The issue is gonna be in those 3 pin connectors. They typically work through selves loose. To make matters worse, whoever manufactures this harness, they use super glue to hold the wires in the the issue you have. There is obviously moisture and and batteries crude, so my advice remove the connectors and solder One at a time, so you do not get confused.
Another Great Video, I've pretty much been doing the same things you are doing, but you caught my attention when you said you got some sine wave controllers, I've been looking, but since I'm still fairly new to the scooter thing, could you let me know what you got and where you got them? I've heard it makes taking off so much smoother, and even quiets down the already decently quiet motors.
I have these here but will not be installing them for about a month. Need to finish up mods then will do some testing with stock controllers before swapping them, so I can compare the differences. @@Desert-Ecruising Thank You for that, I will be pretty much following along :), I got the 12v converter so I was able to get rid of those annoying stock RGB strips, and put some of my own on there, along with the same headlights you have. working out great thus far! I will be getting doing away with eco mode soon also, once I finishing modding my throttle, I bought a thumb throttle that I will be soldering into the display, seems pretty easy based on what I watched. My Hand gets fatigued and cramps up with the trigger throttle, Should be good to go tomorrow afternoon.
I’ve seen that thumb throttle mod video. Let me know how it goes. I don’t mind the finger throttle, my Qpower scoot has one too so I am used to it. For me, just needed to adjust the angle on the handlebar.

Where is the place place to contact you with questions? Short version is, i tried hooking up an led square light to the horns cables, to see if it will light up. Well, the light fried, now my scooter wont turn lights on and horn doesnt work. I have opened up the stand plate and pulled all the wires out but I dont know what could have shorted. The rear brake lights and blinkers still work, but none of the other lights turn on. Scooter works as it should other than that.

There’s something wrong with my halos on this set. The voltage is the battery voltage so around 62v at the moment. The lights are rated from between 12 to 80v. Have these on my other scoots that run off lower battery voltage and those are OK. Kinda sucks but the headlights are working great and that’s the main reason I got these.
@@Desert-Ecruising Ah yea i kinda forgot, above a specific voltage they actually go dimmer, at 70V the main beam will run but the halo's will go out entirely i only used them on a 48V (54.6V max) battery and a 52V (58.8V max) battery so i didn't quite think of that I would suggest running them off of a stepdown converter on 60+V, you can even use a lighter/smaller 12v stepdown for just the halos edit: they seem to run brighter on 14V than on 12V, so maybe something variable
@@Desert-EcruisingOh by the way another recommendation, i would get rid of those phase wire connection boxes and solder decent high current bullet connectors instead, the spade terminals are well known to heat up alot and melt it if you like to ride it hard especially uphill
@usedneedlegutterscrapedkne7772 Yes, I wanted to get rid of the alarm but still be able to disable power. If you didn’t care about disabling the power, you could just remove the alarm module and jump the two outside pins on the connector that the alarm was plugged onto. Leave the middle (black wire) on the connector unconnected.
Display cable has two, 3 pin male connectors. The one with yellow,blue, green connects to 3 pin female with yellow, blue, green on controller B. Red,orange,black from display cable connects to 3 pin female with black,orange, orange on controller B.

I’ll have to check it out. But they must have changed something. I have these on my other 60v scoot as well with no issues.

if i wanted to quickly disable these lights, would it be okay to just cut the wires? or would i be better off covering them with something?
You could cut the wires, sure. You would only need to cut one wire on each LED.
okay so the bypass you did for the alarm is only because it acts as a kill stitch when enabled?@@Desert-Ecruising

Can you show me the wire tht connects to display to A/B Controller

Yep, could have made them yellow running lights or instead, front turn signals…
Maybe its just me but seems to me ur going way overboard.I'm waiting for u to take one of the motors off and put a circular light there.
