#COSTCOHAUL #HUGECOSTCOHAUL #GROCERYHAUL - Jak na to + styl
The video you’ve all been waiting for! 🤣
The one where we spent a ridiculous amount of money….$5,635 to be exact 😮😬
BUT let’s break the numbers down, shall we!?
$5,635-$499(play set doesn’t count towards groceries)= $5,136
$5,136 / 8 (months) = $642
$642 / 4 (weeks) = $160
Now does $160 sound like a lot of money to be spending on groceries per week for a FAMILY OF 7?! Definitely not!
About a month after we shop at Costco we start shopping again for produce and such…$50-$200 bi weekly. So AT MOST we spend $260 a week on groceries for our large family.
So now that you see the breakdown what do you think? Is my way of shopping stupid? Or smart? 🤔
Let me know your thoughts!!
Such a smart way of doing this. One big trip will save you from extra misc spending by going multiple times! Sorry you always have to explain yourself because of haters!
Brilliant! I would do that too if I had the space ❤️
Thats a smart way to shop. Ill admit it sounded like a lot until you broke it down like this.
We spend about $400-600 on a family of 4 at Costco a month. That’s with of course all our extras like household items, clothing, books, & things too. & we are in a high cost of living area as well. But we go monthly it’s just 5 minutes away lol
5 kids - you are a saint
She's one of the only mom's who can say "We got food at the house."
And in the car as well 🤣 like just reach behind you
Shouldn't you always have food in the house... we only have 3 people in my house a hungry grown man.. me and a 3 year old and still its about 2000 on food and household cleaning stuff..
@@m.robinson3124 I think it’s just a tongue in cheek comment
@@m.robinson3124 Like when kids say "Can we stop at MICKY D's" no we got food at the house
She has a supermarket in her house
I would love to see a video on where you store all of this. Fridge, freezer, pantry/storage room.
I would too!
Same!!!

Me watching from a one bedroom apartment: "Yas, girl, get all the things!"
Same here. But Im in a studio. She rocked that grocery trip!
You’re fine. Trust me on this one. I’ve been in her place and yours and I wish I could go back to a more minimalist life
😅
😭😂
It’s looks like hell. 5 kids…
I have a family of 6. I don’t know why people hate on this so much. If you remove the play set price you spent an average of 700 per month for a family of 7, if people take the time to think that’s 100 per person. Food, snacks, cleaning and toiletries. You did amazing. Good for you and thanks for sharing. ❤️
I love that quote "until you are feeding my family, you don't have a say".
She should make merch that says that. I would totally buy it!
I agree, which is why I'm going to enjoy my freedom. 1 kid is bad enough, 5 kids, yeah you better believe your life is pretty much over.
Rather rude.
@@clouseau1kailie how is that rude
I have 4 children and it really bothers me that people have negative things to say. When you have a herd of children, you don’t have time to go to the grocery store often. Plus, buying in bulk saves ALOT of money! The way you are shopping is actually saving your family a ton of
Money. The USDA says a family of 7 (young children ) spend $859 a month on food. That’s $10,308 a year. What you just bought at 5600, with easily over $1000 spent on non- food items and it lasts you 8 months means you will be spending a substantial amount less than the average family of 7. So you are actually being incredibly smart shopping this way… the people who are leaving rude comments clearly don’t understand how budgeting for your family works. Keep doing what you are momma! You are doing awesome!!
I see moms in the parking lot with even one kid and I kind of stay within running reach, kid in cart or around or in midst of the mom pulling all her muscles getting toddler/baby into the back seat and attaching things so they don't fall out. It's nearly 100 outside and she's sweating and now needs a shower, then has to load heavy bags of things falling everywhere and hoping someone doesn't steal her car or her kid or her or her stuff. Then I am always terrified that these people that I don't even know are going to get hit by a car while going home. All for FOOD and if kids, clothing for a growing kid. I really get mad if I see a woman in a TINY car bending over like a yogi trying to fasten the kid in the carseat. I actually do yogi moves and get all bent out of shape if I have to bend over to grab things out of the back seat. I would be like, TIMEOUT ...I need someone else to shop for me. So this seems super smart, stocking up. I really see why women used to do things in packs long ago. I LOVE the way the Hutterites live (in communities where they do tasks together and are safe).
4-5 kids is entirely too much
There miserable thats why they hsve something negative to say.. they like to try and tear others doen.. misery loves company.. this is the first time ive seen her in a video.. but, never once did it cross my mind that she is doing something wrong.. or that deserves a judgement..
..and it's Healthy...not Fast food! Great job mom of 5!
@@tazzel10 ...what do you mean????
I love the fact that the mayority of this food is super healthy and actual food not junk. I think this is great for families who have the means and the storage to do so. I would love to be able to do this. Lets keep in mind that this is for a big family AND for 6 to 8 months. I just simply love this! ❤ Keep up the good work mom and dad!!
Right!! 🙂 I shop and I’m single but it’s for a couple of months but I have stuff heading into next year that I bought in the summer. 😬
I do regular groceries for my family of 4 around 200$ per week and I wish we could do a 1000$ Costco order per month
I spend almost $1000 a month at Costco on almost entirely organic stuff. I see a lot of expensive junk food. lol
@@willowriverranch7965 even more with the prices going up. Its crazy! But hey you're blessed to be able to do that.
Wow! Coming from a household of a single mother where we did not know where our next meal was coming from, this makes my heart feel warm. I am now 25 living on my own, and at this point I’m budgeting to make sure I get good, sustainable food but enough to last me a while. One day I hope I can become a wife/mother who can provide this way for myself and my family. To feel secure is the best feeling in the world for a kid or an adult who never had security. Good job mom & dad. I strive to make this kind of money and think this smart.
When I was single, I found the day old meat section. It was usually 50% off or more. I could spend $35 every two weeks and always had plenty of food. Macaroni and cheese, a can of cream of mushroom soup, and add hamburger or ground turkey can make a lot of meals.
@@susaningram6360 Canned soup was $3.69 at my store. One wee little Campbells can...When I was single it used to be that you could get it on sale for $0.99.
Somewhere, an extreme couponer is curled into the fetal position and crying softly.
😂
Yes ... yes
Lol true
😂😂😂
🤣
You should do a video showing how you put all this away in the refrigerator. I know u do some freezer meals but it seems overwhelming to put it all away before you can process the meals. I admire you and the healthy way you feed your family. ❤️
Would love to see that too and how everything gets organized!👍
Me too!
Me too.
Yes please
Yes. Most people do not have the space to store that much stuff. I save more money buying things from Kroger when things are on sale or the "Buy 5..." We have a Costco too and go for paper towels and some freezer things we love from there. We save far more money by making sauces from scratch. It was funny to see the whipping cream, butter and all the cheeses and then see she bought alfredo sauce. She has all the ingredients to make it from scratch if she has garlic. I know canned stuff is easy, but it's so full of preservatives. From scratch takes a couple extra minutes but it's so worth it, and it saves money.
That is the craziest haul of food I've ever seen ,you go girl. My mom was a little bit of a prepper and many of times it saved us from going without. Don't let anyone ever bring you down for thinking ahead for your family.
As an ICU CNA through this pandemic, I can say for a fact orgain chocolate protein shakes have kept me alive thus far 😂 I am so happy to know they’re at Costco. I’m new to your videos, so hi from North Carolina! I plan to keep watching :)
I spend 800$ -1000$ at Costco a month for our household of 8. So that’s roughly 12,000$ a year. So you did good in my mind!! When you figure that each person eats roughly 200$ a month in food. I think I do pretty damn good feeding us and that includes cleaning stuff and household needs. We are both killing it! Because I buy in bulk and only what is on sale and because I know how to properly store food that saves us so much money!
Good job!!
"Properly store food" ?
Love ur way of thinking
@@maryburger1232
Yes!
Some things should go straight to the freezer, others could spend some time on the counter. When dealing with food you don't just put things away for the sake of it.
@myvicentiuJealous much? Or just hating on her to be rude?
I’m not annoyed by your heavy breathing I’m just feeling sorry for you because I know that your real work starts after you film the haul when you have to start breaking everything down to bag it and freeze it and put it all away. I’m sure that you worked for hours with that much food to put away. You deserve a reward!
this is freaking awesome to see. I hope to be a stay-at-home mom when my husband and I have kids and I really wanna be frugal about how I grocery shop. $5k seems like a lot, but to last for SOOOO long, it really doesn't seem that crazy, especially for the size of your family. This really just inspires me to wanna keep grinding while I can before having kids, so we can give them the best. I love Costco and even for just me and my husband I go every few months, but it would be so cool to just save every month and then do big hauls like this every 6 months or so to save money in the long run!! Keep it up girl! You're amazing!!
You have given me some great ideas! And I love your attitude about the negative comments from others. Keep being you and don't stop sharing. 😊
So I’m a cashier at a big supermarket and honestly you’re so smart for doing this. I cannot tell you how often I have the same customers come in spending over a hundred dollars because of impulse buying/expensive foods (like pre-prepared foods like subs, etc.). A lot of people come in almost nightly and buy food for the next day, which wastes so much time and leads them to spend excess money as well. You’re saving so much time and money by doing it this way and you’re almost definitely eating healthier, too. Plus I love watching big hauls😂😂
I am THAT girl. I live really close to a grocery store and I drive there for a breakfast sandwich and pick out my lunch for the day the make myself late because of some cute new thing, go over budget and it isn't even break time year. This is every week and it really adds up.
People in / with big families are so blessed.
@@spunkycat6144 Girl same. I live two blocks away so I just walk to the store for whatever I need. It's a really expensive store in my neighborhood so I've been getting delivery groceries from elsewhere but man, i'm there constantly picking up little things that don't warrant a whole grocery delivery. But I'm single and convenience is worth a lot for me too.. if I had a family of 7, I probably wouldn't be doing that.
So true. I usually shop once a week, $125-150 for our family of 7. I find that when I stop by for just one or two things, I end up spending $25+😩
Completely agree, I used to be one of those people running into the store 2 or 3x A week and spent a bunch on impulse buys. Now I go to Publix once a week, Sams once every 4-6 weeks, and Costco every 3 or months. My diet is so much healthier and I spend less money overall.
You said $56,000 at first and I was like wait, WHAT? 😅
I heard it also. lol
Yes..I knew she made an mistake bc who buying $56,000 worth of groceries?
Read what the headline says.
Maybe she was tired after this Costco shopping 🛍
@@user-hc8li3qn3d I know that I would be.
Holy cow! This blew me away!! The logistics on your hauls is just mind boggling. I come from a family of 8, I know what it takes to shop to stock up months in advance! I can imagine your convoy of trolleys, your shopping roll list strategically folded so it doesn’t drag on the floor …. I don’t know what’s more epic, your hoard itself or the whole operation of shopping, transporting then organising everything neatly laid out just to have it ready for the camera? It takes a special planning, organisation and coordination skills and patience to achieve just this level alone without feeling stressed, then there’s storing it too. What can’t be missed is the fact your Wonder Woman! Plain & simple! Love your channel
Thanks for posting such an interesting video-it is so interesting to see the food choices other families make. After hearing some of the ways you are going to use the food, I am brimming with ideas of new uses for the same old products I’ve been buying for years. Thanks and cheers!
It's just me, my husband and the youngest adult child in our house and I shop like this too. I have a HUGE stockpile of everything we need to last for the next six-eight months and I do not care what anyone thinks about it. When people were freaking out last March and for months, we had everything we could possibly need and I stayed home for three months. Of course we did curbside pick up for dairy and produce but that was all. There is no reason for anyone to be negative towards you. I think you are very wise! Great haul!!! I drive 2 hours 15 minutes one way to get to the nearest Costco (in a different state!). We go four times a year and spend a lot of money! lol
Thanks for watching

My family has always teased me about keeping a big pantry. They call it moms grocery store but when the covid hit i was like hey whos laughing at mama now? we had lots of choices and couldve easily lasted a year. no worries~
I don't let anybody judge me for bulk shopping. I just have myself to feed and I keep enough here to last for six months. I don't need to worry about panic buying and going to the store all the time.
I do agree with you and I was stocked the same👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
My parents used to order cases of different foods from our local grocery store. Our basement did look like a store, but they saved a ton of money and we always had plenty of food to eat, and an emergency stash if needed.
I'm one of 8 and my mom was a major shopper. She got great deals...she had to. My aunt found this company that totalled what you spent regularly and was supposed to save you $. They were floored when mom told them what she spent a month for 10 people! They said there was no way she was eating the way we did on that $. They wanted to prove they could save her $ but they didn't. She went back to going to her stores where she got great deals and sales.
Love, love this video! I have a family of 5. I love seeing what other moms feed their families. My kids are teens now so the snacks/goodies don’t last long anymore.
I love your videos.
I love to watch these type of videos and Something I think every time I watch them is how blessed we are to have an abundance of options to choose from for the things we want to eat and feed our families. We are so so blessed. Lets be thankful for everything we are able to get. Just having so many stores with plenty of items to choose from is a wonderful blessing, it is so normal for us.
Bleasings to your family and every person’s family watching this. ❤️🙏🏾✨
i dont get why people have to be so negative its not like they are feeding your family or paying for the food or your electric bill to store the food. I love these types of videos but i dont have a costco near me but we have a sams club near us and this is how we shop to but we are a family of 9. Just ignore the haters they have nothing better to do. Love you. :)
I have Costco, Sam's and BJ'S all within seven minutes of me. I struggle with which one to have. Currently I only have Costco and it's my favorite.
@@monami4291 I have Bjs and I love it. They're the only wholesale club that lets you use coupons. They also let you stack coupons. I've gotten plenty of things for cheap by stacking coupons. They also currently have a promotion for a $25 yearly membership. Check them out.

I love your attitude about your purchases. I feel the same way. People will complain about nit picky things, like how much you buy it, where do you > yadda, yadda, yadda... But, if the need arises, they would be the first to show up at your house needing food. Thanks for posting. I really don't know how my parents fed all 7 kids when we were growing up. God must have given my Mom His grace to succeed doing it. I love your channel and I've changed the bell to receive all your video notifications. Thank you for posting.

Thank you for taking the time to share this! I appreciate it, motivates me to reevaluate how I spend money on groceries
Hello Tabitha! I shop once a month at Costco for our Family. Tip for freezing bagels: slice them in half before you put them in the freezer. It makes defrosting/toasting them so much easier! Love your channel! 💕
You should share how you freeze and unfreeze your food. Especially the prep food, Breads etc. Will it still taste amazing as the fresh ones? And how big is your freezer? And what else do you freeze? Im really curious.
Me too
Bread is easy. You put the entire loaf in the freezer, that's it. No faffing about, simply put it in as is and freeze. Put entire loaf in fridge to defrost and keep it there to use as needed. Down unda we can't keep bread out on the counter as it goes moldy within a day or two (especially in summer, it's hot here!). Bread lives in the fridge and it's fine. Been doing it for 14 years.
@@gkdavies8179 no need to steamed the bread? After defrost in fridge can straight away eat it? And can we freeze it multiple times? Freeze - defrost - freeze - defrost. This is new to me.
@@fatheyn8196 In general, you should always try to avoid refreezing something that has already been defrosted. With meats and seafoods, it’s not ‘try’ to avoid, it’s avoid at all costs! Unless you cook it: when it goes from raw to cooked, it’s fine to refreeze.
This is a good food rule yes. In reality if the food is still super cold you can refreeze. But I dont know you so I don’t recommend it at all, meaning I don’t know how diligent you are and how hygienic your practices are. I wouldn’t do chicken, but beef is fine. Bread is fine. Bread you can split the loaf and the slices and pull out what you need. I kind of like eating frozen bread too.
You are doing an amazing job! It’s not easy shopping for a big family and stay on a healthy plan the way you did. Your family is very blessed to have such a smart caring, loving Mommy and wife. I am sure they know that. Gods blessings be with you and your beautiful family. ♥️
Go girl. I do this too for my family of four. It's nice not to have to think about certain things and just know you have them.

I love that you get actual good food for your family!
I was trying to learn how to CZcams so that I video how I shop as well. I love how you guys shop. You guys are amazing 🤩
You do the very best grocery hauls Tabitha! I get so many great ideas seeing what your family loves. I also really want a Costco membership after watching each time! 😂 We live rather far from one, and if I could figure out how to store things as well as you do I would consider following your lead. Great job - I would totally be out of breath too - you did great!!! 💛🤗💛
Thanks Robin! 😍
Loving the sass!! Those people have no idea what’s it’s like buying groceries for a large family, they also have no idea how to use food before it goes bad, or how to save it when it starts to. I get so many good ideas from your videos for my family of 6! Costco hauls save us so much money a year!
Trying to convince my husband to get a Costco membership. We went shopping a week ago and spent over 500$ hopefully it lasts a month but as we are just starting to shop on our own we haven't quite gotten a hang of budgeting. It's so stressful
Lmao I love your attitude. I’ve been watching deep clean vids & this is the first personal channel I’ve seen w content like this and I am SOLD
I’m glad I found your channel. I’d love to see how you store it.
I remember having those yoghurt sticks and freezing them as a kid too they were the best 😋
I put GoGurt in the freezer and my kids eat them as popsicles.
I love when you upload these hauls! The bigger the better. A lot of people don’t understand how much food kids go through. I have 4 boys. They literally make Sams my main grocery store. I have been shopping for emergency staples since the pandemic . With the prices going up I think it’s important to stay stocked up.
Great haul and you are a super Mom! So many healthy food products. You are making excellent choices for your families diet.😊
This is amazing omg 😍
