Pete, you're really going to want bigger, more secure and well anchored display cases for those shoes. As others have suggested, I'd actually move the shoes to the front of the store where someone can keep an eye on them. Displaying just one shoe versus the set would probably be a good idea as well.

I think this will be a good change for you with the shoes, and hype beast clothing. It’s definitely a huge money maker! Make sure to get a black light to check the sneaker boxes, get used to how the shoes smell as weird as that sounds! So many tells which are fakes and which are real! You’ll get there! ❤

That is not a pike, that is an African throwing spear from the late 1800s. Pikes were extremely long to protect the user from Cavalry and had a flat end so that it wouldn't push into the ground.

As someone who did retail security, I would move those shoes to the front where you can watch closer. The locks on those cases are easy to bypass.

Be carful with the clear plastic on shoes. Keeping them in the light/air will yellow the plastic and drop the price drastically. I’d suggest putting them in zip lock bags in a dark area and maybe do like a catalog style booklet of stock in the back. If you’re moving shoes fast it won’t matter but for one that plan on sitting 6months- few years it’s best to maintain the price and avoid losing money on yellowing shoes.

I was given 2 spears from a friend 20 yrs ago or more. He was a pipeline company owner who dug a pipeline in Africa and the worker would trade and barter with the locals. Those spears look exactly the same but with some faded color. Also with that he gave a warrior mask which looks very old.. Interesting.

I’m the guy in question. I keep it (along with lots of other important cards, and usually some cash) locked in the car because I hate carrying bulky things in my pocket. I usually remember to remove essential items before leaving the car, but not on that fateful day when I managed to meet the “Godfather” of reselling!

Displaying 2 sneakers of the same style is a big, big mistake. You need to show a single sneaker, and have the other shoe locked up. You will get swarmed and robbed. The displays are easy to break into.

The Jordan Retro 13s white and Red are worth amazing money Jordan retros only come out with a couple pair in each size. I’m a big collector I would never sell to anyone on eBay not the right place for retros people will try and say there fake just to get more money from you.
