Thoughts on which trimmer is better… stylecraft instinct or flex?
You have to use a floating lever or take the click mechanism off to use stretch bracket. The cutting blade will fall into the groove 100%
Put a Wahl cutting blade. I cut a couple of small pieces of a Ziploc bag to put in between the cam follower and Wahl ceramic cutter (just enought to cover the hole in the cutting blade) and bam...clicks with the stretch bracket
@@matthewblendztv doesn't change performance or sound. I don't notice any real difference. Just know when I say Wahl cutting blade I mean the senior not the stagger tooth magic clip one. I mean it might work but I haven't tried it...yet

@S.Craft Blendz how are you getting the full benefit of the stretch bracket if you still have the clicks in on the lever?
I was wondering the same thing. His stretch bracket is useless. I mean he still gets to use the master blade but he can’t extend it past that fifth notch. You have to take that ball out and make it a floating lever.

I have s/c rebel masters and they are my go to
I have the stylecraft rebels. Do you know if that same mod would work with out the cutting blade getting caught in the groove of the master blade if fully open???
I don’t think i had a problem with it on my rebels but can’t remember for sure

Mine does fall into that groove. I had to do a little more modifying and actually put a Wahl cutting blade on mine
Do you use the click lever or you took the click off?
@@s.craftblendz730 with the clicks and it opens up all the way without issues. The Wahl cam follower is basically the same but for some reason the gamma/Stylecraft is a couple thousandths smaller. I know it's bootleg but I cut two small rectangles of plastic from like a ziplock bag and put it between the cam follower and cutting blade to negate that small difference.

Tell I me tried to do this blade swap with Master blade but the holes just don't match up even when I buy mod kit it still don't work what's up
Do you have the bracket on it that has 4 holes? The two for the regular blades and the two in the my for the master blades? Should line up perfectly

I’d put the regular bracket on it. Sounds like you may have the stretch bracket on there

The moving blade on this is trash I'm trying to find an actual mod for the moving blade to fit for the Masters or the wahl crunch blade
Got to have them... it was either the Fast Feeds or these. I think I'll go with SC with the Andis blade
