    Also, opening the rear motor, after only 600 miles of use / 1 year, I took of the ball bearing's black plastic rings and I discovered that the grease dried out completely. That kills any ball bearing and is dangerous. Lately, I'm using AN102562: Corn Head Grease from John Deere because it stays more oily.

    Hope you do a video of fishing wire and wire clean up.

    Hi thanks for the video, best video about assembly the controllers... I had to bought a new pair because I burn logic board of the first set ... I had the wrong instruction :( put energy in the Blue Blues wires and now gives "no communications"

    Nice video, im also waiting for the DS20 display but when its done

      I ordered a DS20. The version doesn’t have Bluetooth, usb port or CAN bus whatever that is. I don’t care about those options anyway.

    Where did you buy the front and back lights and is there a way to install those instead of the ones that came with the scooter? I would need to know where to plug them in? You also just set your P setting for the power to 100% or less for it to hit 50mph? I'm light so don't know if I need to set it to 100 for it to go 50mph was thinking 90 to 95% for the power.

    i ordered the kit with the qs-s4 display and didn't have problems with the throttle delay.
    A question, when using the alarm bypass, the scooter can shut down automatically when the minimum voltage set in the display is reached?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci

      The alarm has nothing to do with that. However, I don’t think the setting on the display really cuts off the voltage. On all my other scooters it doesn’t but it really depends on the controllers. You could try setting it to 60v,run your battery down and see if it cuts out at 60v.

      @@Desert-Ecruising also happened to me the scooter shutting down at 58v, from what i googled it's a BMS problem, so in this case if the scooter shuts down at 58v with the alarm bypass is there any way to turn it on after?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci

      @gabrielmatos8733 it’s not the BMS in this case, it’s the stock JP controllers. I replaced them with Yunli sinewave controllers and that solved the problem.

    Hey man I just wanted the let you know I got my new controllers installed... Your videos made it very easy to follow along... Do you know if there is a low voltage cutoff on the new controller? Also what kinda range do you normally get from a charge?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 20 dny

      No low voltage cutoff setting. To be safe, I would never run it below 52V. Never did a range test. Much depends on speed, weight, terrain etc. Most I’ve gone is about 20 miles and used 50% of the battery. Was riding maybe average of 30mph, including stops and starts.

    I love your videos. I have an Arwibon 60v 5600w Q06. I have been having the same exact issue. Do you know if these controllers are compatible for my Arwibon?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 6 měsíci

      Most scoots are the same when it comes to wiring. As long as yours has the Hall connections (square white plug from each motor) I believe they should work. Your wiring colors in the scoot may be different than mine as well so it would take some figuring out what’s what, but the motor connections should be straight forward. Match the colors between the motor phase wires (thicker blue, green, yellow wires) and the controllers and also the hall wires (square plug). The controllers have a learn function so that helps make it easier.

    Where else can the led driver board be plugged into ? If I wanted to add a set of fog lights or something , do you happen to know ?

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 20 dny +1

      If you still have your sidelights, taillights, and front running lights all connected, then you would need to splice into any one of them to add new lights. I can give you more specific details if u email me: maikemarx@gmail.com

      Hey I emailed you bro. And I have the same exact led board piece for the Jp controller that connects to the headlights and switch . But it broke I can’t find this piece no where is there a work a round for that led board? I don’t wanna just hook stuff together and fry it. I just found that my Ti30 rear motor power cables plastic insulatio nyellow and green only, developed cracks and peels, after only one year of use. Not the front motor and not the blue wires. Be aware.

      Change them to bullet connectors. Sometimes the crimps on those can go bad and burn your cables
