    this is a 2g pipe weld on 2 inch schedule 80
    35 degree bevels with 1/8" gap using 1/8" er70s6 filler rod
    100 amps all the way out with 1/8" er70s6

    You might not see this but your videos helped me tremendously early in my career back in 2009. I ultimately became I highly skilled specialty pipe welder that welded just about everything. Later I became a CWI and then a QC manager. Currently I build high end custom pocket knives the skills I learned in the welding industry helped me greatly in that transition. Thank you for your dedication to the trade.

      Yeah man basically same here, from pipe to world class custom yacht towers and handrails and everything in between literally everything, I got to spend a couple years with the east coast anodized savant haha

      Me too man i used to tune in all the time like after school waiting to go to welding school id watch what ever was new and learn anything i loved it so i remember a lot not all the numbers though

    Even though this is the third time I’ve watched this video, I’m still finding it of great benefit. And I’m sure I’ll be watching it a few more times at least. The arc shots are phenomenal - it’s the old saying of a picture being worth a thousand words. That’s an understatement on a video like this. Many thanks Jody and Andrew.

      Often times it’s a toss up but I think a 5/32” filler might have been better for a single. Andrew just decided to do 2
