David Coverdale, the lead singer of Whitesnake, has one of the most iconic voices in rock. His powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence have defined the band's sound since their formation. "Slow an' Easy," one of their classic tracks, perfectly showcases his gritty yet soulful voice. The song's bluesy groove combined with Coverdale's raw energy makes it a timeless anthem in rock history. Whether you're a longtime fan or just discovering Whitesnake, "Slow an' Easy" is a must-listen.

This is the actual Whitesnake band in this video. The one you see in the 87 videos were hired just for the videos since David didn't think his actual band had the right image. They did become the most iconic videos of the eighties so he had some point. This song comes from the album Slide it In. You should react to that song and Spit it Out. If you are wondering, yes both songs are about love making.

He was also the drummer on the "Rainbow Rising" album featuring Rainbow's all-time classic "Stargazer" and his solo effort "Dance with the Devil" is well worth a listen. The drumming on that is truly phenomenal. Here's a link to him playing it at a Whitesnake concert : czcams.com/video/NO_fx1WshCA/video.html&start_radio=1

Still amazed that you have never reacted to The Babys after all of these years. You did John Waite with Bad English. You did John Waite solo but never his first group or their top 20 hits Isn't It Time and Every Time I Think of You. Oh, and while he was not in the band at the time of those songs, Journey's keyboardist Jonathon Cain was in that band before joining Journey.
Another band you really need to give another look is Night Ranger. You reacted to Sister Christian, which was their popular power ballad but was not indicative of their normal music. Don't Tell Me You Love Me rocks with the best of them and had killer guitar solos.

Agree! Babys were late 70's, early 80's. My favorites are Midnight Rendezvous, Looking For Love, Turn and Walk Away and Silver Dreams.
Most people know that Jonathan Cain went on to Journey and wrote some of their best songs back in the day, Faithfully among them. Also if note, Walt Stocker went on to play with Rod Stewart for quite a while. John Waite had his solo career also. Best album is Union Jacks IMO.

After the album that had the big hits (often called 1987) was finished being recorded John Sykes returned home to England. Coverdale wanted him to fly back and rerecord the solo for Here I Go Again. John refused as he was happy with what he recorded. Coverdale called in Vandenberg to rerecord the solo. Before the tour and any video's were made Coverdale fired the band you see in this video , which is the band that recorded 1987 album. Coverdale handpicked Vivian Campbell , Adrian Vandenberg , Rudy Sarzo & Tommy Aldridge to be in the videos & do the tour. When Sykes formed Blue Murder afterwards we got to hear his great singing voice to add to his killer guitar playing. Its possible Coverdale felt a little competition in Sykes and decided to nip it in the bud. Three sides to every story - Coverdales , the bands & the truth. Its a shame cause they were good together.

John Sykes is tragically underrated..He's responsible for the monster sound in their next album with Still of the night and the rest................

Saw Whitesnake FIVE times growing up, the last time was on the Whitesnake 87’ tour at London’s Wembley Arena; Glen Campbell (another great guitarist), slipped down the ramp on his side of the stage but recovered so well only a few including myself noticed! Brilliant show, Still of the Night was epic and the whole crowd were going crazy!!

I remember the first time hearing this album and being blown away by how good it was. I bunked school with a bunch of friends. One of them had a 72 Cutlas. We ended up cruising in his car and he put in this cassette and Deep Purple - Perfect Strangers. It was a great day and I had to go out and get both cassettes from two amazing bands!

Amber took chair dancing to another level about halfway through this song - really got into the groove of this song, which was amazing. One of my favorite songs by Whitesnake, and this is one of my favorite reactions from you both .. keep on rockin'!! Slide It In and Love Ain't No Stranger are great songs from this same album!!

Saw Whitesnake when Steve Vai toured with them. They were great. The only problem was they had Kix open up for them and they came out swinging for the fences. Tore the roof off the place and had every Bic lighter in the place lit when they did 'Don't Close Your Eyes'

Hi Jay and Amber! It's Andrew Erroch fae Paisley in Scotland here. I still have a full 12" size picture disk 'Special U.S. Remix Version' of the album this is from. I used to play it all the time back in 1984 and thereafter. Now, it just sits in my collection. The album is called 'Slide It In', and it's brilliant. Æx 🙏

David Coverdale and Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin formed Coverdale Page in the late 80's, early 90's maybe? But you have to check out their song/video Shake My Tree. It rocks like this one with Zeppelin vibes! If you listen to it in the car you'll get a speeding ticket!

Dave is a great front man. Whitesnake's sound is like glam/hair metal had a baby with blues music. I also love thus song's unique vibe. I was amazed at how tight the band is/was when I dud a deep dive on their catalog. Lots of good tunes to explore from them.
