    For Cable hammer curls, should we be standing away from the machine like the cable curl?

    Would you recommend implementing this in a hypertrophy phase rather than a strength/peaking phase? Wanna get 17 inch arms over this summer once gyms reopen 🦾
    Would love more of these body part specialization templates Brendan.
    Maybe triceps next??

    • @BrendanTietz

      Def in a hypertrophy phase!! And damn your gyms are still shutdown? I thought Cali was bad. Hope it opens soon, that’s rough! I can do triceps for sure!

    Awesome! Tricep program would also be great ..seems pretty hard to program it with other pushing muscles

      Hi, not Brendan (obviously) but jumping in. If you're like me, doing tricep specific work (bodybuilding style) on top of a lot of pressing volume across the week can beat up your elbows. I've been messing with occlusion bands for this purpose. It allows me to get a quick and dirty pump workout in 10 ish minutes after my pressing with a much lighter load. My personal observation is that it actually promotes elbow health by forcing blood into the hard to reach connective tissue. If you pick your pump exercise wisely (something long head specific would be best as it's rather neglected from pressing) you'll for sure see growth. I like cluster sets for this with one long 20+ rep set to failure followed by mini sets of 4-8 reps with around 15-20 seconds of rest between them.

    • @BrendanTietz
      @BrendanTietz  Před 3 lety +1

      I can do this for you!!

    • @gopu1534
      @gopu1534 Před 3 lety

      @@koleary1798 I had elbow pain while bench pressing, I incorporated lighter cable tricep extensions before pressings sessions (wenning warmups) so i was hesitant to add more volume for triceps ..but i feel my triceps are lagging behind (yeah i'm at that weird spot)...next block i think i will add cluster sets.!!

    Sir, I have a doubt. Can we use this program again after deload week and progressively overload and Do we build muscle by doing this? Please reply Sir.

  • @c510sony1
    @c510sony1 Před 3 lety

    Can I combine this with the season 4 fusion group coaching ?

    • @BrendanTietz
      @BrendanTietz  Před 3 lety

      You can but obviously get rid of the biceps in there and realize this is a really high volume routine and can detract from the results of your other goals like strength, other muscle growth, etc. I personally wouldn’t but if biceps are a huge focus then go for it!

    • @BrendanTietz
