Tbh, I do consider Rayo Vallecano an underrated club in the Spanish League, and I kinda like them. And The nickname are very fitting too.
Another weird thing about them, they had an affiliate club in Oklahoma for a while. The Oklahoma club changed it's name after the affiliation ended
As a former watcher of the NASL, (former cosmos fan RIP), there was a year or two when the owner of Rayo Vallecano decided to buy a franchise in Oklahoma City. Rayo OKC was pretty competitive but the same year the USL created the OKC Energy.
They played at my highschool! I remember having to pick up that field every week for football games.
A club that is probably also worth of a video is TSV 1860 München/Munich who were the big rivals of bayern back in the early days of the Bundesliga and they are also a great example of the risks of Investors in football. But thats just a suggestion, i am a big Fan of your content

Rayo started an american club in Oklahoma called Rayo Okc in 2015 I think? I went to one of their games in Yukon, but they folded the same year. It was a strange pairing and I wasn't shocked when it didn't work out.

Looking forward to this video. A suggestion for an upcoming video, which I think would be pretty interesting, is one about New York Cosmos. They had some insane players for some time (Pelé, Beckenbauer,…) and then they just like disappeared for some reason. I’d like to watch a video about them and I think I’m not the only one.

That's a good way to sum up the history of Rayo, Ruiz Mateos made an advertisement once for a flan company in wich he scored wearing Rayo's shirt against the minister who he punched and the referencing said punch as a slogan for the flan dessert, just a beautiful cinematographic piece. Bebé's yesterday strike was amazing sadly it wasn't enough for Rayo to reach the final, Rayo's run in the cup reminded me of Granada's run two years ago.

you should make a video on apoel nicosia. they got to the quarter finals of the champions league in 2011/12 I think and for an island as small as Cyprus that is quite impressive and now they are struggling to keep domestic dominance.
