This brief Hindi reflection is about the reason why our state changes from time to time and the ways to stabilise it. A talk by Dr Alok Pandey, for audio recording go to auromaa.org/ (The reason for instability)
We have a number of talks as well as writings on Surrender available at auromaa.org You could go through them and let me know if there are specific questions. What is important is to understand that surrender is a dynamic process and not a passive tamasic attitude wherein we refuse any effort and leave everything in the hands of the Divine. While in principle it is true, in practice one has to make choices and then step by step surrender to the Divine. First we surrender the result in the hands of the Divine while we do our best. Next we surrender our character, our way of being, responses and attitudes to the Divine with an aspiration that all be in alignment with the Divine. It is a detailed and exacting process to be applied to all we do. it implies a radical shift, a change in our motives from satisfaction of desires to the service of the Divine. Finally the very sense of the egoistic personality as the doer has to be surrendered so that one acts only under the impulsion of the Divine Will. One becomes a pure and perfect, faithful and flawless channel and instrument of the Divine Will. It is then the Divine Consciousness takes up more and more the human play and the necessity of personal effort ceases and all action becomes a flawless expression of the Divine in and through the human.
Alok Da, why does there strong attraction towards certain people( friends or relatives) even though they cause restlessness. Part of me wants to stay away but there is strong pull. Is it old habits getting grip. How one should deal.
Sir, request tell me one thing......if you have been here in this yog...then what did you achieve......when I see you online ...I don't see that you are a yogi...or superhuman ...,.if you can't be .....why are you making people's thoughts to look nk with super human
Nobody is asking anyone to believe in anything. It is upto each one to feel their inner calling and find their own path. These talks are of a general nature and are an invitation to explore the truths revealed by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. My being a yogi or a superhuman is not the subject of discussion here nor is it my object to convince anyone about the superhumanity of anyone. Besides in this yoga one is totally discouraged from the idea of being a yogi or superhuman. The term is used for the convenience of understanding rather than as a means to aggrandise the ego which of course would be the most unyogic thing. On a lighter note, is there some standard format or rule book that describes how does a yogi look like or behave like. When Arjuna asked a similar question to Sri Krishna, the Lord of the Gita considered as the Yogayogeshwara refused to give any outer sign or mark including dress and demeanour. He rather insisted that the signs are inner such as equanimity, access to inner knowledge, state of surrender to the Divine, universal love and compassion and suchlike. It is near impossible to recognize a person engaged in yoga by any outer standard. It is only a yogi who can recognize another yogi and none other. Having said that let me reiterate that the purpose of this yoga is not to become a superman (that is incidental) but to grow in the Divine Consciousness, to become a conscious child of the Divine Mother, to be Her instrument and channel in the Divine Service of which the next inevitable step is the transmutation of our humanity into a diviner being.

Such strong attractions are often due to certain affinities in some parts of nature. From the yogic perspective, it is best to get over them.
@@AuroMaa Thank You Alok Da
