I went out an purchased my 19 GS M7 just as soon as I learned the C8 was unavailable with a manual trans. Love it. Just absolutely love my GS, it's a keeper. The C8, not so much.

Big trucks do this to me all the time. Highway is 2 lanes in this area, two people go exactly 55-60 (speed limit is 55) and you can't pass them because they are both going the same speed and constantly dip then speed back up. Had a big dump truck brake check me and flip me off today because I passed him after he was hogging the left lane with four cars lined up behind him.

Really enjoying watching this build from start to finish Casey, fair play to you man. This bike may not be the fastest or most exotic machine out there, but for many of us who were young men when Tom Gun first came out, this bike lighted a spark inside us, which we long to recreate even once in our lives.

Even when I'm careful not to tailgate behind a left lane camper, I try to instead flash my lights and it almost always ends up with them brake checking me.

Reading this comment section makes me genuinely afraid of the US. Let me summarize what I've found here: People are generally assumed to be stupid and you have to be prepared, people are competitive, people don't like being overtaken, people drive wherever they like and sit proudly on that hill of liberty, people have next to no driving education. Here in Germany we have a very different driving culture. First, the driving schools are much more sophisticated, a german driver's licence is on another level than from US. Second, the rules are much stricter, you are generally not allowed to drive on the left lane, unless you are overtaking. Period. Exceptions are when you are going REALLY fast and therefore it is more convenient and safe to just stay on the left lane, but that's not for normies. You generally assume that people behave well in traffic (enforced, also taught better in driving schools), therefore you can sort of count on them. That gives us germans an extra opportunity to righteously complain about people that misbehave, we love to complain after all. And lastly, we germans are not so competitive on the road, an overtake is fine as long as you do it from the left on a reasonably safe road.

People in left lane slow is annoying, but lets not equate it for being the reason why American highways are dangerous. Licenses are given out like candy. Everyone drives, theirs no public transit. Everyone drives a 10k lb SUV with bad sight radius, and excessive speed is still the number a reason for vehicle fatalities. Also people like you are too busy on the phone making videos or playing with the touchscreen in their car. So glad my state gives tickets in the mail when people speed. Also the speed limit is a rock solid law, whether its enforced to the full extent is a different story. Don't care what your officer friends say. And what pace you believe is safe. You're not as knowledgeable as you think you are. You're kind of the uppity prikk in lambo i would expect to make a video like this.

holy shit I think this is helping me understand how to drive stick. My parents only ever said stuff along the lines of "you arent giving it enough gas" But they dont know how cars work so they couldnt ever say more than that and couldnt explain or break down what to do and what not to do in order to drive. I just bought a 06' Scion TC and was having the hardest time trying to drive it from stop to first and just kept stalling the engine over and over and over. But watching this video has given me some VERY helpful tips along with watching your other videos on tips about driving a manual. Getting the theory on how cars and manual transmissions actually work has been so helpful for me.
