That guitar dude was a genuine human being- we need more people like him- respect to you sir
Go to a Trump rally. They're everywhere.
yes he was, too bad Biden made his life a living hell by selling us to China and Ukraine for top pay and sending billions of our money instead of helping veterans like this gentleman. Sad reality. Trump term there was no inflation. Call him what you want he made America great bro.
Thank goodness I wasn't there, I would have bought all of those instruments. I am looking for a mandolin and digital keyboard at this time.
I am not cut out for selling stuff. I had a van, this was a couple weeks ago and used car guy said he would pay $6500, it sells for $13000. I found a family of 7, 4 kids long term foster care, sold it for $6k. To be honest that was so my wife wouldn't kill me. I give away cars and guitars.
lmao the way he laughed uhehehehe. I felt bad too.
@@anitamiller7960 yeah, it's incredibly tragic to see how so many normal down-to-earth people have been misled by the greatest criminal in american history :(
Sad to see this guy in a rough spot seems like a great guy wouldn’t mind meeting him people like that are rare to come by nowadays
Send him some money
I think at this point we're all pretty much broke -.- @@crazytrucker2376
@@MarkK01why are you here watching than?
Bidenflation killing me. $4 gas. Food 100-200% higher.
Meanwhile 11 million “immigrants” get new smart phones, $300 a week on a debit card. Free housing. Free medical. Free food.
I miss mean tweets and $1.75 gas
thank everyone who voted for Biden.
This one was a little touching. Poor guy doing what he needed to do, handling his responsibilities to his family. So sad. Wish I could meet him and buy him a beer for his song.
Probably my favorite video I've ever seen from you. This guy was in need for his family and you came through. Good on you.
How about if he gets a job?
@@bretmoleta1860 How about that you don't know the first thing about this guy--or his circumstances.
@@bretmoleta1860 Wow. You’re the reason people are ashamed to ask for help when they hit a rough patch. Go eat a piece of humble pie.
@@bretmoleta1860 Wow, I bet he never thought of that.
Bret! How bout you get a heart😢
You could see how humbled and uncomfortable this got was being in a bad position and having to trade things for pieces of paper. But yeah that guy was super cool.
Not really pieces of paper though. Or you think everything should be provided for free. Do you by any chance work for free?
we will remain economic slaves until the brainless sheeple realize the constitution is still supreme law of the land, which grants us (tax payers) the power to kick out this treasonous and criminal government along with their puppet master bankers
he was trading trinkets for the cost of living. BIG difference.
@@itsneight1260 I wouldn't call a whole studio work of instruments "trinkets". What the guy is saying is that nobody should have to give up their passion and valuable (sentimental or material) belongings just to stay afloat
@@bakielh229 Nobody was giving up their passion or valuable belongings in this video.
The guy could've brought in a single instrument and gotten the money he needed, but he didn't, he cleared out his basement of the cheap stuff.
I felt so bad for the guy selling his instruments, he is super talented on the banjo!
Don't feel bad, he's selling the mid tier & lower tier parts of his collections. Any musician knows this is a good show he put on. He may be having a hard time but ask if he;s got a Martin and he'll say : Hell no Im not selling that. The most impressive instrument he had was just ignored .
@@winnipegwhatever terrible rhetoric, those were probably some of his favorite possessions. He was enthusiastic and very understanding, a few traits that humans rarely have nowadays.
@@adammatthews4054 I'm coming from a very understanding position and also from one where I used to work at a pawn shop and currently a musician. I have pretty good sense of humanity and wasn't going after that angle. They are both nice cool guys, especially Peter. What I'm saying guy says he JUST watched his videos yesterday and pretty much sensed he'd be able to get money from Pete over other places that would have PASSED on everything or low balled. No items he bought are fast turn around. If he had a Fender '67 Mustang come out of that case....he'd have gotten about 2,000-3,000. Fixed all his bills in one shot. Perspective is all. He says he's not selling "the sentimental or good shit" without saying this ain't my good shit. Peter is also know with his vidjo's to have super heavy heart strings that can be pulled to gain a bit of leverage. My rhetoric wasn't trying to be foul but maybe came across as that when I said "he put on a good show". ....There's a reason they call that back and forth negotiating a dance. It's a bit of a show like we just watched.
He should have started a youtube channel playing his instruments and made even more money! 🤑💰💸
nah, that wasn't his good stuff. he said that was his stuff he doesn't use. did you notice all the guitar cases he wanted back?
My father also served on the USS Waldron during the Korean War.
Hope life continues getting better for this gentleman and his family. God bless them always.
You’re a great guy Pete
Humbled by it all - he has incredible talent. A true example of many - proud, quietly determined, and accountable to his family.
What a nice guy, and so understanding of how the process went and just wanted to get what he needed to get his power back on. I love seeing how empathetic you are Pete, it’s got to be heartbreaking some days what you see in your shop.
Thank goodness for people like you Pete. You helped that man out right proper.
Pete you should write on the back of the post cards in case you wanted to make a nice display out of them later
This channel makes me want to open up a resell shop so bad. Been watching Pete for years, such a stand up guy
Yeah I have the same feeling, maybe one day.
Channel makes me want to deal with other humans even less
Same here but he makes it look so easy while in reality you gotta have a good eye and lots of time to find the right stuff to buy and resell
That Johnny Cash cover was actually pretty good. What a great episode! This has to be one of the best channels on yt.
Two honest Men doing a deal. A Joy to see in 2023. Thank you both from North Yorkshire, UK
This dude with the instruments had a freaking music store at his house.
Dude with all the instruments was Cool!
What a talent that man has! A true entertainer! I’m glad you put that into the video. May he be happy, healthy and return to financial security.
God bless that old man. What a genuine dude. 🇺🇸
Peter - can you let this man busk in front of the shop? Super nice guy...wish him the best.
The guy with the instruments was a great guy ❤👍👍 people like him is the reason I watch this channel
I would have given that guy 1000 just for being so nice
there were so many itemsand good lookinginstruments. i wonder is each were evaluated teh total worth of them all
PETER, let me say that you are a generous man, stand up guy, honest and straightforward, truly a man of good character. Your empathy for those less fortunate in this world is evident and will not go unnoticed to all of us that watch from afar. God Bless You!!! The man playing the banjo was a great guy, as soon as he started the first cord, I knew the song right away...Johnny CASHHHHHH. Loved this video!!🪕😎😺🦜
I would have just put a numbered sticker on the back of the postcards ….now you’re going to have a bunch of postcards with numbers on them.
It's also hard from a retail point of view, nobody is buying and you aren't obligated to buy from the public.
People are buying, I sell on eBay and have like 4K sales this year doing it very part time
@@burntdice2810 no
Had me on the floor when you said "Its a special coin"! Thank you for getting my morning off with a laugh.
the one guy who sold all his instruments, made me upset. you can see he did that for his family. what a true man.
So happy you could help that man. Looks like a good guy
When Peter told him it was a special coin 😂😂😂😭😭😭 I love you Peter don’t ever change man!!!
Being a musician, this video was fun to watch! Kinda sad to see a man selling these instruments from an old collection that took years to acquire! That being said, I believe you were very fair and treated him well! God bless and keep you well!
From an english guy living in France. Always enjoy your stuff, congrats mate. So sorry for the guy selling what he can
I own that same hat as the Mexican dude. Bought it at a hat shop near the Beach in Ventura. Best hat I've ever owned. ....All those beautiful instruments sold off to pay a power bill; that is heartbreaking. Look at the joy the guy brings to everyone at the end when he's playing and singing.
$850 seemed like a gift to me. I wasn’t expecting an offer anywhere near that.
People are struggling to hang on
it's prophetic and nothing we can do about it now.. people were sleepy the last 60 years - they let everything go out of apathy, comfort and now comes the fear.
That first man with all the instru.ments comes off as a straight very niceguy
Hopefully that man gets everything figured out.
I just want to give that guy a hug and tell him it will be alright.. I hope he is doing well.
It is sad in the real world because people have so many memories back in the day and they have to give up on their personal belongings to pay for the high cost of living for no reason. It sucks. This is probably a really good video to see the people what they are dealing with everyday. I learn from this. Keep up the great work Pete. The books are really cool. I think that good idea and fair.
at least there are no more mean tweets
The guy thought Pearl Harbor was in 45…. Obviously it didn’t mean much to him
@@BabyDoIIxcmonnnn he was only 4 years late.
The high cost of living is not happening for "no reason".
Aw man what a genuine dude, the guitar guy. Best wishes to him and his family.
I’ve never understood why don’t these people list on eBay and Facebook Marketplace themselves if they need the money bad.
He just wanted to be on the CZcams channel.
It takes time and it's a hassle to sell on those platforms. That's why you pay for the convenience of a store like Pete's
Because they typically need the cash THAT day! If they had the time, I’m sure they would!
What a wonderful man ,good luck to him.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏🇬🇧🤠
Pete I put a bunch of metal signs out on the garage a few years ago and they all faded really bad, you might want to look into spray coating them with UV protection to help them last a bit longer.
"American Pickers" would call that rusty gold.
@@ilj1259 unfortunately they faded to nothing can’t even read them anymore.
Write on the back of the Post Card! Will make a great display someday
Moving to Colorado, one of the most expensive places he can pick to move too
What a talented man. So sad he had to sell all those beautiful instruments.
Best video you've posted for ages Pete. The customer interactions are what i watch for, rather than focussing on the products themselves. Good luck to that dude, hope he gets some good luck soon, what a genuine, nice guy.
am wondering if the guy that sold his guitars is watching this and reading though the comments ? if you are i would like to wish you and your family well...genuine fella !
I am! It is very humbling. God Bless You!
Pete, you get to meet some of the most interesting people!!! Guitar man was a gem!!! I hope he’s blessed in Colorado 💜
Absolutely amazing video. Feel for this guy and hope everything works out for him. God bless
You really helped the old man out,and can you give us an update on how he is doing in a few weeks? I feel so bad for the old man,we are all gonna get there one day but you did a good deed helping the fellow out.
This was good to see both perspectives. Thank you 🙏
People should wise up and start charging for being recorded and show on CZcams.
THAT. GUY. RULES LOL 🎸....and the gambling segment was G as fuuuuu lol
The outside displays look great Pete!! You know things are bad when they start selling their Bibles!
I always look forward to seeing your videos. Keep up the good work. 👍
Love your content Pete. Thank you.
Breaks my heart to see this man sell his life's work. His passion. Some of these instruments are absolutely beautiful. We are all having to make ends meet. Our current administration needs to go. Peter, you are a wonderful human being. Your love for animals and people says so much about your heart
A lot of people in his shoes would hate the world knowing his family served this country only for it to be driven in the ground by this administration. I truly believe he is a good man. It’s very impressive how happy go lucky he has remained.
@@soulcut5736not more than they would hate Trump. The man who puts down veterans and wants to take even more of their services and rights away. You can also blame Trump for the economy, he screwed us over so bad we’re still trying to dig out of the mess he made. DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AGAIN OR YOU PEOPLE WILL KILL US!!
Right under your administration Peter would still be in Poland just remember hypocrite .
Been watching a few months now. Very good real world channel. Thank you. Keep it up.
Amazing end to the vid. Also that WW2 pocket calendar is one of the coolest things i’ve seen on this channel. kudos
That man will always be rich with his music inside.
I hope this guy comes back into your shop with more items. It made a very good and interesting video.
Thanks for inspiring me to make a channel myself! Love your videos!
What a humble and polite man , good luck 🍀 to you sir .
This is Nostalgia at it's finest.. I grew up in middle Tennessee, now all the way in AZ. So many of your customers seem so familiar to me. It's surreal. This is like going back home and back in time.. Thanks !!!
One of the best episodes yet. Hope that guys in a better position.
i love watching your shop thank you so much, i feel so relaxed watching you do fair deal
i feel like im sat there actually in the shop its great.
if i wernt in the uk id come over and say hi, the windows outside look great and ruby loves the sunshine it seems. 😆
The videos are awesome 😎
So unique and entertaining, it’s sad that people have to sell their stuff, but I’m thankful you’re respectful, kind and can help them turn their things into money!
Continue helping people!
This was an awesome video! Great job!
Best video ever and i was watchin since day 1 ....That guy was great !!!
Thanks for the video Pete
Him singing and playing that at the end was magical man, wow that was good. Hope he gets his power back on and soon.
Love these longer episodes Pete!
I think you're gonna do great on that deal! The guy was awesome and you were very fair with prices! Great video, keep them coming!
love your chanel. Been binge watching a few hours.
It’s heartbreaking but you are definitely loving it! Great business.
Thank you for sharing, enjoy the song, San Antonio Tx, freedom before fear 🍀🍀🍀🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸, thank you Amigo 🍀🍀🍀

Love the craigslist Hunter crew and customers peace !❤ and of course the fur and feather babys, Thanks Peter.
That was awesome, great concert, bring him back!!!
The ending was Amazing
Gramps impressed me
Love the no country for old men clip.😂
Love the way you flipped the coin for an extra 20 and a fun little game…dude enjoyed spending that extra 20 😂
you know that man was driving to the shop hoping and praying he could make some money. I hope he gets things straight again
Dying I'm watching the video live right now on my TV and I just saw the coin flip second time I saw you do that Pete... Great idea. I love it. I started cracking up when you told him it was a special coin😅. Sending my postcard soon I've been watching you for a couple years now before you had honey.
Great music at the end
❤🎶🎶
Loved the ending!!
Awesome vid Peter, one of your best
great episode .....great!
You are a hell of a guy Pete, Take care.
God bless that guy selling his gear. Such a wholesome vibe 👍
Youre awesome Pete, a real stand up guy.
Thanks for the great content! If you need to write on the post cards, do it on the back. They are like little works of art. Especially the wood one 😊
Loved this one. That guy was pretty chill!
GREAT TUNE ❤❤
Wow that musician was such a nice human being and incredibly talented. I wish him the best luck.
I found this info on Royal Resonator Guitars
British guitar builder Kevin Chilchott has been making guitars since 1980. Kevin Chilcott learned his trade with luthier Chris Eccleshall. During the period 1981 to 1989 Chilcott made around 125 guitars most branded "Royal" but some were labelled Chilcott. A notable model from this period was the Electra guitar with a series of holes routed through the body. In 1987 the company became - Regal Guitars UK Ltd and production was moved to an Exeter industrial estate. In 1988 Kevin and his wife Lyn moved the guitar production to Wales.
A progressive disability, which started when he was sixteen, meant Kevin had to close the business had to close the buisiness in 1989, when he was 29 years old. By 2002, however, Chilcott was able to resume guitar building: Andy Powell of Wishbone Ash wanted an Angel Flying V custom built and this kick-started the present day Royale Guitars brand into existence. Chilcott's health problems meant he again had to stop making guitars in 2012.
Wonderful video! Love all of the signs outside too :-)
Love how he writes right on the front of the post card especially the wood one that was a work of art lol. Maybe invest in a label maker.
Born & Raised in San Antonio, Texas! Ol San Antone!!! Yes! Cool, glad I was watching. Thanks
