Why ZBrush? Why? hahaha Thank you so much, Sean!
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
I hoped that my stupidness lies with deeper solutions than my misclicking on the icon. ) Thx!
Ah it happens to us all!
Oh my gosh that’s so annoying. Zbrush really needs to fix their UI.
Yeah, it's a very easy mistake to make with the UI in it's current format.
thank u those buttons are so small
You're welcome, they're very easy to miss.
Thanks and What if the Polyframe button is not visible. Not even here?
If that button has been removed from your interface for some reason, you can still access it from the Transform palette (4th section down, 3rd icon to the right). Hope it helps!
@@SeanForsythTutorials Super thanks for the quick reply. I used shift + F key to see the wireframe but is there a way to place it on the same toolbar?
I learned that shortcut from this video :)
@@SherKhanShani Sure. Just go to the Preferences menu, and under Config, turn on Customise Interface. Then use Ctrl + Alt and drag the button you want onto your interface. When you're done, go back to the Preferences menu and under Config again, this time choose Store Config so it will be there the next time you start ZBrush. You can see an example of that here: czcams.com/video/DeWIYysks-k/video.html
Let me know if this covers what you need.
@@SeanForsythTutorials Super thanks again.
what if its just gray completely..
You might just have one grey polygroup on it maybe? Try making sure nothing is masked and then hitting Ctrl + W to create a new polygroup and see if that fixes it. Alternatively, you might have a strange material on it, try changing it. For example, the BumpViewerMaterial will show up as grey. Hope this helps!
its still not working for me i have zbrush 2021
That's strange, that's the only way to turn off polyframes that I know of. Sorry to hear that! Are you being really careful to hit the button exactly at the text area?
@@SeanForsythTutorials Thx I think I got it
Didn't work. I have specific redshift materials that refuse to honour polyframe mode.
Ah, yeah, this was for previous versions of Zbrush before redshift was implemented. Haven't seen it in the new version yet.
This is just further proof of how badly designed Zbrush's UI is. Not in a million years would I have figured out that those were clickable buttons.
Agreed, they're very hard to even click at times.
I expend 300€ per month and my teachers dont told me that!!
That's an expensive course!
Another reason to hate zbrush interface and controls
Yeah, it's weird, but once you get to love all the tools and flexibility, you learn to forgive them a lot of that stuff.
thanks what a ridiculous color to use for those fonts ... its the same problem with the 3 grids .. so much time wasted on stupid little stuff like this
Agreed!
Thank you.
Welcome!
