- Today we are doing some Mig/Flux on pipe using one of my favorite guns from Abicor Binzel. We are going to do a Mig root pass and then finishing it up with flux all the way out!
If you want to check out the Abicor Binzel guns I used here is a link www.binzel-abicor.com/US/eng/... - Jak na to + styl

what happen to him?
Brother… thanks a million.
I have always welded structure always been scared of taking a pipe test. I got a job offer paying 32 dlls an hour so I was watching this video the night before the test. And well you know the rest.. I’m buying some welding caps right now and some FR shirts cause I start Monday. The video helped out brother thanks
This video just landed me a 28$. Thanks weld tube! Great job guys!
Raul Vizcaino was it the same test? 6” schedule 80 pipe?
LoL I have a test next week for this at the same wage.
Are they hiring right now
Congrats! 🎈
Same test coming up Friday for the same rate of pay
Don't put yourself down. If it passes inspection /test, it IS perfect. Nice work buddy.
If it holds and nobody gets hurt AND you get paid it's all good or perfect lol
Wish this dude was still on this show, awesome welder 👨🏭
What happen to him they never said what happen
Bro I’d love to know that too
@@jarrodmartin2204he went to go work somewhere, that’s why he left weldtube but he was the best instructor there hands down
Just watching your videos helps me learn new techniques in Stick/Flux-core/ Mig. I work as a Structural welder out the field & in the fab-shop, Great videos. Keep up the gd job bro.
Best 6g mig and flux video online. Thank you very much for making it.👍👍💯💯💰💰
Well you just got a fan4life. I've been welding forever 25 years it's been awhile since I ran Mig and flux core filling cap. I've got a fantastic job opportunity this Friday without your video I don't think I would have made it just been so long I kind of forgot.
Incredibly professionally done you do a fantastic job thank you thank you thank you and keep up the good work young man you're doing fantastic!!!!!
Great demo. The right info and no extra bs. Well done
These videos help a lot hadn’t run wire in 6 years not a clue what to set the machine at for my test today. Watched this video the night before and passed the next day
Great video! This really helped my students to see what the puddle should look like as its burning into the root.
Thanks you are the best instructors starting to begging and end so you are the one again continue your blog don't stop it

i love the zero g videos. although you have made lots, please continue to video the open face welds. i do love 3/32 landings tho
Just tested $28/hr. Passed! Thanks for the video!
Muy bien gracias por enseñar..thanks for teaching
This dude is sharp!
look good tanks for share your skills.
Excelente pase de raiz , tienes buena mano, felicidades !
Now yall can disagree with me, but in my opinion and opinions of the old guys who taught me all my welding skills, I'd NEVER do circles with a fluxcored wire, due to the chance of slag inclusions. I'd do a weave but stay on the front edge of the puddle but not circles where you come back into the puddle.
Justin Hall as long as you’re not over exaggerating and are keeping the with the puddle any movement you do with fluxcore will be fine as the slag stays molten
Cory Knowles - Yep as long as that puddle is hot and wet you’ll be fine. Little tiny circles to get coverage is fine.
yeah, that's what I was taught too, a slight weave on uphill, a bit like: (|(|(|(|(|(|(|(|(| - with "(" passing the tip of its arch over "|"
Like he said “Personal preference”
Yea you couldn't step far but as long as that puddles tight you can get away with alot. I do shell sections on rotary kilns. It's all 100% x-ray.
Buena explicación compita . Eres muy Ben soldador saludos
was waiting for this👍
@@trmn8trx131 what do you mean

HIGH SALUTE TO YOU SIR I LEARNED A LOT FROM YOU AND ON YOUR CHANNEL..KEEP IT UP MORE POWER SIR.. GOD BLESS
Definitely a fan of your videos. I'm looking for a very well explained video on RMD,, I figured u can help me out with that
Well done , i ll learned a lot in this vid 😎😎
Honour to have watched this video very good tutorial you have a good way of explaining in detail the process of mig I thoroughly enjoyed watching it nice one bro you definitely no how to lay that metal down

“Burn learn and eventually will earn !” 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thats smell of mig & flex, peace feeling
Excellent
Damn Bro that's slick
Buen vídeo amigo!
Good. Weld sir keep up the good work
Wish I had access to this video 7 years ago for a weld test. Nobody had ever asked me to do a root pass with a wire fed process before and it was 6gR.
That ring really will mess with you got to be on your game to pass that one
Thanks!
Good welding.
He heard our prayersz!!!!!
Man, that looks like a nice gun! Might have to buy myself a present. Maybe a Christmas gift from me to me. I have been good this year.
Good video my friend, now where's that like button?
Nice video bro
Very helpful
Muito bom esse processo
Ran this test today but on 4in sch 40 I found it pretty hard but that’s probably because I’ve been running duelshield on structural for the last five years not much pipe but I was feeling like Superman because I ran a 2in sch 40 aluminum then stainless then carbon all in GTAW and bent out went to the mig and set the gap at a 1/8 in wit the 3/32 root face
If only this came.out back in June
Great welds and love the decals on the hood, reppin the good Lord is the only way to go!
How would you do the root if the pipe was already tacked with a bigger gap like 3/16 and had no root face? I tried dragging but it's hard and you tend to get whiskers. Plus, do you have any tips on how to tie in on a pipe like that?
@@krs1732 no need to turn the heat down when you see the key hole getting big stop for a second and before the puddle cool down pull the triger and do couple of c's and and repeat the same thing over until youre able to controll with out stopping
Right on Brother 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😁
Esab wire- Dual shield I presume. 75/25 gas?
Thanks!
I like this video
Good video thanks these are getting me through Tulsa Welding School because I am definitely not getting the help I need there
Henry Bresyn I went to the same school man and I agree the place is pretty trash
Same thing here bud 🤠
nice job 6G
this was exactly what I was looking for... I got a new job but never did Root pass or flux wire D:
Nice👍
The Best...🔥
Would be good to note the wire size, i assume you’re using 0.35 based on your settings, 0.45 seems to be what companies are using more often. Settings would be a lot different in that case
It’ll shoot! 👊🏻💥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Not perfect, but fantastic anyway, looks Great, Fine Job. 😃😃😃 Thanks for your expertise
Nice wldink guru prfect
.045” 7100 esab dual shield flux wire? Gas shielded. Some of the prettiest solid flat beads one can lay down.
Hey man I love the videos I’m a big fan of all your work. But I’m in need of you doing a video on a penetration 6gr flux core test, bevel to flat pipe.
excelente tu video, pero no dejas ver el amperaje ni voltaje de la maquina para saber como graduar la maquina saludos soy un fiel seguidor de colombia
🙏⚘🥀🌹🌺very good i learn you vidio u such a great
@weldtube have you tested out one of them Lincoln STT migs?
I never grind the root pass before I lay down the flux.
For the mill 252 , what voltage would you use for a fill pass /w .035 wire .( just use the 17.5 @ 195ish for the hole thing or would you change it ?) 6" sch80 pipe . what would be a good gap size between the 2 pipes
Hi, brother, I like them. all your videos, I would like to know if it is possible to make the root pass with fluxcored, thank you
Hey bro do yall sale pipe coupons if so how can i get some thanks and keep the videos coming love them
My company does a 6G with a restrictor. All mig .045 Lincoln wire
Any tips
Круто! Молодец!👍
Sir i have a question the downhill on mig is that the standard welding procedure ?or there is also uphill position welding procedure?
This is very nice experience
That intro song sound hard
could you do a video on 6g 12 inch pipe with 7010 hyp rod with single bead puddle cap...
No good root bro, the rest is realy awesome👌👌
Was that suck back on the bottom right side of the root?
I have a weld test Friday Feb 8 2019. 6g position weld 2 inch 160 wall. I have only use a postioner when using this process. Can I walk to cup in a position weld like you would with a positioner? ? Please help. I have no way of practicing before the test
Hello had a question about the setting is it the same for 5 inch heavy wall
5:15 17.5 volts 195ws👍
Was there a cool down period? I’ve been running .072 self shield on structural and you really can’t lay beads back to back
17.5 volts 195 wire speed MIG root
I see your land was 3/32 what was your gap on the 6",thanks.
thanks for the study, I want to learn welding, but money is the barrier. can you teach me the advantages of welding. I am in Indonesia
утянуло на потолке, провалился корешок, да и облицовка не очень, но спасибо за видео, информативно...)
What is voltage/wire speed settings in capping?
Make tutorial of position 6GR with Fluxcore or Smaw!!
