Im a 17 yr old beginner barber and I was wondering what was the best brand to put on my clients after a haircut. Can I just buy alcohol or something else. Also I’ve done a self cut and i got some bumps? Is it because I applied too much pressure with electric shavers or because I didn’t use alcohol?

Literally watched his vid from 3/12/2017 today and commented about how the cut and production etc was on point. went to the page to possibly subscribe and saw film making enthusiast so that explained everything. But when I saw it had been 3 years... My heart dropped. reading the comments I still don't know what's going on but this young man was clearly a gift and is clearly loved. Hey bro hope your doing good, well I don't know where to start... I started cutting hair about three years ago and I came across you channel early on in my journey. I started cutting out of my room with some Walmart clippers and just watching videos on CZcams. Your videos were always my favorite because you on made good quality videos and offered words of encouragement. Fast forward to know my work has improved a lot, I even started filming videos off my phone... Im saving up for a camera and am currently learning PremierPro, it just hit me how much of a inspiration you truly were. I remember coming home after work and just chilling with your videos playing in the background, I remember when you got sick a couple of times and you were still making content, crazy how much we all miss you, your in our prayers brother. My magic clips are unicord from when it first came out... This set is 160 I believe.. Definitely worth switching from my old schools. The trimmer is just a bonus. My og Andis Styliner 2 still hits harder than anything out here w no irritation that's not getting shelved ever

Andis mod always is louder regardless of Wahl, Babyliss, or those Gamma’s. The comb blade has extra material that the cutting blade rides on, creating more vibration on the housing. If you look at any Wahl blade, it’s just flat, less tension and pressure because the tolerances account for that.

Don’t know it you already tried this. But there’s a thinner cutter blade that comes on the ergo.. as a matter fact your alpha comes with a deep tooth and a shallow tooth. Put the shallow on with the andis blade.. it should quiet down so you can hear the crunch better as well..

i have this same clipper with the Andis Masters blade mod and all i did was add more pressure when screwing in the Andis blade and it doesn't move at all now

Actually bro, I reached out to his friend and asked him for updates. He said the following message "He had medical issues that kept him continuing his journey he's still breathing but hasn't made much progress. Thank you for reaching out we Ll miss him dearly." The first part of that message, at first, I thought he passed. But just deciphering it, I think he's in a coma. IDK if you guys believe in God, but I do. And there's power in numbers. We should all pray he makes a full and speedy recovery.

The noise is caused by the weight of the cutting blade. The original blade is thin&light

I remember few years back I came across Kevin on YT on what to carry in a barber case, I copied his old cardboard shoebox case and he even made a video on it a couple years back after I showed him on IG , I had no money barley starting, I dm’ed him once “ima stop buying clippers” then sent him a screenshot 2 days later of me buying the style craft ergo and he replied “you’re a clown bro 🤣🤡” , I remember being so inspired by Kevin, seemed to live a regular barbers life, go to work , cut , and chill not like the bigger names , that I seem like I can’t relate . Anyways I hit him up couple months ago I remembered about his channel and he never replied , reading these comments got me trippin , hopefully he’s coo if anyone has an update that’s be great but all in all I’ve been cutting a couple years now and only growing, I have a steady clientele and I just wish he’s open that dm so he can see all I’ve achieved so far, I do think about the times at 17 just studying his videos like crazy to improve , get insight, reviews . Everything 🙏🏽

I got my style craft alphas, about a week ago. I try to do the modification. When I put the andis blade It got so hot, that I could not even use it. I really was not that impressed with the clipper. I wanted to like it so bad. But I just wasn’t feeling it
