I had a friend that worked at a pawn shop for several years. He made decent money but quit and went into hanging sheet rock. I asked why he quit and he said: "I can't continue to make money off of other people's Downfalls". I respect his decision whole heartedly. Pawn stars and other televised shows don't show a fella coming in to sell the brass urn his mother's ashes where in......so he could get 20 bucks to buy more meth. They would like you to believe it's just random folks coming in with some "Junk" They found in their basement. 90% of the time, it's somebody desperate, under educated and possibly addicted to drugs/alcohol. Pawn shop owners make their living off by offering you the lowest amount you will accept at the lowest point in your life. Anything else on CZcams or television is basically a lie. Remember....the owner's bills are paid by desperate people.....not the cherry picked videos they choose to show you
