Can not wait for your whole family's new food adventures in China in the very near future.

Can you just message her through the wechat??
Oh my goodness! I miss Shanghai!
So funny that Magnus spoke about Mercado on the Bund as a favourite - we took you there on your 21st birthday 🥳!

Amy’s enjoying her time and having all those delicious food in my hometown, while I’m stuck in this endless Sydney lockdown 😭想家了
加油! Sending love to you in Sydney! Hope lockdown is over soon xx
@@BlondieinChina awww thank u Amy that’s lovely😭 hope everything gets better soon so that I can meet u and take u around in Shanghai!

Sydney is once again a penal colony!
@@lulalala_ 最近又闹起来了 封了好几周了 心态爆炸😩
I love Shanghai, literally best city in the world. We really envy you that you can stay in China now. China is paradise on earth. Love from Montreal.
Welcome you and your family to china and live here forever.
@@john-lg9li And We love Hangzhou, too. Stunning beauty!
@@saladesalade6730 Yes, my wife loves Hangzhou too!
If you enjoyed this video, raise your hand to show Blondie your undying support 🙋✋🔥
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Magnus is like 霸道总裁's first time trying street food. SOoooooooooo funny. Can't believe he only went to the fancy western style restraunts for 4 years! It is like living in Melbourne for four years and only eat food from Chinatown ( not even go to Boxhill).
Magnus is just being a normal and borded swedish guy, trust me, cause I live in Sweden. Most of swedish guys only fan of grilled food or western fast food.
I love this Amy, she is really energetic and attractive.
Everyone whom is positive and open minded is really attractive.
See this video,
You are almost a master of Chinese snacks !
And can introduce food to other foreigners.
You guys look so happy in the video. Must truly has been an enjoyable outing. The view at the end is amazing
Amy, you look so happy living and working in China, and your contents are always so interesting and high quality! Appreciate your fun, warm personality and constantly speaking Chinese and engaging with locals. Love your presentation and I'm sure a lot of hard work goes behind the scenes in research and planning. Keep up the good work and keep those videos coming!
That sky view at the end of the video is AMAZING!!! Wow! Great way to end the video!
Really love watching your videos on food in Shanghai, makes me wanna go there. I have never tried stinky tofu while in Taiwan, but will give it a go next time when in Shanghai. So good to see an Aussie like you enjoying Shanghai. Hello from Sydney!!
Amy is soo different from typical Australians. Amy is a very open-minded and friendly girl. Hope you enjoy your every day in China.
I'm Asian and have travelled a lot and find Aussies to be super friendly and open minded as well as curious about other cultures. It's also one of the most multicultural places in the world.
Shanghainese stuck in Sydney watching this drooling and weeping at the same time 😭
'nough talking going for my lockdown walk now. 🤣🤣🤣
ahaha same! i probably should have watched the vid after a grocery restock 😭
One typo, mockdown, not lockdown.
Four more weeks
lockdown is making me appreciate the convenience of living close to places like Chatswood 😂😂😂😂
@@psychespades ...where exposure sites and sick people are 🤣🤣🤣
3 active cases in Chatswood now and 2 exposure sites. Not as bad as the west but pretty bad in the north shore area. What can you do. It's the centre of the universe, Chatswood.
Loving the variety of these videos, from small villages to the big city.
Omg!! The 排骨年糕 shop you were in was the exact one we ate at in Shanghai when I visited a couple years ago! So good, we went first thing in the morning for brekkie 😀 cool to see it highlighted here
I love Amy’s contagious voice and sweet smile 😊
Another great show for local dishes, a typical Shanghai dish, simply, not complicated and made with deep passion, and long-lasting.
Amy you just made me “homesick” for shanghai again…but it looks like I may be returning very soon! Thanks for the tour of my favorite things, including the Edition rooftop, and all my favorite foods. Even looks like you had 羊肉串, which is also a big fave of mine. You present foods on video so well!
welcome to shanghai
I have been watching so many food recommendation videos per year. Amy style is one of those who makes me so hyper! 😋🥰🤩
Really enjoyed watching this video! Thank you Amy!
i can believe that Magnus been to shanghai for too many years , how can he not tried those amazing shanghai food, just shows if you are expat in the contry you really need some local friend to show you around
Yea but Shanghai now is a full fledged mega-city. It can cater to whatever kind of life you choose to have.
Love your videos! It's always good to have an open mind and try to appreciate other culture and food.
The expensive noodles with sauce of crab roe and crab meta attracts me a lot, it looks yummy !!!
It was amazing. I'm just sad I didn't try it sooner!!!
so happy when i see your videos pop up on my timeline 💖
Stage 4 LOCKDOWN in Sydney at the moment and you and your buddies have enjoyed all the delicious foods in China and walking around without wearing a mask, what a great escape and so envious. Take care and can't wait for the next video.
Sending my love to you in Sydney!!!
I always think that Stincky tofu is the Chinese blue cheese... the soy version.
It is. Way less stinky and pungent compared to the blue cheese though
i think it's different.Honestly i can't taste any pleasant flavour from the blue cheese.but the sticky tofu is just smell bad.it tastes good actually.
it's fermented bean curd. bean is the cheapest source of protein and fiber.
Thank you Amy for your excellents videos, I missing so much my hometown Shanghai and you helped me with these foods and images--- Hello from Switzerland
So great to see you back in Shanghai Blondie! I am moving to Shanghai myself next week; your videos are getting me hyped for the move!
Love your adventures really looking forward to returning to China keep the great content coming love from the UK xx
i love Blondies great positive energy
What a joyous person you are! Sunshine.
It's always wonderful to watch the way Blondie enjoying her food always so happy. The way she holds the chopsticks is far better than her Chinese friend. Her hairstyle is beautiful.
I miss Shanghai so much! it's also one of my favorite cities as well. Thanks for sharing this ❤️ BTW you look gorgeous and full of energy! love from Sydney
You are the best CZcams vloger of Chinese content. I love every single one you make!
Thank you Amy for showing us all the delicious food. We love watching your videos. Miss your mom and Dad
Already did . Every Monday night we look forward to your video
Watching this makes me hungry. Would b fun to go to China one day! Thank you for the video! Watching from Canada.
Love ur video! Happy to see u enjoy the life in China~
Can we get a list of the places you went to? That's always the challenge of traveling: finding great places, where you know the quality is good.
Actually the cooking process of Shengjianbao include the steaming part at first in the fry pan. When the water ran out, the oil inside will fry the bun. And so delicious!
Another food adventure, that’s awesome 👏
This is a fabulous video, thanks U2 !!!
Thank you!
That view at the end.....omg!!!!
I love your Chinese food adventure videos! You are so spontaneous and your videos always reminded me about 广州,中国😭😭😭
Love from Nashville, Tennessee! This is awesome, Amy!
Ah You're back in Shanghai!!! idk if you're still here but the typhoon is bring some heavy rains down here, stay safe!....can't believe you're finally in my city here~~~~
Oh, she makes me real envious.
Love watching this video Amy! Yummy authentic food.🤤🤤👍🏻
Your food adventures are so awesome
You are GREAT GIRL...BRAVO
What I really love about eating in China is that you can actually order one portion and share it with your friends. Here in Korea, you've got to order the same amount of portions to the number of people dining. And the most annoying part is that most restaurants don't serve one person.
Finally a vlog about shanghai food, I am here since 2019 due to lockdown
I love your show. Amy is great.
Try the 豆腐花 (toufu soup?) for breakfast.
It's also got 开洋 dried shrimp in it, along with 紫菜 (seaweed, a kind of), soy sauce and a whole bunch of other fragrant and umami things in it.
I would die for a dip of 油条 fried dough in a cup of 豆腐花.
This is one thing I miss from Shanghai living in Sydney. I just haven't found one single place in Sydney which does it right in terms of the authentic Shanghai style.
Do you mean 豆漿 ? I'm Cantonese though. We call it 咸豆漿 since (甜)豆漿 is the usual one further south like Hong Kong. On the other hand, we do have 豆腐花 which is like a jelly form instead of soup.
@@Loyee2000 You can say it's a jelly. But it's toufu jelly in soup. Savoury, umami soup.
Beautiful skyline!!!
Every time I go to Shanghai., I always drop by 85°c Cafe. one at Longyang Rd station (龙阳路). Where you transfer from the Maglev to #7 train to the city. The 85°c Cafe has this walnut bread that is very delicious. It also has some bean paste in it.
Years ago in the mid-1980s, I attended a summer session at East China Teachers College in Shanghai. They had foreigners-only Friendship stores then. Good place for silk rugs. The food then...mama. Cheers
Now the college renamed as "East China Normal University". Shanghai is totally different from when you were been.
welcome to Shanghai again.
@Rita 25 y.o - check my vidéó Thank you for your praise! In Chinese point of view, we want to build a paradise for the whole world! That is what Belt and Road Initiative for.
Here I am!
After observing with great attention all of this your stuff, Blondie, I fancy I' d like too much葱油饼 too! 🌮
But, of course, I would like to taste anything else as well! ...
(包括臭豆腐!)
☺️
I love this gentlemen. He is so cute!!!! Shy smile
So cute and handsome, must be gay
@@chonghann8859 lol
O Amy, how could u show us all this! Make my mouth watering! Make me hate the Pandemic ever more.
Awesome! From Calgary Canada
Wow. Street foods are my favorite. Can’t wait till the pandemic is over to visit China again…specially Xinjiang. 💕👍
Ain't it too warm for that gentleman to wear suit in June/July in Shanghai? I will absolutely melt.
I love Sydney but I really want to be in Shanghai now. What a wonderful day, look at those people! That's the real freedom and it's not coming from protest.
Frozen Xiao Lun Bao in a pack of 2~3 dozen quantity is available in Wuxi shops for travelers who are XLB lovers. I am business traveler, live 2 thousand km far away from Wuxi, every time I bought this from a famous shop(forgot the shop name, its xlb is very delicious) before boarding on plane.
Awesome ‼️
Amen to the Cong You Bing! You were holding it up talking and looking at it like a Priest with the Holy Communion.
Thie video makes me feel like in Shanghai right now, and I really missed the travelling experience in Shanghai --- My dream city.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great video & for sharing 👍🙏🍻
I am stuck in the US and it is just agonizing for me to see you guys trying so many delicious food back in China but I just couldn’t stop watching it. Btw I have always wanted to stay at Edition on my biz trip to Shanghai. It was already planned out right before the covid but then …. Damn
Thanks. Missed Shanghai. My last visit in 2019
Wow.. everything u eat look so yummy!
Shanghai's almost one of my fave cities!!!
lucky lucky you guys!
The best city in the world.
Very fortunate to have my partner's mum make shengjian bao and xianrou bing. Would love to visit SH sometime
Glad you are resuming your China adventures. Going into the thick of things. You seem to be making up for lost time 😂👍
Damn, i miss Shanghai. Thanks Amy for showing it to us.
Love your food adventures.
Aww thank you Wilson!
I just have to give thumb up to ur video every time, it's just so cute~
what a trick in your treat!
I love your poem! I love you guys 😂😂😂
next time if you try the ribs in shanghai, please must add the 辣酱油 on it. Only available in shanghai and almost all of the local people will add it and then taste. Quite unique and you can find it in all of the snacks stores in shanghia just like the 排骨年糕 store in your video!!! Please remember that and you will also love the taste!
Watching from Malaysia and made me feel very hungry. Awesome foods.
Thanks Steven!
@@BlondieinChina Be careful, we Cantonese say Shanghainese food is fatty.
Watching from Malaysia too. Shanghai is beautiful and hope to visit one day. I have never been mainland China except for Hong Kong n Macau.

lol, love the cong you bing poem
Love your videos, hope you are safe from the typhoon in Shanghai
Thanks so much! The worst of it is over now 👌
作为土生土长上海人!大壶春真的是最正宗原始的生煎包!还有排骨年糕,满满童年的记忆!还有葱油饼和切成pizza形状的枪饼,Im crying from the mouth!!!来澳3年2年没回去了,看了Amy在自己曾经每天都会经过的人广,云南路,简直想哭!!!!
The crab meat/crab roe noodles is my #1 food in this video.
Love your poem. Lol
Hi, Blondie
Thank for your reply.
Actually, I am a Shanghainese of Australia (Aussie citizen), and live in Sydney now. My wife is a super-expert to food, because her gustatory sense is amazing. Can you - just use your tongue - tell the composition or recipe of chocolate? This is an easy job to my wife.
By the way, let me tell you: the best Shanghainese food you can find is in Ashfield, Sydney. People call this place “Shanghai Town” or “Little Shanghai” where Shanghainese dialect has been already an "official language" in the most restaurants over there.
Best regard
Daniel Yang
so happy a day
Wow! I can't wait to go to Shanghai! I like Shanghai too.
yeah, great poem
Amy is the best! Best personality
