- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new around the house happenings style vlog - I guess I leave the house for a bit but I'm prepping some things that have been on my mind lately so I took a trip to homegoods to make it happen1 I got some halloween stuff so I could be creative and some stuff for thanksgiving, you know - cute and practical!

My ex-husband & I had a timeshare thru Marriott, & I can honestly say it was worth it bc the properties were awesome! We were also able to switch our week w/any Marriott anywhere, which we did sev yrs. The one we bought was in Orlando near Disney, & it had a circular sep primary bath tub that was maybe 7ft in diameter! It also had a lock-off unit, which had another bedroom, mini-kitchen, & bath that was attached to our unit. If we chose our wk there, we could use it to let the cousins come with, or rent it out while locked in ours; however, we lost that extra space when switching properties. The yearly maintenance fees were ridiculous, & we had sm monthly payments, but it was still cheaper than a nice hotel suite for a wk per yr! We sold it during the divorce, & I wonder what they cost today? Glad I could enjoy it during my young yrs:)

When you were doing the laundry and talking up a storm I couldn’t help but think of the time, way back when, Alex was included in on a question and answer vlog. He said how he could not wait to get home to his wife every day because he loved being with you so much 🤗 Well watching you makes me think you are exactly the same with your family as you are with us. Kim, I use towel rods so I can stretch out the towel to dry. The hooks seem good for clean towels. Not sure about them drying out. Understand about fall weather being still too warm. Here, too. Love fall. Love your channel! You deserve a mom award, girlie! Fun stuff for your kids! Lucky them!

OH my goodness. I live in Maine but was born in Florida. I can barely think about fall/autumn. We’re still wearing sandals and shorts here. My fall and winter stuff is still in the back of a closet. What a difference less than 1500 miles can make.🤪

When we had hooks the towels bunched up and did not dry so they got smelly. We had to switch to the long bars so they would dry. I took down the hand towel rings and got a bar for them as well. They dry way better for us.
Peeps and fudge striped cookies make the best s’mores. IMO the sugar on the outside carmelizes, and with the fudge striped cookies you don’t have to buy chocolate. It happened via accident once, and now it’s a staple

Try fudge stripe cookies for s'mores. It's amazing. You don't need extra chocolate, just cook the mallow, place it between 2 cookies (chocolate bottoms facing the mallow) and eat. Super simple and delicious.
One load a day keep laundry mountain at bay...... only the dirty laundry mountain though, clean laundry mountain is thriving!
Instead of using Hershey bars for s’mores we use chocolate frosting because the bar never melts all the way and makes the cracker break, the frosting doesn’t do that. Tastes the same and essentially less messy
Hello Kim, we have towel rails, I find the towels dry out better between showers on rails, compared to hooks, as we use them a few times before washing 🐨🇦🇺🦘
I loved the new Barbie movie. I actually saw it with my adult daughter and we both ended up in tears. I love the soundtrack especially “Silver Platter” by Khalid. Great choice on the Halloween costume idea 👏

😅my mother always had a sweet potato in a glass in the kitchen window. In order to grow sweet or white potatoes you take the eye, or root, and plant in ground. Love you and your family, the baby is a mini of his dad!❤❤❤

We use fudge stripe cookies for smores..chocolate is right on the cookie! Easy for kids.

Need a blender? Youre sending that one back. Get a vitamix. Expensive, but refurbished model is almost half price. Best kitchen thing I have. I use it more than the kitchen aide. Great machine and American made. You won't be disappointed.

Kim, to get rid of the white cast from your dry shampoo just hit it with a blow dries for a few seconds! I hurst learned this on tiktok and it works. I don’t like the brunette one because it leaves a stain on my pillowcases

That's why I moved back home to PA from Florida. I need the weather to fit the season. The fall and winter holidays don't feel like them IMO.
When we had the hooks the towels did not dry as well. So we had to switch to long bars so they would dry. We also took the hand towel rings down and switched to bars. It depends if you want a cute look or dry towels.

Hi! I'm kind of new to the group. Have only been following you for a few months and I've watched almost all your videos 😅. I've been going through a rough time (battling wirth depression, anxiety and panic attacks as a result of work exploitation) (don't worry, my doctor got me to quit that job 🙌🏻) but your positive way of speaking and the way you encourage us to do a little at a time if that's what we feel like doing through the season we are in has really helped me a lot. It's kind of hard to be in your 30s (my case) and leaving a 5 year job where I thought I was ment to grow due to having a Masters Degree and finding out that the company wasn't willing to make that happen. At the beggining it was a shock because all my plans felt down, but new once where created once I realized that my health was at risk and that my life was stucked because of 3rd parties. Thanks for being so real and for reminding us that we are humans and that it's ok not to be ok. PD: sorry for any misspelling, Spanish is my first language 😊

We had a blank wall behind our door in the kids bathroom that we did board and batten on painted to match the vanity and put 4 hooks on it so each kid has their own towel hook. I love the way it turned out and plan on doing the same in our master bath because we’ve been trying to fit 2 bath towels on 1 rod and it’s not functional.
The keebler fudge stripe cookies are fun to use for s'mores too.

That is so funny that you talked about your dishwasher, we just recently replaced ours with that exact one you have and I was so frustrated that my dishes were wet when it finished! I had just discovered by googling ours that the auto dry function dries the dishes🤪
Idk if you ever shop at Dollar General, but they have sales all the time!! Plus every Saturday they have a digital coupon $5 off when you spend $25! Plus other digital coupons attach as well making it even cheaper! I love to coupon for laundry soap! I have 3 kids so laundry is always going here as well!!

Hershey makes white chocolate bars with pop rocks inside ! We used them for s’mores on 4th of July! I’ve also put rolos, Andes mint bars and cookies and cream white chocolate bars in the middle.
Ohhh you just gave me an idea! My daughter LOVES the Ghirardelli caramel filled squares. They'd be great as s'mores middles!
