  • Casey Putsch has done some "horse tradin" and got his Jabberwocky Viper V10 drivetrain back and decided to get a better Lamborghini Countach replica to potentially put it in. He is also selling a 1997 Dodge Stealth RT Twin Turbo and is open to selling his Countach replica and other drivetrains to help support Genius Garage

Put the V10 in backwards T56 trans in the middle, put a S400 75mm turbo on it and go AWD! Honestly that's my plan except a tube frame 80s dodge truck 😎

  • @KeelyAnn491

I'm in the Toledo area but I totally don't know how to work on a Lamborghini with no engine. But seriously, if I had like a ton of money I'd just buy that empty countach in the hopes of getting it to run one day.

  • @lear60man

Former supercar owner here. I 100% get the vision of the Countach....no worries of door dings or expensive things breaking. Just drive it and have fun. Some people look down on 'kit cars' but they have never seen the build qualities of the originals. So yea, built it up and get it on the road.

  • @pjccwest

I live in Ireland, if I was there I'd be honoured to accept being invited to swing a few spanners with Casey. And do some fundraising or whatever for Genius Garage.

  • @user-lp8pg6ld3s

Your video makes this project seem a lot more interesting than the first post about it. Hope you sell it all and get some extra time with the family. If I was local I’d come wrench for you. Whichever way it goes, good luck!

  • @jeffreyoldham55

I like that body style of the Countach because it has the round bottom/rockers. Since I live close to your buddy Chris Ardern, I'm pretty much on the other side of the state from you. If I were on your side of Cleveland I would be all over the offer to work at Genius Garage. Keep creating. Keep posting, Casey! Your content is always appreciated.

An LS V8 with a flat plane crank kit would be awesome, or a Ford VooDoo flat plane V8 would be awesome too.

  • @fixyourautomobile

We have abnormally similar taste. Lately my obsessions have been Viper GTS's, Lotus Esprit's, and Countach kit cars from the depths of middle America. I'll be ending up with one of those three, or a 944/914 For a V8 Swap from one of my veehickols.

  • @jessicaandadamlawson4979

I had a 96 3000GTVR4 that received a JDM GTO motor after I popped the stock one. These cars are a blast to own. Wish I had the cash. Great deal there

  • @barryrhoads2206

Setup the Countach like the Omega using diesel.

  • @FuriousMess

Get hold of Cletus McFarland about that Viper rig Casey, it's up his alley. Maybe Steve Morris Engines or Tom Bailey would be interested in it as well.

  • @StevenDurette-bq7zd

Casey - you could delete the Power steering pump... and go electric power steering and pick up a bit more space. Might be able to do that with AC as well - or use a smaller compressor.

  • @motoxmainia

Man the Prova would be a friggin sweet build.Maybe some sort of roof scoop for the intake.I hope you decide to build it

  • @Mark6Ironman

Hope you find a good home for those cars and get to focus on what matters to you. I was also curious if you ever upgraded the water pump on Goose? I just did my water pump, thermostat, and hoses on my 2001 Viper R/T10. The upgraded pump from Havik Performance has an aluminum impeller (instead of plastic) with better flow than stock. Just food for thought...

  • @AutomatedUser

those tillett seats are beautiful. That v10 would require extensive mods to the glass tub of that coutach.... but a short stroke 4.8l ls truck crank in a big bore ls block would give good characteristics for the car with a wacky rev range, and some fancy 180 degree headers would give off a nearly flat plane sound with looks to compliment the car as a whole. It's still an LS which is about the least unique choice, but its common for a reason and a destroker is a rare combo. Nobody likes to build for the high rpm musical glory it seems.

  • @tomeksliwinski4162

Keep hope alive good things still to come

  • @blacksheep4000

If I was around your area I would love to come out and learn things I don't know and hang out with a very knowledgeable person. I turn wrenches I'm just no where near your expertise in building things.

  • @Jackson6

Not sure how far away Tom’s Refurb is from you, but Tom would be such a cool collaboration on this channel. You guys both love hot rodding and it could be a cool project to post on both channels.
