this is amazing. i lav this channel’s idea and yes Jonathan and his brilliant insight is a blessing for us. it has been an amazing journey for me: from JBP to JP and finally towards Eastern Christianity ☦️. who else can relate? 🥶😘

JBP was my "Elijah" as well. Lol. I grew up Baptist. Had no idea how rich orthodox Christianity is.

I experienced this shifting view of particularity the first time I flew. Looking out the window at the earth below, I witnessed the change in perception that makes the apparent three-dimensional look two-dimensional. Overall patterns emerged and became more apparent. It was a lovely analogy.

Exactly, like I've debated with atheists, God is not about description, God is about meaning, "The why". So its just categorically incorrect to try to "disprove" God, its not something to be proven or disproven. Its like love, or any other powerful enough "why", that makes you get up each day
    and determinists may say
"Why"? because my system determines it to be so, but thats not a "why", thats a "how". "How" will never be "why". The fact that we as humans ask ourselves "the why" of things, to me its sign of a "divine spark" inside us. Call it a soul, or free will, dualistic or emergent in matter, its doesnt matter (lol), the fact that matter asks itself "why", to me its a divine miracle, and witnessing it is in itself the miracle.
If there is no "why", then why do we ask ourselves why?

I believe God is physically in Heaven. Jesus ascended into Heaven and sits there at the right hand of the Father, and He will return as He left, coming in the clouds, to judge the living and the dead.
Of course every reasonable Christian before the modern and unsubstantiated heresy of Galileo believed this as well.

So when Christ ascended into heavens did he go into the atmosphere? Did he keep going all the way to space? Maybe physically is not the best word.

@@ownagesniper1 physically is the best word. Jesus is God come in the flesh. Anyone who says otherwise is anti-christ. He sits in the flesh in Heaven physically at the right hand of the Father. Logically you can't believe in this fact and in a heliocentric space theory as presented by NASA. Only one is true. But there is actually much more proof that Jesus historically ascended into Heaven above and that the universe is in fact ordered according to the holy scriptures than the paintings and the lies the serpent-tongued NASA has been feeding you.
