@@toefungus8664 Yup Created it back in 2011 but it only got traction in the Sonic Comic fan circle. It wasn’t until I put it on iFunny in 2015 that it blew up! The original quote is “The only downside to being faster than the speed of light? You always live in darkness.” And it was Tails crying and hugging Sonic after Cosmo died, But the words purposely took up the majority of the screen. The joke was multi layered. It was making fun of poorly made memes, but at the same time it was well written, so that it was an oxymoron making it even worse. It was making fun of how Overly Serious and *EDGY!!!* people were and still are being with memes.(If you’re just showing me a guy getting murdered on live leak, you’re not edgy, you’re messed up because you’re literally laughing at a guy getting his brains blown out!) It was making fun of how seriously the Sonic fans can take things. It was also about how silly The Sonic series can be at times. & It was about how the internet perceives Sonic and his fans, and just how toxic both the Sonic fans are and how toxic the internet is(to them even) as well. When it wasn’t getting traction I thought about how putting it on iFunny could make the already purposely bad meme even worse, because then it would have the Watermark! Well when I put it there, *IMMEDIATELY* people started stealing it and claiming it as their own, but they were cleaning it up and making it better, which goes against the whole point of the joke. So I made multiple accounts and started leaving comments on how they should redo the meme but in a certain way.(Flat out telling some people it should be worse because it’s funnier.) And eventually over 2 months I was able to single handedly force and control *BOTH* Sonic fans and meme culture! Tasks that were literally thought to be impossible. And seeing the original being miss quoted to this day(which plays into the purposely bad nature of the meme) makes Me *EXTREMELY HAPPY!!!*
Actually, when you move faster than light, all you see is light, depending on where you're facing. If you're rinning backwards, it's darkness. If you're running forward, it's light, because you're still passing through light and it's still entering his eyes, except it's at a speed and inconsistency that all it will look like is simply a bright blur since all of the types of light are mingling together inside of his eyes.

I find it funny that Death Battle tried to nerf Archie Sonic and Buff Wally west, and have him be killed by time travel... Despite the fact that the blue dude literally survived a beam that could destroy the space-time continuum and survived a chaos energy beam from a Pan Dimensional God in base. One of the things I don't like about Death Battle is that many people considered it to be the end all be all when they either get the wrong research, the wrong outcome, or sometimes both. And it seems that they don't give a hoot if they're wrong or not.

And you can also argue that it can revert his speed and willingness to fight to 0 and can prevent him from transforming and always keep him in base.the fact that ger can exist outside of the plane that sonic exist in. Plus sonic in base won't have the durability to survive ger hits at max plus ger is able to shoot projectile's at Sonic by breaking up the ground and use rocks. Ger is able to send them at light speed as well.

Although, I think IDW/Forces Sonic could at least stand somewhat equal to archie Sonic. Especially considering that modern Sonic as of Forces is as strong in his base form as he was initially in his super form

We can come up with an educated guess but there’s no official source on that so as of right now that doesn’t exist and can’t be included. Excalibur is basically just Sonic’s base form but armored and with a sword anyway so itms not much different from Hyper.
Base Sonic is definitely universal. He consistantly scales to the power of a single chaos emerald. One chaos emerald can maintain the existence of a zone, create, or destroy one. He even scales to Knuckles, who is stated multiple times to have the power of a chaos emerald within him
Also, no offense, but putting Sonic anywhere near boundless for destroying a universe or even an infinite amount of universes makes no god damn sense. Don't you know what boundless means?
It's poetic how the strongest version of Sonic and Goku circles back to their base forms. It implies that once you master all your full potential (or get VERY close to it), the final form becomes them and they are the final form, it's not them becoming the form like it usually is. It shows that their strongest form is themselves, once they realize it.
Change State Goku is the strongest canonical MORTAL Goku not UI. He was so strong Shenron had to remove him from reality. And Yes GT is canon toriyama confirmed it. Then Goku goes further and becomes a magic timeless immortal god by absorbing the dragonballs thus fusing with Shenron Both have Goku in his regular state so even tho youre wrong about the strongest Goku, you are still right in the analogy

To explain how OP Archie Sonic is, he ran through 1000 universes in a single day (including the space between universes), tanked a blast from a machine that created multiple universes point blank, can phase through things by vibrating really fast, and warped reality with speed alone. All of these feats were done without his super form or chaos control. He can essentially move faster than Goku can think and would have enough momentum kill him in a single blow in base form.
I’ve been reading Archie Sonic since 93. My first issue was in fact issue 1. I purchased the entire series and even have double or triple copies of key issues, the Specials, mini-series, you name it. My favorite issues were 0-3, 1-50, 161- until the end of its era. But I REALLY enjoyed the era post-Genesis Wave. Really wish Archie didn’t drop the ball and didn’t renew the publishing clause. Really wish Ian could have completed what he envisioned within Segas boundaries.
@@drifter402 even though the IDW era doesn’t have the Archie cast, it still feels like a faithful continuation from Ian’s previous stories. Other than a few key characters that were part of the Archie era cast, (such as Uncle Chuck and Snively) I dont miss the Archie characters and the old loose plot lines anymore.
tried to get into idw sonic. dosent feel the same to me. I will say the art is constantly good unlike archie but the cast for archie was A1. after collecting the first 5 or 6 issues of idw I was like I'm good.
Mentioning the Super Scourge part, Sonic also took hits from his own Super Form in issue 126 (after he stopped the Quantum Dial, he was rocketed to another planet that had their own set of Chaos Emeralds. He tried to use them to turn Super, but the Super Form was separate from Sonic and possessed a Fleetway-like personality). Also, you gotta talk about how powerful Darkspine Sonic is.

He didn't actually get blasted through space. He just got sucked into the wormhole. Literally no one else around him got sent to the planetoid he ended up on, and he is consistently beaten up by Eggman's robots which are only mountain level.
Ian Flynn literally stated the archie sonic world is infinites of infinites meaning there are unlimited universe and multiverses. One of the villains is said to have crushed millions of multiverse zones. It didn't say multi universe zone. That's insane.

I wouldn’t bet on it. Seeing as how badly Sonic Team is messing up, they’ll most likely just screw up a Archie Sonic game to. Archie Sonic should stay as they are, and be only in the comics.
There's also the fact that once Sonic collected his one billionth Power Ring, he was blessed by the Ancient Walkers (basically the gods of Chaos) with a unique aura that essentially made him unkillable, in the sense that no matter how dire the situation, fate would somehow intervene to keep Sonic alive. Archie Sonic has casual fate manipulation, and he doesn't even know about it! Mogul, the guy who could crush universes, flat out admitted to Sonic's face that no matter what he did, he would not be able to kill Sonic, and that the only way he COULD truly beat Sonic was to use his immortality to outlive him. Eggman would also figure this fact out, and would essentially give up on trying to kill Sonic, but instead just break his spirit, or rewrite reality to try to change these effects.

Theres also the fact that throughout most of the time researching both characters, Sonic was getting the dub by a landslide but *someone* came last minute and said that the Speed Force was higher than The Bleed, which was a lie.
Great video dude 👏👏👏. You should make a "How strong is" series for video game characters, I've seen how many people downplay Video game Sonic compared to Archie Sonic. I've heard from many people that Mario (video games) and Sonic (modern) are really OP, and don't even get me started on Archie Sonic and Paper Mario.
One common feature I noticed in works of fiction that depict light and darkness in some way, such as Avatar and Legacy of Kain, is representing light with yellow/gold and darkness with dark purple/violet. The same applies to Sonic: those who use the Chaos Emeralds' positive energy turn gold (Super Sonic, Super Shadow, etc.), while those who use their negative energy turn violet-ish/purplish (Dark Sonic, Super Scourge). There are also evil Sonic characters who simply emit some sort of purplish energy/glow (Metal Sonic, Dark Gaia). Come to think of it, you could say the same about Goku and Frieza in the Frieza Saga. Their final battle is literally gold (light) vs. purple (darkness).

He also fought and beat Ultimate Emerl in under 30 seconds. Ultimate Emerl had the copied abilities of Sonic himself, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Rouge, Chaos and Gamma, 3000 worth of combat knowledge and had all 7 Chaos Emeralds. And he had just absorbed the data of the Final Egg Blaster which destroyed several star systems (sure, it overloaded him, but still).
But it was just a slap. It would be like Superman slapping a human. He would hold back since Eggman was controlling the Time-Eater and Erazor was a genie in a storybook. He was erasing the stories in that book so he would be a eraser like his name implies. I'll give that though about Sonic racing bringing back color and life.
a single chaos emerald has enough power to destroy a planet. the hilarious thing about it is how Eggman several times used it on his robots and couldn't do anything that showed their power. I'm not sure, but if Eggman studied all the emeralds and managed to drain them and put them in metal sonic, I think he would be on the same level as Archie Sonic.

Isnt Archie Sonic impossible to kill? I heard that after collecting his one billionth ring, Sonic became circumstancially impossible to kill. He's not invincible as he can lose a fight but the odds will always be in favor of his survival. No matter what, there will always be a chance that Sonic comes back.
Archie Sonic has canonically died in the comics. The events of 06 are confirmed to have happened in archie, and the death of Sonic is specifically mentioned. Dark Enerjak also killed Super Sonic in a timeline where he wasn't drained and actually fought Super Sonic at full power, which is supported by Ian Flynn stating that even ULTRA Sonic can't defeat Enerjak at full power.
Never had the chance to read any of the Archie comics. Would love to dive into them. Been a fan of the character for years, but never realized how strong he was. I've never gotten into the whole universal/multiversal power scaling thing. Too many crazies in that space for my taste, haha
I calculated that a rough estimate of how fast Base Archie Sonic can run is roughly 31.5 quintillion miles per hour. This is extremely fast, and I would say supercluster level. (Gigantic group of galaxies) Not only is this power deadly, but extremely useful. When nobody can outpace you, you can never be beat.

I would just like to make this statement: their is/can only/be one truly limitless being so when an item or group of items are sead to be limitless they are actually just designed to remove limits to an extent which would be their inbuilt limit which they would not be able to remove without another item ( but yes sonic is overpowered in the Archie comics pre genesis wave)

if you accelerate an object to a sufficient speed it can cause insane damage even if the object is tiny. All sonic would have to do to destroy anything he choses is to grad an object, tow it to his max speed, then throw it at the target
Also I forgot to mention that the S-Cells inside a saiyan are molecules meaning that it's possible for Ultra Sonic to manipulate it and turn them off and what proves my point is for example Caulifla in Super Dragon Ball Heroes wasn't able to take full control of her body when she was controlled by Oren proving that they don't have full control of their molecules and in GT, Vegeta wasn't able to take control of his body when he was getting controlled by Baby and yet he was an adult saiyan at the time much older than End Of Z Vegeta and that point was to prove that even adult saiyan can't gain full control over their own molecules when tampered by a being who can manipulate it.
Now that's kinda funny. All Ultra Sonic needs to do is turn off all the Saiyan's S-Cells (or flat out destroy them, making it impossible for them to turn Super Saiyan).
Here's the thing though, This is just Sonic using ONLY the Chaos Emeralds alone. In the Games Sonic has 2 more sets of emeralds from other universes. Seven world rings and the Soul emeralds. Imagine combining the power of the master emerald, chaos emeralds, soul emeralds, seven world rings all into one. And that's not all. If chaos emeralds have super state known as the super emeralds, then who's to say the soul emeralds can't become the super soul emeralds or seven world rings can't become the super world rings.
He hasn't shown being able to use the Sol Emeralds. That's just something only Blaze can do. Also, the Master Emerald was made to control/amplify the Chaos Emeralds. The World Rings have no connection to it (they're powerful enough on their own), neither do the Sol Emeralds
I would imagine that the Sol Emeralds have their own Master Emerald counterpart, so they may not even work with the Chaos Emeralds in that manner. There are also the Time Stones (Sonic CD) and the Chaos Rings (Knuckles Chaotic). I do wonder what it would look like if someone were to collect all of the different gems within Sonic's lore and try to use them. I would figure that character would probably just die from the overload of power.
The Sol Emeralds (you had an auto correct I think) are in the Archie series. But Sonic never uses them, they’re generally only for Blaze the Cat. Besides a major reason not to use them is if they’re lost from Blaze’s planet, the whole planet will begin to die. So not sure if he absolutely can’t use them, but he’s never thought the risk was worth testing.
Next can you do game Sonic? I found some great feats in the games, such as fighting Solaris in his super form, and when Sonic ran back to his own world in the end of Sonic and the secret rings, or beating perfect Chaos in his base form in generations who took going super to beat in Sonic Adventures, meaning he can grow stronger over time, Super Sonic can also only be harmed by game mechanics, like falling off stage.

Y'know what, I didn't realize Ultra Sonic's correlation to Ultra Instinct. Hum; kind of reminds me of Pokemon's "Mega" evolutions... Death Battles are fun to watch for me *exclusively* for the rundowns on the characters. Sometimes we get a cool mote of fight choreography along the way, but that's honestly the wind down for me with a few notable exceptions. This was the Sonic I had the most exposure to growing up, honestly. I was an idiot kid, couldn't play the games worth beans except 3D Blast. Even then, I sadly kind of fell off the comics at 50 or so. Makes me wish I could just flop down and read the whole thing, maybe along with the Fleetway comics.
Despite being kind of casual in the power scaling community, I don't see much of archie sonic (except on the vs wiki). hell even seeing him mentioned for the death battle was surprising to me. The point I'm laboriously trying to get to was, I wouldn't actually mind seeing more videos on archie sonic and the archie sonic universe.

Ok, so hear me out... what if the master emerald is just one of a set of emeralds of an EVEN higher echelon than the super emeralds? The hyper emeralds.
Nope, the Master Emerald exists as a "safe-guard" for the chaos emeralds, and while yes, it can power them to become the super emeralds, that's their maximun as far as we know (and none of them overpowers the power of the Master Emerald) but this only applies for the games. In the archie comics it works quite different, the "Master" Emerald is the result of 12 green chaos emeralds combined, but can't actually control the other emeralds like in the games, because in the comics there are literally millions of emeralds scattered throught the universe, each color having their own properties, but 7 emeralds are still needed for a Super transformation, no matter the color (but this changed in the "Great Harmony" event, where each color of the emeralds were combined to form the universal chaos emeralds, leaving only 8 emeralds in the universe (the "Master" emerald was excluded because the echidna tribe managed to avoid it getting combined with the other green emeralds)

Regarding Super Sonic, oh boi we really have alot to talk about. so for starters, when super sonic fought hyper knuckles, he had stated his power was enhanced by 1000x, which by itself is Alot. however, that was archie sonic's classic era. Way into the future during modern era, there was an arc called ''Great Harmony'' , where all chaos emeralds across universes came into one place and fused into 7. (note : on archie comics, there were way more emeralds than just 7, if you had only 7, you could go super), what would be called as Definitive or Ultimate Chaos emeralds. Just a single one of the seven would not only be way above the super emeralds, but also the master emerald itself. And by statements, the archie multiverse had an infinite amount of universes, so take it as you will. To have an idea of how powerful super sonic became, during Megaman X Sonic worlds united arc happened, Super sonic and megaman (who was also on his super state) fought Evil Incarnate Sigma, a version of sigma that was powered by an *infinite* amount of universes. aka the ENTIRE multiverse. yet he couldn't even scratch Super sonic. also, one thing people keep mentioning is ''hyper sonic'' in archie comics, technically speaking, hyper appeared during classic era since all game events happened in the comics aswell. We even seen the super emeralds, however, thanks the Great Harmony arc where the emeralds had fused into their definitive state, the version of super sonic is basically the hypothetical modern archie hyper sonic. Its still super, but has the power the hyper sonic would have.
In games, Super Sonic primarily exists to grant Sonic invincibility and flight. The first real threat to Super Sonic(beyond time limit) was Metal Overlord. While Overlord couldn't hurt Super Sonic, he COULD trap him, and Super Sonic couldn't hurt Overlord without the use of Team Blast. The only two beings that could make Super Sonic take damage were Dark Gaia(a planetary god, and the only battle in which Super Sonic had a health bar instead of a time limit?) and Solaris(a time god). Strange that Perfect Chaos, formed from the 7 emeralds just like Super Sonic, couldn't hurt Super Sonic.

Archie Sonic can move faster than time allows in BASE FORM. When he fought Flash Man, Flash Man froze time and Sonic could easily move as if time was flowing normally. Super Silver is just as fast and seeing as how Silver pretty much owns time in Sonic it makes sense that Base Sonic can easily destroy universes and Ultra Sonic is pretty much omnipotent

@@jadenbolton670 Ben 10 vs Green Lantern was a decent episode, they just did a shitty job at explaining why Hal won. That could have helped them avoid some of the controversy. It was pretty obvious that Hal was gonna win though. I still personally think Ben and Hal had better matchups than each other.
I mean Goku still can't beat Superman, especially with the way they did research back then by making a composite version of Superman (Post-crisis and New 52). Goku just didn't have enough feats to contend with Superman's (Sneezing a whole ass solar system to oblivion, being sandwiched between two planets etc). The Sonic vs Mario rematch was fair enough since, well, it's restricted to the games only and Mario is fucking OP as hell in the games (from my understanding) and vastly superior when it comes to physical strength. While Sonic can outrun a blackhole for several seconds, Mario had to pilot a star which was moving at a similar speed if I recall, so while he couldn't catch up to Sonic, he could still follow and react.

He is also smarter in the sense that he knows what a time space rift is and knows more about the mechanics on chaos control, and there is no friction in the ground when he uses his skates. He also “died” in sa2 because defeating final hazard would take a sacrifice, something that shadow was willing to take.

I watched treesicles video first of all. Although that may be like an opinion I certainly think the ultimate life form needs more respect. People think he is the Android saga Vegeta copycat sega wants him to be.
Also, Fleetway is pretty powerful as well. He might be the 2nd strongest Sonic character. Archie Sonic is obviously the 1st strongest Sonic character. Fleetway is like the 2nd strongest character. He literally destroyed a solid Megatal. He tear and damaged it. Fleetway also haves infinite speed like Archie Sonic as well. Fleetway can also fly up in space. He can go as fast as he want in space as well.
If you're referring to Wally West vs Archie Sonic, that's actually a really close matchup with a lot of debate. I personally think Wally has a slightly higher chance to win, but it could go either way depending on who does what first. Again, that's just my opinion.

It implies that once you master all your full potential (or get VERY close to it), the final form becomes them and they are the final form, it's not them becoming the form like it usually is. To explain how OP Archie Sonic is, he ran through 1000 universes in a single day (including the space between universes), tanked a blast from a machine that created multiple universes point blank, can phase through things by vibrating really fast, and warped reality with speed alone. All of these feats were done without his super form or chaos control. He can essentially move faster than Goku can think and would have enough momentum kill him in a single blow in base form.

I’ve been reading Archie Sonic since 93. My first issue was in fact issue 1. I purchased the entire series and even have double or triple copies of key issues, the Specials, mini-series, you name it. My favorite issues were 0-3, 1-50, 161- until the end of its era. But I REALLY enjoyed the era post-Genesis Wave. Really wish Archie didn’t drop the ball and didn’t renew the publishing clause. Really wish Ian could have completed what he envisioned within Segas boundaries.

@@drifter402 even though the IDW era doesn’t have the Archie cast, it still feels like a faithful continuation from Ian’s previous stories. Other than a few key characters that were part of the Archie era cast, (such as Uncle Chuck and Snively) I dont miss the Archie characters and the old loose plot lines anymore.

Archie Sonic has casual fate manipulation, and he doesn't even know about it! Mogul, the guy who could crush universes, flat out admitted to Sonic's face that no matter what he did, he would not be able to kill Sonic, and that the only way he COULD truly beat Sonic was to use his immortality to outlive him. Eggman would also figure this fact out, and would essentially give up on trying to kill Sonic, but instead just break his spirit, or rewrite reality to try to change these effects.

Great video dude 👏👏👏. You should make a "How strong is" series for video game characters, I've seen how many people downplay Video game Sonic compared to Archie Sonic. I've heard from many people that Mario (video games) and Sonic (modern) are really OP, and don't even get me started on Archie Sonic and Paper Mario.
One common feature I noticed in works of fiction that depict light and darkness in some way, such as Avatar and Legacy of Kain, is representing light with yellow/gold and darkness with dark purple/violet. The same applies to Sonic: those who use the Chaos Emeralds' positive energy turn gold (Super Sonic, Super Shadow, etc.), while those who use their negative energy turn violet-ish/purplish (Dark Sonic, Super Scourge). There are also evil Sonic characters who simply emit some sort of purplish energy/glow (Metal Sonic, Dark Gaia).
Come to think of it, you could say the same about Goku and Frieza in the Frieza Saga. Their final battle is literally gold (light) vs. purple (darkness).

a single chaos emerald has enough power to destroy a planet. the hilarious thing about it is how Eggman several times used it on his robots and couldn't do anything that showed their power. I'm not sure, but if Eggman studied all the emeralds and managed to drain them and put them in metal sonic, I think he would be on the same level as Archie Sonic.

Isnt Archie Sonic impossible to kill? I heard that after collecting his one billionth ring, Sonic became circumstancially impossible to kill. He's not invincible as he can lose a fight but the odds will always be in favor of his survival. No matter what, there will always be a chance that Sonic comes back.
Archie Sonic has canonically died in the comics. The events of 06 are confirmed to have happened in archie, and the death of Sonic is specifically mentioned. Dark Enerjak also killed Super Sonic in a timeline where he wasn't drained and actually fought Super Sonic at full power, which is supported by Ian Flynn stating that even ULTRA Sonic can't defeat Enerjak at full power.

Never had the chance to read any of the Archie comics. Would love to dive into them. Been a fan of the character for years, but never realized how strong he was. I've never gotten into the whole universal/multiversal power scaling thing. Too many crazies in that space for my taste, haha
I calculated that a rough estimate of how fast Base Archie Sonic can run is roughly 31.5 quintillion miles per hour. This is extremely fast, and I would say supercluster level. (Gigantic group of galaxies) Not only is this power deadly, but extremely useful. When nobody can outpace you, you can never be beat.

if you accelerate an object to a sufficient speed it can cause insane damage even if the object is tiny. All sonic would have to do to destroy anything he choses is to grad an object, tow it to his max speed, then throw it at the target

Also I forgot to mention that the S-Cells inside a saiyan are molecules meaning that it's possible for Ultra Sonic to manipulate it and turn them off and what proves my point is for example Caulifla in Super Dragon Ball Heroes wasn't able to take full control of her body when she was controlled by Oren proving that they don't have full control of their molecules and in GT, Vegeta wasn't able to take control of his body when he was getting controlled by Baby and yet he was an adult saiyan at the time much older than End Of Z Vegeta and that point was to prove that even adult saiyan can't gain full control over their own molecules when tampered by a being who can manipulate it.
Now that's kinda funny. All Ultra Sonic needs to do is turn off all the Saiyan's S-Cells (or flat out destroy them, making it impossible for them to turn Super Saiyan).

Here's the thing though, This is just Sonic using ONLY the Chaos Emeralds alone. In the Games Sonic has 2 more sets of emeralds from other universes. Seven world rings and the Soul emeralds. Imagine combining the power of the master emerald, chaos emeralds, soul emeralds, seven world rings all into one. And that's not all. If chaos emeralds have super state known as the super emeralds, then who's to say the soul emeralds can't become the super soul emeralds or seven world rings can't become the super world rings.
He hasn't shown being able to use the Sol Emeralds. That's just something only Blaze can do.
Also, the Master Emerald was made to control/amplify the Chaos Emeralds. The World Rings have no connection to it (they're powerful enough on their own), neither do the Sol Emeralds

I would imagine that the Sol Emeralds have their own Master Emerald counterpart, so they may not even work with the Chaos Emeralds in that manner. There are also the Time Stones (Sonic CD) and the Chaos Rings (Knuckles Chaotic). I do wonder what it would look like if someone were to collect all of the different gems within Sonic's lore and try to use them. I would figure that character would probably just die from the overload of power.
The Sol Emeralds (you had an auto correct I think) are in the Archie series. But Sonic never uses them, they’re generally only for Blaze the Cat.
Besides a major reason not to use them is if they’re lost from Blaze’s planet, the whole planet will begin to die. So not sure if he absolutely can’t use them, but he’s never thought the risk was worth testing.
Next can you do game Sonic? I found some great feats in the games, such as fighting Solaris in his super form, and when Sonic ran back to his own world in the end of Sonic and the secret rings, or beating perfect Chaos in his base form in generations who took going super to beat in Sonic Adventures, meaning he can grow stronger over time, Super Sonic can also only be harmed by game mechanics, like falling off stage.

Death Battles are fun to watch for me *exclusively* for the rundowns on the characters. Sometimes we get a cool mote of fight choreography along the way, but that's honestly the wind down for me with a few notable exceptions.
This was the Sonic I had the most exposure to growing up, honestly. I was an idiot kid, couldn't play the games worth beans except 3D Blast. Even then, I sadly kind of fell off the comics at 50 or so. Makes me wish I could just flop down and read the whole thing, maybe along with the Fleetway comics.
Despite being kind of casual in the power scaling community, I don't see much of archie sonic (except on the vs wiki). hell even seeing him mentioned for the death battle was surprising to me. The point I'm laboriously trying to get to was, I wouldn't actually mind seeing more videos on archie sonic and the archie sonic universe.

Ok, so hear me out... what if the master emerald is just one of a set of emeralds of an EVEN higher echelon than the super emeralds?

Nope, the Master Emerald exists as a "safe-guard" for the chaos emeralds, and while yes, it can power them to become the super emeralds, that's their maximun as far as we know (and none of them overpowers the power of the Master Emerald) but this only applies for the games.
In the archie comics it works quite different, the "Master" Emerald is the result of 12 green chaos emeralds combined, but can't actually control the other emeralds like in the games, because in the comics there are literally millions of emeralds scattered throught the universe, each color having their own properties, but 7 emeralds are still needed for a Super transformation, no matter the color (but this changed in the "Great Harmony" event, where each color of the emeralds were combined to form the universal chaos emeralds, leaving only 8 emeralds in the universe (the "Master" emerald was excluded because the echidna tribe managed to avoid it getting combined with the other green emeralds)

Regarding Super Sonic, oh boi we really have alot to talk about.
so for starters, when super sonic fought hyper knuckles, he had stated his power was enhanced by 1000x, which by itself is Alot. however, that was archie sonic's classic era.
Way into the future during modern era, there was an arc called ''Great Harmony'' , where all chaos emeralds across universes came into one place and fused into 7. (note : on archie comics, there were way more emeralds than just 7, if you had only 7, you could go super), what would be called as Definitive or Ultimate Chaos emeralds. Just a single one of the seven would not only be way above the super emeralds, but also the master emerald itself. And by statements, the archie multiverse had an infinite amount of universes, so take it as you will.
To have an idea of how powerful super sonic became, during Megaman X Sonic worlds united arc happened, Super sonic and megaman (who was also on his super state) fought Evil Incarnate Sigma, a version of sigma that was powered by an *infinite* amount of universes. aka the ENTIRE multiverse. yet he couldn't even scratch Super sonic.
also, one thing people keep mentioning is ''hyper sonic'' in archie comics, technically speaking, hyper appeared during classic era since all game events happened in the comics aswell. We even seen the super emeralds, however, thanks the Great Harmony arc where the emeralds had fused into their definitive state, the version of super sonic is basically the hypothetical modern archie hyper sonic. Its still super, but has the power the hyper sonic would have.

In games, Super Sonic primarily exists to grant Sonic invincibility and flight. The first real threat to Super Sonic(beyond time limit) was Metal Overlord. While Overlord couldn't hurt Super Sonic, he COULD trap him, and Super Sonic couldn't hurt Overlord without the use of Team Blast. The only two beings that could make Super Sonic take damage were Dark Gaia(a planetary god, and the only battle in which Super Sonic had a health bar instead of a time limit?) and Solaris(a time god).
Strange that Perfect Chaos, formed from the 7 emeralds just like Super Sonic, couldn't hurt Super Sonic.
Dark Gaia's nature allowed him to bypass the invulnerability. Solaris also had the emeralds reviving it.

Archie Sonic can move faster than time allows in BASE FORM. When he fought Flash Man, Flash Man froze time and Sonic could easily move as if time was flowing normally. Super Silver is just as fast and seeing as how Silver pretty much owns time in Sonic it makes sense that Base Sonic can easily destroy universes and Ultra Sonic is pretty much omnipotent

It was pretty obvious that Hal was gonna win though. I still personally think Ben and Hal had better matchups than each other.
I mean Goku still can't beat Superman, especially with the way they did research back then by making a composite version of Superman (Post-crisis and New 52). Goku just didn't have enough feats to contend with Superman's (Sneezing a whole ass solar system to oblivion, being sandwiched between two planets etc). The Sonic vs Mario rematch was fair enough since, well, it's restricted to the games only and Mario is fucking OP as hell in the games (from my understanding) and vastly superior when it comes to physical strength. While Sonic can outrun a blackhole for several seconds, Mario had to pilot a star which was moving at a similar speed if I recall, so while he couldn't catch up to Sonic, he could still follow and react.

He also has super sonic spikes, is immune to mind control and gas from Black Doom although he created shadow, and has additional chaos powers both in his hedgehog dna and in his black arms dna. He is also smarter in the sense that he knows what a time space rift is and knows more about the mechanics on chaos control, and there is no friction in the ground when he uses his skates. He also “died” in sa2 because defeating final hazard would take a sacrifice, something that shadow was willing to take.

They propel him at speeds which rival sonic’s except they don’t have friction on the ground. Once the inhibitors on the skates are taken off, all his speed is unleashed. This is my opinion. I watched treesicles video first of all. Although that may be like an opinion I certainly think the ultimate life form needs more respect. People think he is the Android saga Vegeta copycat sega wants him to be.
