Once they are in the barn he is holding them at the door so I can come inside w grain and not get run over by all the goats cause they will do that if you are without a dog 😂 We only feed this grain to the goat moms and goat kids so we have to sort the others out. Great question !

Exactly my thoughts. I am very involved in dog rescue from mainly Romania right know. Saving them from the kill shelter. I am financially maxed out sponser them to live in no kill shelter. Have 4 at hone and think all the tine how I could save more. Seeing video from Raventree lifts my spirits. Seeing something so cool and no worries ❤
While Dex begins his creep into the barn to do his job to keep the kids and does in their separated quarters; on his right shoulder/side is a larger goat standing guard and a little kid peering round the edge of the doorway. In the meantime, Dex has herded the kids with the does into the feeding area. Dex then peers around the edge of that section wall, looking for any stragglers, or unwanted billys or animals not meant to be in this designated area. I love the creeping and peering by the dog and kids, mostly looking out for each other! Sweet, funny, encouraging. Everyone is in the right places doing what they are suppose to! 👍🥰❤🐐🐐❤🐕🦺❤

The dogs on this farm are better at their jobs than most humans. They honestly save a lot of time, energy and money doing what they’re genetically engineered to do. All the farm animals are obedient and exactly where they’re supposed to be, doing what their part, while fully protected by the “I wish a coyote would” crew… I’m a city girl, but clearly this is an excellently run farm.

And he also knows that GENTLE must go with stealth for the Littles~AND sadly, herding is not necessary 24/7 LOLOLOL!!! I cannot thank u enough for capturing these moments~they have made it so we are head over heels invested and IN LOVE WITH, all the fantastic creatures that call Raventree Ranch their home! These moments NEVER fail to make me smile and laugh out loud! #GreatStuff! PS They are all just so freaking adorable! The goats and their socialization is fantastic to observe!
I never get tired of watching Dex creep! I think it's amazing how lazer focused he stays til his task is done and then can turn off that focus and play with the rest of the team! Amazing! 😊😊😍

Dex and Judge are perfectly matched 😅. The music is perfect for his stalking. He is doing such a great job and those videos from them are really entertaining. My favorite is of course Judge ❤

These videos really explain my brother’s dog’s behavior. He’s a border collie/lab mix from the animal shelter, and he LOVES chasing other animals into corners. Once he gets them there, he wouldn’t hurt a fly, though. He just sits down next to them 😂

I had a pound puppy from 8 weeks to 16 years who was half border Collie and half schnauzer. Boy, was he intense! He would do do the border collie crawl too. I sure miss my soul dog.
