Nah, I only care that Death Battle completely ignored a feat (Archie Sonic being able to bend reality and fate to his will) that they could not explain Wally beating, I guess because it wasn't an "exciting" enough win condition. That's the part that annoys me. They cannot give an explanation for how any Flash would beat something like THAT; the most any version of the character has ever dealt with are beings who can warp reality, not the concept of fate itself. Wally West is faster than light, faster than time, and faster than physics, but he is not faster than FATE. They tried to justify this by instead citing how he could outrun and defeat a physical manifestation of death, which has nothing to do with fate and is irrelevant since Flashes are known for outrunning death in particular (not other cosmic forces).

Fantastic animation on this battle! Having them fight inside the Speed vortex is totally amazing! I grew up more with Sonic but I’m a huge fan of both characters. Very well done! Truly inspiring and dramatic work on this event!

At this point time travel is basically a cheat code.
That’s the struggle, it was basically a question of who would use it first... but the Flash does it all the time 🤣 I think they also mentioned that Sonic isn’t able to “preview” events of the past or future to decide where to land, he just has to go... whereas the Flash can get glimpses to help him pick where to stop. This would indicate that, even with both of them having this cheat code, the Flash is better at using it.

So I don’t know if this is a popular opinion or not but I strongly believe that this episode should’ve been the season finale. Given how close the match apparently was it being a season finale probably would’ve allowed for a more in depth conclusion as well as a longer fight which could’ve shown off some of these twos more insane abilites.

Incredibly AWESOME battle! I just dont like the fact that super Sonic was "deactivated" just with a simple projectile from Wally, seeing he can resist to a attack from Enerjak (who can erase universes just with his beam). But still being a fantastic match-up.
Finally a sonic fan with a valid opinion
Wally has so much power(after sitting in the altered mobius chair) that he destroyed multiverses and tore spacetime itself through the VIBRATIONS OF HIS RUNNING. Fused with DC cosmology that enough is infinitely more powerful
He didn't deactivate Super Sonic. Super Sonic just chose to power up further into Ultra Sonic, as he has done before.
Why is it that every time a DC character is about to lose, they pull a time travel move?
To be fair, at least this time it makes sense considering the characters. Green Lantern vs Ben 10 however should have ended a different way. I agree with Lantern winning, but the finishing blow was stupid. I know Death Battle animations are just simulations and don’t represent how an actual fight between said characters would actually go down, but man, they should have done better with GLvB10

Green Lantern can’t beat Ben 10, or at least no time travel, there was a time effect in the show that I forgot about but it allows Ben 10 to detect a ripple in the time stream, but even then, Green Lantern only used time travel once.

That's all these ever are. They are fictional characters who would never be able to do this in reality. They're fun to watch, but at the same time, I hate them because people are comparing stats and feats of fictional characters like that actually means something. Any character can beat any character if they are written to do so.

Joshiesgotagun I love when Wiz and Boomstick look at a cartoon screenshot of some character doing something crazy and try to gauge the force or what have you by measuring surrounding objects in the screenshot as though the animators are like “Yep, that’s what we were calculating too when we drew this Saturday morning cartoon”.

In Knuckles V Donkey Kong, they treated Knuckles as if he was stupid because for some reason they prioritized Boom Knuckles' lack of intelligence. But the other versions of Knuckles are actually pretty intelligent, especially when it comes to fighting. (Yes sometimes gullible, but gullible and stupid aren't the same thing.)While Donkey Kong is a crash-and-bang smooth-brain puncher.
