Does your Boosted blade get quite hot after 5/10 minutes usage?
@@GR-nz5pw na never really only if ive taken time on the haircut and used the boosted for a good 35 mins. I would realign the blades and make sure theyre oiled if i was you

I got on a Clipper kick and now have 7. Onyx, rebel, babyliss lithium, gold fx, caliber 50 cal, magic clips, seniors and my favorite is the gold fx the old cheap one with the taper blade. I might try the ergos next

Yeah they’re a solid beginner set
Absolutely alphas are nice as well they cut so clean and they are powerful and quiet and modify for my fun and they are very comfortable

Once the vector is more stable I believe maybe we will see more innovative designs but I don’t think the current technology will ever be replaced,

I know this video is all about stylecraft clippers so my apologies for this question, but I was looking at the the instincts and the rebel, wahl senior metal edition and cordless andis masters. I always use wahl or andis but what is your opinion on a choice between them 4? Thanks
Rebel would be my choice out of those. The boosted seems a little nicer and basically the same

I just always felt like the andis masters blade is so good and my wahl seniors never failed me but going into the cordless world some of the clippers ain’t the same. I’m worried about how long cordless clippers last. From what I see I like the rebels. The instincts look to small for me 😂 I think I’m going to get the rebels and then decide between senior metal editions and masters. That way I’ll have 2 and won’t have to worry lol thanks brother! Another barber in my shop just got a boosted and hers has a different cutter on it than mine does. I got to doing some investigating and can’t find out why but I noticed if you look at gammas stock photos of this clipper, the black one has a deep tooth cutter in the pics and the gold/red have a shallow tooth. Super odd.
Yeah I’m not sure. Pretty sure it’s supposed to come with the shallow tooth on it
@@Seancutshair I emailed them last night and they hit me back. They said they upgraded the cutter to the deep tooth recently.
Need some advice.
I currently use Wahl seniors, babylis lo pro (with a faper blade) and JRL 2020c with a fade blade.
I have wanted to switch up my clippers for a long time (e.g shape etc). I have small hands so always struggle with how clippers feel in my hands. I like the look of the Gamma boosted (but they are the same shape of the magic clips etc), the gamma instinct (because they’re small) and the gamma x-ergo clippers (interest me the most).
Help me out people, many thanks!
Boosted is one of my favorites so can’t go wrong there. I personally hate the instinct because it’s small but you may like it. X ergo is solid probably gammas most used clipper

And what’s your go to trimmer for shape ups/lining up at the moment mate?
Took me weeks--possibly more than a month--of looking around before I finally found a barber supply that actually had the Instinct in stock. I couldn't believe how hard it was to find. After using them for a couple of months, I can say I absolutely LOVE these clippers. Best I've ever used. And I love how small and lightweight they are. But, I am a girl under 5 feet tall with very small hands, so......
Yeah they may be the hardest to find that I’ve seen in a long time

Hey Sean, I am a big fan of your channel.
Just bought a Gamma Boosted based on your advice, but the blade gets quite hot within the fist 5 minutes of use. I am talking about above 104 °F for sure.
Is it normal? I oiled it as much as I could but the problem doesn’t change.
I always switch it to the faper blade so idk but you may try that!
Which is heavier between to babyliss lo pro trimmer and clipper the Stylecraft saber clipper and trimmer

I preorder the instincts and I didn’t like it much, and I definitely felt the extra power kick in quite a bit. However I had some issues with the build because the screws kept getting stripped and the vibrations were so strong they were damaging the lid. It was fun to use at first but then it just got annoying IMO I had two pairs and sold it now I use the ergos and I’m happy

They get a little loud after a while. Never had too much of an issue with heat
What is the difference between Gamma X Ergo and Stylecraft Ergo?
X ergo is slightly upgraded but the body is the same

I’m not a fan of the insinct clippers mostly the saber both clippers and trimmers and I have myXTRIM clippers that have been so good to me and I love the feel and power they fade so smooth but now I’m looking into the ONYX BY JRL AND THE ERGO I HAVE NEVER HAD MY HANDS ON THE JRL ONLY THE ERGO AND I WANT TO GET THEM INTO MY ARSENAL.

Are the Rebels/Boosted that much better than the Ergos?
Ergos are solid but the rebel/boosted is the standard clipper shape and a bit lighter.

It can be grouped with the saber and the mythic. Everybody has their preference, saber is my favorite of the 3
5. Protege
PROS: price, fades well
CONS: weakest of the bunch
4. Saber.
PROS: best looking one, u get of compliments
CONS: heavy
3. X-Ergo
PROS: most comfortable ones, so many lid options, great for detailing and free hand trim, nice run time
CONS: price
2. Instinct
PROS: fades so smooth like butter, very powerful for its size
CONS: price, small and can be uncomfortable, gets noisy with the guards on
1. Rebel/Boosted
PROS: Ultimate fading clipper, comfortable, a do it all clipper
CONS: Rebel will eventually get very loud and the lever can have an issue, had to also get a replacement. As far as the boosters it’s perfect 😂

The Sabers hit!!! The only down side is the weight other than that I think they would make #1. That vector motor is tough but isnt balanced but its only a matter of time before stylecraft makes it better.

Yessir, we're already making improvements to stabilize the internals a bit more on the Instinct.
My dude put a master blade on his ergos they were kind of sick.
Dub back real quick the mythic has the same motor as the x ergo's. I use the sabers to blend I really wanna get mysthics with a fade blade for clearing bulk. I feel like the sabres are do forgiving while maintaining power. I can't believe you blend with a boosted tho bc them boys are so aggressive.
I’m not a fan of the purple guards but I can imagine that was a solid setup
Hey Sean I don't know if you noticed (I only found out recently too) that the Rebel and Boosted actually do have a minor difference in the moving cutting blades. I think it's something got to do with the length of the teeth.

@@RyanAlca yeah on one of Rum Barber's shorts he mentions the Boosted comes with a shallow tooth cutter and the Rebel a deep tooth one. I've always had the Rebel but I always see the boosted being used more that could be a reason people prefer them without realising it
Yeah the rebel comes with the faper and deep tooth blade I believe, fade and shallow tooth on the boosted
The Protege is only 6000 RPMs the Alpha is 7000 RPMs with 4 hours runtime Where the Rebel your favorite is 7200 RPMs with 3 hours of run time I do believe when they came out with the combo it re-released all black instead of the original bronze color it to has the 7000RPMs

Yes. But it s not $300. Walmart $40.i bought a Sony head phone long time ago. I knew lots of Sony made in China .i saw on eBay and description said made in Japan. When I received it & made in China. Really pissed. If the price is $40 said made in Italy. I don’t really mind. If it said Italy and price is 10 times . $300-400. It better be made in Italy. That s the price I’m Willing to spend Back to the head phone. I filed a disputed and the seller agreed to take back or reimbursed. If the Ferrari made in China sell almost the same price as you buy from Italy, would you buy it?

@@thisisthrillz they’re all 3 good. I just prefer the other two over the mythic. Several of my barbers in my shop use the mythic though you’ll be fine 👍🏻
