, shoulder is almost pain free. Thank you young lady for all you do

Great workout. I am following Heather religiously for a year now and her monthly calender for 4 months.its great. Sometimes I do her 2 days workout in a single day as I don't like working out during periods..I hope its OK.. she is my gym and my perfect gym trainer. This was such a great but simple workout-- the kind of thing I'd never do if it weren't for Heather, and the reason I'm seeing so many results after 6 months of following the workout calendars. Thank you so much... I dance at church and my back has been painful for the longest time. I looked for so many back stretching videos, and I realized that I actually need to strengthen my back. This wasn't too difficult to follow along and I'll give you feedback in 2 weeks of doing the same workout. I'm hoping to gradually increase the weights, but for now I'm using 2kg dumbbells đ

I am loving this channel so much! I used to be an avid gym goer and lifted heavy, but with all the changes that 2020 has brought us, I have had to pivot in so many areas but have put my fitness in the back burner :( These workouts are helping me ramp back up to how fit I used to be, or even more fit! I am so grateful for the low impact workouts that I am able to do after a major car accident. Thank you Heather!
Do you know what heather inspires me most is that i now have the confidence to pick up the heavy weights (when i actually go, i mean with her workouts i only ever go as a buddy to friends) but i no longer hesitate when it comes to using heavier weighs in the gym...probably show the men who are too busy watching themselves a thing or two about proper form ;) All thanks to you heather! Heather youâve got some lovely workouts. I especially liked the 32 min one for legs and butt which is quite a surprise to me beacuse Iâm picky when it comes to leg workouts. Youâre amazing, keep up the great work. Youâre helping many people with what you do.
Loved this workout. The dumbbell workout helped me to focus on the muscles to use. With being pregnant I had to adapt the floor work, but still did that standing and got a great workout.
