- Good arguments are like tennis matches. In tennis, both players aren’t trying to hit the ball at the same moment. They wait for their turn. It takes patience and strategy. The same rules should apply to arguments. Visit my shop Trading Post in Crystal Lake IL.

Guy - "If I come back in a hour, your offer still stands?"
Parrot - "Yes"
See he agrees 450
I had to rewind that a bunch it made me laugh to hard
Parrot is clearly smarter than the guy.
My heart goes out to the guitar guy. It was obviously really hard for him to let go of that guitar!
He owned for over a month. Sure.
elvis316
He also lost about 600 on it in that space of time and may have spent a long time saving for it. He was really attached and choked at the fact he had to sell it but not to the extent where he was delusional on the buyer having to have some room to make a profit. Feel for the guy
@@mrm5183 possibility.
He has four others but no rent! PRIORITIES
What if he ripped it off? .. he made himself $400 and will save even more on rent when he goes to jail 4 free, later (◠‿◕)
"How about $420? That's a happy number!"
I lost some respect for Piotr when he didnt jump on that^^
@@Schmuni I knew he has Polish roots :)
🤣
Best part...Ruby "MEOW" 😅
Laura Baumeister right ? Lmao
That guy with the guitar is a walking life lesson for all the kids out there
68CamaroRS/SS my dream car 💗
Thats exactly right- in more ways than one..
Lol yeah he’s a loser like the rest of ya!!
"$400 buys a lot of weed"- The final convincing thought of the guitar guy
Nicholas Del Giudice $400 pays a month of rent
It really doesn't though😂
Lmao
Rx Terps You couldn’t get that good of rent living in a bathroom
He was really ramming it hone.
The accordion guy was actually a great person. Knew exactly how much he was going to get for it and was an excellent forthcoming musician *mad respect*
At his age, (now 2 years older), if he is a forthcoming musician, he'd better get a move on.
That accordion sounds sweet. Love the old man: "If I die tomorrow the kids will just throw that shit out." :D
My grandpa plays accordion - watching that man sell his accordion broke my heart💔 he had so many good memories with that thing
Right! How he was talking about playing it too!
Yeah he said he played in the restaurants four nights a week with it so you know he was attached to it but as a musician i can guarantee you he has more than just the one he sold lol
Yeah he said he played in the restaurants four nights a week with it so you know he was attached to it but as a musician i can guarantee you he has more than just the one he sold lol
Chelsea Widdup I thought the same! I picture a younger him playing it in restaurants all those years ago!
You are a gorgeous lady
Take that Les Paul to a used guitar shop, you might do a little better.
Dave7777 he would definitely do better at a general music store.
great idea if this video wasn't 3 years old
I would have gave him that $400 and taken that to the house. I bet thats a big problem with running a business like that. All of a sudden you need a Les Paul.
might have? ya for sure
As long as it's not in shite conditions. And not a bad copy. And depends on colour and age.
haha the bird meowed thats so cute!
Haha I wasn't sure if it was the bird omg that is cute. I love the bird
Time stamp?
This guy is really a whole lot more entertaining than about 70% of the tv shows out there!!!! Does this guy even have an agent????
Because its completely real, its like watching homemade porn, its way bettter than the acting type.
Better yet! No chumlee!!! Pawn stars is good when they dont try to make reality show bits with that moron.
Love that Ruby meows to Milo! Thanks for all the great content Pete, I love that you have gone daily.
That Globe though😍😍😍 Ruby meowing at the end...classic. love it
420 is a happy number lol
Was this a joke?or was there something special with this number?
420 is cannabis
JHLEGOvids
thank you! greatings from Russia
Eugenia Nova 420....like blaze up.....are you old enough for me to be teaching u these things
Eugenia Nova ohh from Russia!? Wow! Crazy how far Pete's videos reach! Cheers brotha!
The acordian part was cool. Its always cool to hear people with years of expertise in one area talk about their passion or hobby
Watching all the way from Haiti! Love your videos Pete!
I can't figure out why i like hanging out at the Trading Post...but it's great. Keep the videos coming!
Enjoy your videos, just such a warm atmosphere! Love Ruby & Milo!♥️✌️🙏
THANKS PETE FOR A LONG ONE! Hoping for more shop vlogs, those are the best, its like im hanging out with Pete in the shop!
mydearpeers GOI YOI!!, LONG ONE....😎😎😎🤡🙃
Found your vids last night subscribed and have watched so many in the last 24 hours. This is better than pawn shop any day.
Guy must have said "brand new" 14 times
In itself a giveaway that it’s not.
You can smell the "brand new"!
Another good vid 👍🏻 love the two angles. The overhead shot is great.
We just found your channel and really enjoy the content and you. Thank you. :)
dude, this is my favorite new channel!!
Watching and getting inspired all the way from Brisbane. Thanks guys!
Ha ha, love the accordion old guy, what a great business, you must have some fun.
megs buy443 : Same here! I played the accordion as a kid. I remember my father bringing home one that was almost as big as me with tons of buttons! It was a monster!
Hi Zero Hedge, what great memories.
I love the accordion guy. Reminded me of my late father who loved to play accordion among many other instruments, and those two tunes were among those he played as well.
"Brand new"... means not used... lolololol
Taking it out the box is barely considered used it's not new but it is mint. When you buy a "brand new" car it's still got a few miles on it
@@cash3394 it doesn't have miles from another customer so the guitar was in fact used because it was bought new by a customer and used lol
@@billybiker5712 aye we all got opinions lol him playing in for an hour or 2 isnt used to me I'd consider it just being tested 😂
@@localdrummerweb actually, you can purchase guitars new in box from stores, of course, that depends on the model and all.
My man gets it done, love your videos Pete! Keep up the good work!
Love your videos Pete! Keep them coming!
I started selling on ebay last week , got inspiration from your videos !. Actually sold my first item within 3 days.
CanadianGarage : Cool and congrats!
CanadianGarage Congratulations. Pete has some of the best content in this space. He's a huge inspiration for all of us. Most of the content creators sell in specific niches I like Pete because he sells all kinds of stuff and has a store. Something I aspire to do someday.
@Ned Ryerson lol
@John Smith that comment right there is why you will make minimum wage you're entire life
@John Smith how is that ripping people off? He's in visitor make a profit. Can't make a profit if you buy retail and then sell retail...lol.
I learn a lot from you, appreciate your videos.
Guy playing the accordion is my favorite part. I wanted to get up and dance.
watching some older videos, thanks for sharing!
@Craigslist Hunter Good title, and a sound observation, one can't have a worthwhile exchange without hearing and being heard.
Diggin the Fleetwood Mac in the background!! Fitting for a guitar sale!
Thanks for the video bro
oh my goodness ( wanted to hear him play more ( how I love to hearing the accordion play
I love accordion man. So sweet old man.
I subscribed for the tennis match analogy
Gr8 video!!! Love your bird too...👍💕
Haha 9:50
Says are you a stalker? Then flashes back to the guitar seller!
Hey Pete you should look around for a bed slide for you truck sure would make things easier for you and save your back.
I'm glad I subbed to your channel so interesting to watch very cool
I love watching Pete negotiate. Such a seasoned pro. Calm, confident, and competent. Potent combination.
When you are in a pawn shop, it doesn't take skill to negotiate. People are there because they are desperate for money.
If they want to much then you just tell them no thanks
love the intro music!
I need to start a polka band with that old dude with the accordion
I'm retired. Reselling for fun. Made 600 bucks last 30 days...profit!! just playing around with it. LOVE TO WATCH YOUR VIDS..learn a lot
Another solid vid pete!
Taco Stacks i actually came across your channel through here love both of you good picking and reselling vibes. Are you on instagram?
yes he is taco_stacks
Pete makes awesome videos!
Taco spotting bingo. 😂😂
I enjoyed the man playing the accordion.
Beautiful guitar
Another great video!!
You could have kicked him the extra $20 on the Gibson since you were already beating him up.
He's extremely fair. I would have offered 300
You guys obviously dont know how a business works. It isnt a charity. If you start feeling bad for people you’ll get burnt. Remember these guys are trying to get the best price possible just like you are, and you cant trust everyone. Trade is always equal, he didnt force him to pay $400.
Lemmesmash - Yet here you are
Guys running a business, not practicing the guitar at home.
I had to do the same when I was younger, never let myself get in that situation since.
Man, feeling for the guitar guy. He loved that guitar, just had other pressing concerns.
He'd had it for two months and had played it for two hours.
It's doubtful it was one of his prized possessions.
Guitar man looks like he almost start cry at 8:42. Poor guy!
Great job
Love the videos!!! I Like how lil by lil we are seeing more of Adrian and vikki / getting to know them. Side note - I feel like Adrian doesn't like being on camera , which is normal lol but he's warming up to it . Then I was thinking its because he's like a total badass who is like on witness protection and he doesn't want to be found. But it's been like 30 yrs and he thinks it's ok, but then someone sees and shows up and a gun fight ensues like Viggo in a history of violence. In all the chaos they kill ruby / Adrian goes Jon Wick Style!!!
The guy with the guitar was so polite!
Very nice of you to give that man $150 for his accordion. His kids would probably donate it to Goodwill when he passes, he is right. Always see them there!
A “like new” Les Paul tribute doesn’t sell between $600 - $800…more like between $800 and $1000. They are $1200 new and hold their value.
Vicky was so cute, looked a little embarrassed she got a gift, she deserves one! Funny, she was looking for chocolate! The old gent with the accordion, so sweet, kind of sad. Knowing family will just dump his treasures, maybe there’s hope if they see this, see his things are worth sentimental and monetary value so someone else can enjoy! (If he comes back, maybe hint at that?) I’m trying so hard to not let that happen with my mothers things, but the vultures have already started their trade against me... family drama sucks it! Does Ruby love Milo? Or want to be/ thinks she’s a kitty? Love them both! 😘🦇⚡️Jet
PS do you ever buy from subscribers? I’m in NY, would have to send pics, ship, but at the right price...😉😄J.
New subscriber here and I really enjoy your videos!!
made to look vintage is called retro... love ur vids
Almost every video , when Pete says his final price the bird squawk s every time..so funny...I wonder if Pete notices that..
420 that’s a happy number, “yes my friend, yea it is”
This has always been my dream job! Would LOVE to open up a pawn shop! I have always since I was a kid, loved going to fle markets and pawn shops to find something way more cool then you can buy at Walmart lol. I'm 31 and think I'm finally going to look into it since I have to find a new job/a fresh start in life.
If what is put out online is true, bricks and mortar shops are fading out.
There are people who prefer a hands-on approach to buying things, so still prefer shops, but as younger generations come along who spend a large portion of their day on their smartphone, buying (or selling) online will be the norm for them, and the idea of walking around shops, sometimes not finding what you are looking for, will seem a bit weird.
So...(although you probably already know this), set up your pawn shop online.
Start today.
400 is a steal. For that guitar
Oh my gosh, yall really had Vicki going lol lol
Sooooooooooooooo funny lol
Oh my goodness, Ruby calling Milo, so precious!!!
A great vlog!!!!!!
Thanks guys!!!
I would never sell my guitar. “Look here kids, were gonna have to live under a bridge”...”yay”
Yeah, you'll be able to use it to make some extra money.
Great vid!
Accordion had beautiful tone
Dude messed up letting that guitar go
Pete I love your videos. Even the ride to the post office makes me feel like we are all here in this journey with you. I love that Tiffany light that was by the globe you were talking about. How much are you selling that for?
Pete, you all are great just live your videos !! Miss ruby and milo I love love love !!! I hv always wanted a parrot I would love miss ruby !!! I really love videos of dumpster diving and garage sales keep them coming Pete thanks to you all you all are great !!!! Lisa from down south Louisiana
Ahhhh. That's tough for both guys. Guitars prices are all over the place unless you've got something really rare. Beautiful Les Paul, but there's so many out there. That was a little lowball but yeah, trying to sell online involves lots of fees, shipping, etc. The owner could try on his own but like he said, all the running around, haggling, he's not gonna get much more
Pete is the KING! He makes us all HUSTLE HARDER!
That older gentlemen with the accordion, I like how is mind works.
Master at work, great haggling pete
that old guy was so right, it's a shame how people's family just throw that shit out without a clue...
Wow!! Bernie Sanders, rocked that accordion.
Thumbs up just for the title and video description
Lmfaoo, bruh hearing a bird meow had me dying.
I am lusting after the guitar....
That airplane globe is beautiful!
Adrian looks ecstatic to me !!! Way to go Aidd. Cool Film Pete !!!!.10:59 No !! it wasn't me either. Where's Milo Ruby?. CHEERS**** All.....
You can still smell the brand new on it
Got some nice musical instruments that day!
Vicky got a prezzie! Cool! What did she get? OMG I am so excited for her!
Love the way these people tell you what you are going to get for their items they bring in,especially a accordian, not many people enjoy anymore, maybe I'm wrong but guitars are my thing *Baby Boomer/Love my Rock* Ruby Great Meow!
Great video Pete, I would love to hear your view on estate sales and buying storage units/lockers. Your opinion would be awesome.
The song in the back ground is my favourite it's by Jay Ferguson -thunder island
Another great video Pete. This is what pawn stars would be it it were real.
"How about 420, that's a happy number."
You should have a signs saying wind up merchants within😂
I loved the accordion player.
Best part of the video. 420 IS A HAPPY NUMBER! I wonder why?
I like when he says" i'm not trying to low ball you" It is all about low balling.Great videos love your channel.
Joy Cool not really. Low balling means going less than 1/4 of actual market value. Pete's got to make money too. Remember that when he sells it for 700, BEFORE shipping, he's at 609... $91 in fees. And that's with free shipping. And something like this needs to be insured, signature confirmation, etc. He's close to 550 or even less with shipping. Making ~$120 on a $700 might sound great but that's a lot of $$ to tie up for such low return.
Based on what results he came up with he gave the guy a fair offer. Low ball would of been $100.
@La Sombra Del LoBo you're a riot...lol. You've never been in business with overhead have you?🤣
if you had to say where do you most of packages go to, domestic percent, is it like 70/30, and other than us, where do you ship to most often? thanks!
