Larmer should be in the HOF already. What a joke.

Larmer is absolutely a HOFer. Hopefully he gets inducted at some point.

A travesty beyond proportion... He was the true essence of a complete hockey player

Hawks went all the way to the finals that year? Lost to the Penguins?

    Goulet-Roenick-Larmer what a magnificent play
Dave Hodge...going through the motions here. Not exactly adding to the excitement. And when Larmer scores his 3rd why would you mention 5pts rather than him just scoring a hat trick? odd

Notwithstanding all of his considerable skills as a broadcast journalist, studio host and interviewer, Hodge was definitely not cut out to be a play-by-play man.
After three years of hucksterism from their play-by-play man in the person of the excitable Doug McLeod, the North Stars tried to go with a more professional approach and widely-known "name" in Hodge for 1991-92. After this arrangement proved unsatisfactory to nearly all, Al Shaver and Ralph Strangis restored the hucksterism to the television airwaves for 1992-93, the North Stars' final season.
