My Last Meal in Korea ► Traditional Multi Course Feast

- It’s my last day in Korea and right before heading to the airport, I eat Hanjeongsik (the traditional Korean multi-course meal). Be prepared to bring two extra stomachs. Maybe even three! We dine at Insadong with my cousin Soomin, where you choose from various course meals. You can get fancy and empty out your wallet! We go with the “Daegam” (Your Excellency) course that is 28,000 won per person, which is about $25 US. An awesome deal for all that delicious food! Watch the video to see the feast unfold :)

I'm an adopted American Korean in an area with 0% Korean influence. I finally returned to Korea for the first time this past spring and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Watching these videos are so much fun but make me crave going back so much. Thank you for your vids. It makes me feel like I can enjoy Korea from home.

I think I know what that dessert was. It's like fermented honey that's essentially stretched until it's in super thin strands. I'll have to Google it to be sure but I think it's called King's Dessert or something like that.

I mean, iam german, so my first Language is obiously German, i learned English in School at 2nd place and iam in a quit good intermedian level. 1 Year ago i´ve begun to lear japanese.
So in my Head sometimes German/English/Japanese spoken and written language mixed up in a very confusing Way :D.... Anyways, best wishes from Germany.

It's usually perilla seed oil that seaweed is brushed with before it's roasted. In America they tend to use toasted sesame oil but they can be sesame seeds in the seaweed as well. That looks like laver and I don't like laver as it dissolves in your mouth and becomes slime.
