I ref youth hockey, and when I hear kids(peewee or lower) swearing, I tell them I keep a bar of soap in my ref bag and not to make me get it. Usually makes them and the coach laugh.

This kind of player-referee interaction in a proper Irish accent would be just priceless to listen to😂 (sorry, New England just doesn’t come close. Then at least Brooklyn/Newark or Siciliano/Pugliese would be awesome, too)

Lmao...y'know, the refs in any sport catch crap for enforcing the rules but hockey refs are in an absolute class of their own. Some of them skate nearly as fast as the players and skate up and down the ice all game long, break up fights, get hit by the puck occasionally. My hat is off to them. They have to referee a game with some of the toughest, most hostile and eccentric athletes in all of sports, all in real time.
That last clip was great i remember that! I loved those jerseys the bolts had for their 3rd jersey and tucker was an amazing guy when he played. Great skill and tough too.
