    Another good improvement over the old x3000i is the 2560x1440p120 mode.

      This is true. It's definitely a nice touch for users planning to use this for PC gaming purposes. Personally, I've been using my projector more for console gaming. Though I believe one or both next gen consoles have recently received 1440p support in updates

      YES!! Not covered a lot but this is huge for gamers when 1080p is too low and we want to keep the high refresh. Perfect compromise for this HDMI revision.

    Needs horizontal lens shift so you can position it in corner of a room

    Those 2.1 HDMI 4K 120hrz ports are taking their time at BenQ and OPTOMA.

    also the previous version lense had no glas in front. only the first few versions.
    what I hate on Benq is that you can not update the firmware by yourself

    I'm definitely interested in getting a gaming projector, but man that lack of HDMI 2.1 and VRR really REALLY hurts the value proposition vs standard display.

      @Nick930  Před 8 měsíci

      Definetly. Though if you're console gaming, especially retro console gaming with friends, this thing is great. Ive used the previous model a lot this year and its great for parties

    Cool. Flexing a free TV.

    • @Nick930
      @Nick930  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Except I already had a projector before, so this isn't a "flex" so much as it is a review.
      If I were to flex, I'd show off my PC

      @Nick930  Před 7 měsíci +3

      Huh? The footage here is offscreen captured with a camera.
      The in person quality is obviously not "pixelated"

    I would play some games with a projector, but I decided to use it for movie watching instead. It's my opinion of course, but that's depends on everybody

    Is there ghosting, smearing, and/or blurry motion??

    • @Nick930
      @Nick930  Před 7 měsíci +1

      None that i could see no. Only ghosting and blur i noticed was the result of my camera recording at 30fps. Gameplay footage in person looked super smooth

    Looks decent but I love my LG oled

    • @GokuInstinct1
      @GokuInstinct1 Před 6 měsíci

      Same. I got an LG Oled and it's hard to go from that to a projector but once you see it in person, you will maybe change your mind. At least to play on it for parties like multiplayer games like Mortal Kombat, or something like Mario Kart would be epic since everyone will be playing on a regular size when it's split into 4 screens. 100 inches means a 50 inch screen for each of the 4 players on a game like that! I played Mario Party the other day with some friends on a projector and it looked great on the big screen.

    Bro, it's all nice and dandy but at the same price i can buy a Samsung 65" OLED and a PS5 so why bother?

    • @Nick930
      @Nick930  Před 7 měsíci

      Because 120'' is a little bit bigger than 65''
      And this is assuming you already have a ps5. Why would you buy this if you didnt already have a console?

    • @justinbeamon6624
      @justinbeamon6624 Před 7 měsíci +1

      The immersion from 120" absolutely destroys a 65 inch in the same room. No use in having an OLED when it looks like you're playing games through a port hole of a ship lolll.

      @Nick930 sorry I thought if you bought something and used it for a video, then it's considered a business expense and can be written off. Unless they gave it to you and I missed that part. I was trying to make a joke. Love you man 😊
