    Dang man you are steady! I cannot freehand without my torch hand resting against the pipe. I also love how thick you lay your roots, something I need to work on. As always, thanks for the great example you set for us!!!

      Hey man how u doing, I have a question, how do you rest your hand on the pipe without cooking your hand? I always struggle with that

      @@leftymariano1020 I only freehand when laying the root, so I hold the torch really close to the cup.

    Aí sim mestre mais uma bela apresentação de passe de raíz com um exemplo de como trabalhar o material de adição dentro do tubo por cima é manter o grau certo da tocha e formatizar uma boa raiz em questão da amperagem está na agilidade do soldador principalmente no bocal colado obrigado pela apresentação 🇧🇷🙏

    Hey man, thank you for another great video.. I was wondering about your tungsten choice.. 2% Lanthinated seems to always give a consistent arc for me, but I was wondering if you like to change your tungsten type based on your material or application.. You are the jedi master so any info you could share would be greatly appreciated!

    • @X3MTIG
      @X3MTIG  Před 10 měsíci +2

      I just started using Lanthinated recently , and I would agree on arc consistency, and initial arc starts seems to be way better. Using Zirconiated Tungsten for Aluminum, and Pure Tungsten for aluminum plates and non code works. That’s it pretty much for me, unless it’s specified differently in WPS…

    Hello again and happy holidays 🎄 😉.
    Finally some free time for resting and checking your awesome videos.
    Looking trough the gap technique on 5:55 scene is so steady!
    Did you prop your torch hand finger on the flange to reduce shaking during that scene?
    It's not so visibile because of the torch flash, that is why i'm asking.
    All the best in the upcomming year, and as always, thanks for sharing your expience, means a lot, to beginers such as i am.

    • @X3MTIG
      @X3MTIG  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Hey bro, thanks for your comment, and no I didn’t rest my hand on the flange, it’s free hand. I try to be real as possible and I will never do something if I can’t do it myself! All the best in new year and see you in the next one 🥂

    Big man, tell me, how the hell u r able to target your wire in that puddle? When i’m trying to hit wire in my puddle i can hit it every where but not in the correct place. It’s driving me crazy. Also want to say that i’m incredibly suprised how steady hand u’ve got when free hand whelding. Nice one, as olways good tips and video. Keep the great job.

      Thanks, I appreciate your comment. Having steady hands, means; no alcohol, sleep well and eat good… also lots of experience involved to get to that point.
