New Fuel Pump Module Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1AFPU01553
This video shows you how to install a new TRQ fuel pump with integrated sending unit in your 2011-2016 Hyundai Elantra. Combustion engines need three things to operate: fuel, air, and spark. If your fuel pump isn’t delivering the fuel your engine needs, it will run poorly, or not at all. Or, the pump is fine, but your fuel gauge isn’t working. Many modern pumps include an integrated sending unit. Either way, a new engineered to fit fuel pump for TRQ is just what you need.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2011 Hyundai Elantra
2012 Hyundai Elantra
2013 Hyundai Elantra
2014 Hyundai Elantra
2015 Hyundai Elantra
2016 Hyundai Elantra
Tools you will need:

I am ashamed you don't have 100k comments. This is the best how to video I have ever seen on CZcams. And I have watched quite a few. THANK YOU You just do the work, expertly and cinfidently tell us in plain cinsie language what your doing. Even the " turn key 2 clicks..such detaied and easy to understand directions. Amazing stuff! You have easily saved us 1000 dollars I'm confident after watching this I can do this in a couple hours.
When installing the new fuel pump, it is extremely important to not let the assembly touch that adhesive. The gas dissolves that adhesive easily and it can contaminate the gas if it gets on the fuel pump. I would recommend removing the adhesive before taking the old fuel pump out. If you dont, at least cover the adhesive when installing the new fuel pump. I let it dry a little then covered the adhesive in paper towel to prevent it getting back on the assembly. If you got adhesive on it, pour the gas that was in the old fuel pump into a metal mixing bowl, dip a folded up paper towel in it and use the gas to clean off the adhesive before putting the fuel pump assembly back in to make sure none of the adhesive goes in the fuel tank.
The Best Tutorial on replacing an electric fuel pump on a Hyundai bar none……#1
Just finished my wife 2015 elentra. Did everything just like video said, worked out great. Getting ring off took extra 10-15 minutes and heat index 109 was frustrating but other than that went great!
I have to tell you Sir this is one of the best videos I have ever seen on CZcams. Your explanation and detail to what matters make so many people look like clowns it's unbelievable. I just had to have this done. Nine days in a dealership. I was told this was a four hour job, HUGE. If I would have known, I would have done this myself. This is pretty straightforward. Thanks for the video.
That's why they're called STEALERSHIPS. Any competent tech could do this in about 20 minutes. A DIYer in less than an hour. The fact that it can be accessed from the floor hole makes it insanely easy : no need to empty tank, remove so no need for a hoist.
Best video my elantra is giving every indication its gonna go soon rough idle stumbling slightly when coming to a stop exc I think the filters clogged I wish it wasn't inside the pump also I think that's the dumbest place to have the fuel pump
Thank you very much for the Tutorial, it helped me a lot for my Hyundai Elantra 2012 1.8 Limited
Sir your a great man! my fuel pump need a replacement “the whole fuel pump “ so i will try and do it myself based on this video hope everything works great or else my dad is going to kill me💀.
Is the fuel filter inside the pump ?
This is genuinely an EXCELLENT how to video!! Thank you sir!!!
TY. Awesome detailed description
Awesome video, very detailed and easy to follow.
Is the fuel pump replacement the same for a 2011 Santa Fe
Thank you for this video.
EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!!
What a helpful and detailed video😊
Wow this job is way more frustrating than he makes it look! Such a silly design..
Thank you my friend
Only question, for the adhesive, what did you use to clean it for the new adhesive? I figured goo be gone should work.
@TRQ would this be the same process for the Tucson model
What would be the symptoms of the fuel pump going bad?
fantastic
I know you say to run the vehicle until it stops but what if it can’t start it to begin with
Is that type of filter only for cars made in the USA? I have seen videos where they show another type of MD elantras filter.
Will this work for 2017? If not is there a video for it
Thank you ❤
What are the symptoms of a bad fuel pump?
What’s the labour time to do this?
Question I change the fuel pump of my hunday but the engine light still on, and I just notice that the vin number is a Korean one and is giving me the fuel pressure sensor alarm so should I just get the sensor or the whole pump since the pump is a us build?!!
+Cesar Acosta We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Such a POA to fit in the hole! Almost have to break it to get the new one in?
You're. It supposed to lift up on the ring tabs. Supposed to hit the ring loose with hammer and chisel
dam should've replaced both o rings plus that main ring plus the actual filter just solely cause you had access to everything as a preventative maintenance
That voice sounds so familiar😊
Why not just replace the float?
