Maradona today would have 60 goals a year. What a titan! He is football.
He was a midfielder and he would be unplayable

@@cityslacker6221 I don't think you know what "unplayable" means.
@@EnclosedPoolArea actually, i don't think you do... but you do you my guy
No, he wouldn't. He would be the same Maradona who you would know was a great player without bringing up stats. Thank goodness people weren't obsessed with stats when a genius like Zidane around. Otherwise, there'd be trolls on social media claiming how Kai Havertz was better Zidane for scoring a hat trick in the league cup against a team from the lower leagues. Maradona is great because I couldn't tell you how many goals he scored in his career, but yet, I know he could possibly be the best of all time. The fact that he wasn't padding his stats against Andorra, Tahiti, Gibraltar, Lithuania...is useless to me.
Maradona was so so good it was actually amazing to witness. Never seen skills like it. Frightening.
It was Diego Maradona inspired me to play football.
The guy is and was a legend. I am 50 and for my generation there is only one: MARADONA.
DIEGO MARADONA FUNERAL czcams.com/video/eQYOEIIP1OY/video.html
Yup. He was the reason I fell in love with football. The 1986 WC, the best WC for me.
I remember to this day how disappointed i was, when Argentina lost to Germany in 1990 Italia World Cup final. I was only 13 years at the time
For me he's the greatest of all time ,.no one comes close , vision , passing skills , dribbling ability, dead ball , desire , emotion ,. leadership, inspiration. No one else in his category
It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. RIP Diego Maradona.
DIEGO MARADONA IS ALIVE czcams.com/video/eQYOEIIP1OY/video.html !
Diego never dies. he is always with us.
This man would play with a broken swollen ankle. This man would still dribble past opponents even when they would kick him all game. Paid him 5 million. Now players are over paid, toe nail hurts? Not playing next game. Hard tackle from the back, clear foul. Gets paid 200 million. Times are different. This man is a beast.
What player gets paid 200 million a year?

@@notjhoan i was trying to make a point. Futbol now has changed. Its all about getting a haircut before the match when it should be thinking about the match. The pitch now is always perfect, back then you did not know what you would find. Transportation aswell, Now players only travel in the best of everything.
The greatest of the greats

Truth...
If Diego was playing in this age at his absolute pomp..OMMFG!!! In this stat driven age his numbers would've been off the charts..All the footballing beauty that God can bestow upon a mortal man ..Was in in Diego..R.I.P Diego Armando Maradona
Maradona the best in the game of football R I P my hero the world greatest player of the game 😡😡😡😡😭😭😭😭😭😭😱😱😱😱😱🤧🤧🤧😭😭😓😭😪😪😪😪😤😤😤😭😭😭😭😭
Don’t forget the time when Maradona played. The players were far away from being as well protected then as they are today. The game was rougher, harder and sometimes unfair. And the pitches weren't as smooth then as they are today. For me he remains the best footballer in the world! Messi is a beautiful, nice copy. But he doesn't come close to Maradona's charisma and importance!
The greatest player of all time. RIP Diego Maradona
Without a doubt! He was unbelievable!
R.I.P. D10S... we'll love you forever
Every game Maradona played was a prime time.
A LEGEND HAS GONE TOO SOON, GREW UP WATCHING HIM PLAY THE BEST SPORT IN THE WORLD. IT HURTS WORDS CANT EXPLAIN.
Diego was a leader. That's what made the difference.
You know, we hear so much news of celebrities passing away these days. All are equally sad. This one just hit hard and hurts very bad.. Rest easy Diego..

Thank you Diego for everything
Diego for real actually danced with the ball 😪
Diego is the greatest of all time !! For me he's the greatest of all time ,.no one comes close , vision , passing skills , dribbling ability, dead ball , desire , emotion ,. leadership, inspiration. No one else in his category
Whether he's greatest or not is beside the point. That he moved the passions of hundreds of millions of football aficionados with his play, is more important ...to give folks the sense of his genius . And he loved the game so much and so passionate about it even after his playing days were over, it glowed like the Northern Star. Rest in peace, may the Lord's angels accompany you
He is the greatest, no question!
The greatest - unmatched in pure genius
I just love the passion these people express while talking about Maradona; special mention to the girl who pronounces the "Argentine" names so properly. That's profesionalism.
It feels like a family member goes away for that ones who loves him .. our captain !
If Maradona was playing competitively today,he would be winning the Ballon d'Or every year.
If Diego plays today he would have 15 golden Ball.
Everyone that met him said diegos hugs were the best! Love you Diego I will miss you much> thank you for all the joy you brought to my life.
cant b
Those warmups were freaking poetry!
People needs to read about him. Watch him
Why he is regarded as the GOAT outside of stats. What he did for Argentina, how never has there been a World cup such dominated by one man and won for his nation. World stage. Against England - backstory of the Falklands '82. Put him out of Arg team and Napoli - ponder if they would have won at all. It was his great leadership, charisma, his desire and guidance - that's what seperates him from Messi/other players. How can you quantify such impact for a nation/ city that was looked down upon over longevity in great teams or consistency over long years?
Different gravy.
Then, what he did with Napoli. Magical stuff - 2 Serie A title with gap in between so not a one-off like Leicester. In the 80's - probably the best league in the world at that time. They still haven't won it since he's left Italy.
Then what you will see at the end and understand why this man was worshiped like a God. Treated like one. The greatest of all times - my father swears he's never seen a better player. He will be talked about for hundred of years to come, legends never die.
What a player he was. RIP.
Thats what people don't get about the football in the 80s and 90s. It was physical and almost ferocious. They used to kick, grab, etc just to stop him.
Rest in Peace El Diego. The greatest footballer of all time. A person so larger than life, but yet to relatable to the masses

Gracias Diego
By far the best ever, he was really unbelievable!
Rest in heaven. Legend !!!!
RIP champ you will always be the greatest footballer I’ve ever seen. I am 44 years old, I’ve seen a lot of footballers since 1984, but Maradona is different, he was the greatest footballer of all time. RIP dear Maradona. We will never forget you
You are gretest player all time . you are gods gift for world foodball.
Maradona one of the greatest: Rip MARADONA
Number 1 by a mile🏴🏴🕺🕺🍾🍾
Diego was so unique & unbelievable. What a fantastic player. His every touch of the ball was magical. If he played today, he would be even bigger with today's rules of the game and would score at least 70 - 80 goals in a season. Can you imagine him being trained like Cristiano Ronaldo without any bad habits etc... ? Even his presence on the field would push his teammates to win the game. He was the most talented player world has ever seen and will never see again anyone like him. Everybody used to be enchanted when he got the ball on his left foot in a game. No other player in the history of soccer has attracted as much attention as he did. He was also a very good hearted man who used to help anyone who needed help. RIP DIEGO, you will always be the GREATEST OF ALL TIMES !!
Far to early we lost this legend. RIP
Everyone is going to be watching this warm-up video with Toto Cutugno playing in the background. Neapolitans have been watching this video for decades. I am glad that the world and new generations are finally getting around to seeing it and appreciating it. He was God with any object he could juggle. Maradona could juggle a foozball, a sports bottle, an orange, a toy car, if he could balance it on his foot, he could juggle it. He could pop up a ball and put it in the corner of the goal with his back to it from 40 yards out...there will never be another Diego Armando Maradona.
He was the Mohammed Ali of football-Irreplaceable.
A Legend🇦🇷🕊🙏

yes.He was the boss..R.I.P
Carragher gotta chill becouse if Maradona playied today iconic moments like the Hand of God wouldn’t exist, why you gotta analyze this by the time he played compared to today’s players, the man has his own time, he’s the best in it and one of the greatest to touch a football if not the greatest, he’s seen like a God to many, not only in Argentina, but even in Europe too, one of the most gifted footballers, and the polemics he has been his whole life with drugs, woman’s, basically a Rockstar life turn him into a bigger figure than he already was... May you rest in piece Legend.
Rip diego .. no clear debate to top you .. bro ..🌹
R.I.P
it is no one can be maradona even messi,cr7 and Pele why
Messi- lacks the 🔥 that maradona had for the country
Cr7-lacks the magic of foot that DM had
Pele- similar kind of Messi lacks the 🔥 as a captain to stand for team to protect them on the field that's why no one can be maradona
As a Messi fan
Rip 🙏
Maradona was a fucking demon on the ball. He blurred the line between theory and practice. In theory a player can do that. In practice, only players like Maradona can do that.
I'm actually quite surprised Diego made it o his 60th birthday. That dude "partied very hard.
RIP🙏
Carragher is spot on!
There's a vid with Maradona doing keepy uppys with a drinks can I was gob smacked it was amazing to see
For all the people in 20-35 we can all say our parents favourite footballer was Maradona.
GOD. THE GREATEST EVER.
The thing with D10S is that in so many ways he is just normal like us with our normal habits yet in many ways he is actually eternal to us,if that makes sense !!
Should've reflected by making a professional compilation with commentary
🐐
Maradona + all players = Maradona
😭😭😭
😢
To keep it simple-
In every football team the best player was called Maradona.
COURSE HE IS THE GOAT 🐐 THERE IS NO COMPARISON WHATSOEVER !!
UCL on CBS? What is this?
Micah Richards...Mr. GQ.
God is omnipresent they say, he is everywhere, therefore I believe Diego was one, or sent to us by god.
First Kobe now Diego, this year just gets fucking shitier
The man handpicked by god to play football
Carra and that scouser accent
@4:42 ah come on Jamie, just shut up man, I wonder if you have at least 10% of his skill, he’d rip you apart if you’re defending him I guess
U r from India , ap
Carragher should shut up, Who else gets more respect than Maradona.... nobody
Now what’s??! Are the Brazilian supporters going to keep singing "Maradona snif...Pelé the champion" now that he is gone ???
I guess he's in God's hands now.😆😆
Imagine 2022 maradona is 24. Jesus who could afford him 😂😂
